Week5 one plant is doing pretty good. Decided to go for topping then bending, I also cut the lowest branches. The other plant seems to have had too much heat stress and have not grown much.. Especially two of them are suffering so I put them back inside and trying now to make them recover by providing them some humidity with plastic bottles, should work hopefully

As u can see not all reached the surface so ill be replacing these with Diesel from Soma and Dos Si dos from Zamnesia.

This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. What up fam, weekly update on these gorgeous girls. They're showing preflowers now which I'm definitely happy as that means the stretch is almost over. I did add a 2nd scrog net its 6ft high. Overall, I couldn't be happier with how they've grown. Happy Growing.

I would be lying if I knew how far her flower phase come, this couple weeks been absence only gave me results, and left me with a catalogue nightmare, but thank goodness my previous posts are dated, so it gives a rough idea, but genes differ within strains, some strain grow vigorously at certain stages, and I think this baby hit her phase. She will be my best tree when it comes bud quantity, when it comes to potency, I will have settle with what I encounter and except the outcome.

The good weather is back so these babies are back outside!

They have finished the final stretch and are showing some nice little flowers.

Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. Update week 2 of Bloom

Hey everyone :-) This week it smells more and more sweet and fruity in the whole room 😍. There is actually not much to report, everyone is now under 12/12 :-). 1/25 Week 11 Ripley : Flushing begins with a five gallon flush to move the runoff to under 200ppm and defoliated by pulling almost every leaf on a stem, and god what a bunch there were. This opens the plant and removes those sources of nuets. Going to doing this as quickly as we may so will be monitoring runoff as we go. Tara: Slight Defoliation just trying to keep these leafy SOBs open. Back on Heavy dose of CocoTek and placed in best light I can we just watching the bud growth for how to help this big girl. Will not pick up Peak again until ready to withdraw the CT. Better pics when I can 1/26 Ripley : Second day of flush just keep running water through it till runoff gets low no longer PHing the water, nothing much left in there anyway. Fading really showing now Tara -Zilla : She likes the nuet and light change buds really building now Not getting any taller 1/27 New pics of Ripley she is getting so damn frosty in flush Tara building buds very quickly 1/28 Continuing flush on Ripley, she will be harvested in two days, its fast but we need the space. Tara no changes except more buds 1/30 Ripley removed from tent for harvest. Opened up Tara's binds. Tara now the Queen of all she surveys... Not a pleasant job trimming - LOTS of leaves UPDATE 261 grams dry, yeah took a beating on the dry but expected it.

These two did great even through a lil stress they still came out on top. I almost want to run it back but I think it's time for something fruity maybe, maybe having a terpene profile that helps initiate a more stone heavy affect and be indica heavy.

Week 3 Veg - Thus far running accordingly. No signs of stress or deficiencies. Introduced a Co2 bag (Exhale 265) to run into early flowering. *End of week recap* (08/27) User error during LST for both - Gave heavy nutes to assist on the rebound - Minor chance of stunting Besides the LST error - Running smoothly - Light flower will begin in 2 weeks.

Looks to me that the flowering transition has begun! I did some light defoliation, and LST. 1 Gallon dosage of the above listed nutrients lasts for about 3 days, before drying out, and ready for the next dosage!

Lots going down this week! I threw up a couple pictures today (day 74) I'll add more pictures and videos later on but I wanted to get this week started... Day 70; Nothing much to report except we got the new Optic 8+ 120°lens LED installed!! We got her put up around day 69. It's the 2nd optic weve bought and love these lights! The plants reacted immediately and we only started them at 80%veg brightness 20%bloom. Increasing 10% or so a day. I also built a cloning station so I can take cuts tomorrow just incase we fide a unicorn!🤞 Day 71; Officially on 12/12 light schedule now! I've decided to keep #2 in her 3gal pot. #1 gets the 10gallon smartpot. Both are doing terrific. I top dressed with .5 table spoons per gallon of soil on both plants using Papa's Perfect Poop. Made buy Michigan made mix m3 soil company. Its 5-10-2 using 100% organic fossilized bat guano Day 72: I defoliated both plants today. Fairly heavy but not extreme. I took all the larger fan leaves out that were blocking the lower bud sites. I also took clones today. 2 off each plant. 1 of each clone went into an ez-cloner that uses spraying water to root them. The other 2 cuts I put in a hydrofarm cloner that submerges the stems in aerated water until rooting. Day 73; The girls both bounced back and are praying beautifully after the defoliation. Both loved it! I can definitely see the start of new growth already on the lowers. I'm keeping the clones on 24hr light schedule. I know its addition stress but it's easier for me. Day 74: Literally nothing happened today. I sat and stared at them for maybe 2hrs but that's about it tho lol Day 75: A bit done today. I rearranged the tent hoping to give the girls a bit more leg room(you can see #2 in the picture is growing all funny because of space) I also watered #2 tonight. I'm finding the Choc Mint OG do not like much water. I also took them out of the tent for some glamour shots. You can really see what difference 7gallons of soil can make in terms of size. #1 is nearly a foot taller. Both are starting to stretch. Curious how much that is. Put #2 out in shades place outside to harden up Day 76: Not much going on. I watered number 1. Day 77: Big day today. 3 days ago I put #2 outdoors in shade to acclimate. I know I rushed that a bit. Should have let her harden up a bit more first, but I wanted her in the ground and growing roots while she has time. Its gonna be close but I figure all my other outdoor plants are just starting to flower so why not? My tent was a little crowded so being outside will give her the best chance possible!
