All of the dosidos’ ended up dying. Hope it was a case of weak genetics and not my incompetence because the northern lights seems to be completely okay, and we’re about 2 and a half weeks in now. Next node is coming in and the plant is really kicking into fast growth now around 4~5th May.

Day 14 F. HOLY SMOKE THIS LIGHT KICKS ASS!!!. Lol Each week that passes has been a pleasant surprise. I expected I would have had to move a good portion of the plants over to my other space and just grow 1 or 2 under this Viparspectra xs1500. Yet her we are at week 2 ending with flowering plants who are all getti g plenty of light to convert into the growing buds. The #1northern lights is well underway with stretch and bud stacking while her midget sister tries to grow higher. The 2 Gorilla cookies are beginning their stretch now and showing fluffy tips that are the pistils bursting out. Both look like they could get very big indeed. I may have to move these two so I can get my Grandaddys mimosa and the big northern light right below this little powerhouse of sunshine. My Mimosa is really impressing me at how vigerous it is. She is stacking the buds up on her many limbs too. I did a minor defol to remove lower scrubby growth and will be keeping her focused on her mains. She looks very happy at the moment. The light really has impressed me this far and seeing buds appearing all over the plants isba promising sight. Lets see what they do in the next week. Be safe.

Day 49 - lookin good..... been bending her, trimmin abit, messin with the water solution..... ph and ppm have been all over the place..... lol she's been transitioning from grow to flower, and once she settles into night mode, the solution and growing should stabilize...... the new fan is cool... tents working properly now, neg pressure, drawing in air behind the floor fan, blown around the bottom, and cpu extractor fan pushing the air out the top of the tent, straight into the filter..... really nice way to run a little tent, low airflow........ keeps the impurities out of the buds..... the stalks have all tuffened up since trimmin, and pretty strong now.... should hold the full weight that's about to occur all over the place...... i've simplified the nutrients, they were gettin alittle confusing, so started doin nuets differently, .... so, just making my own nuet solutions, nothing fancy just base amount of normal elements .... should be a pretty good christmas ...... Not a lot happened last week, just monitoring, feeding, and keeping everything in check while the girls did their thing. I did switch over to my finishing nutrients and have cut out calmag according to feeding chart I have been following. I think we are gettting pretty close to harvest though! The trichomes are starting to get a little milky. I am going to wait until about 30% amber to harvest though. I am getting super excited to finish this one and start my next run! 9/2 - The girls have been doing great and are starting to pack on the size and frost nicely! Nothing to do to them really except monitor and keep checking and making sure everything is running at an optimal level. The closer it gets I start to get a little nervous for the dry. I am prepared and have a plan, just hopefully I can get my dry set up as dialed in as I was able to get my grow tent. I will try to post more updates this week. Last week I had company from out of town, so it was difficult to get around to it. 9/5- Just continuing to monitor and check the trichomes, once about 25-30% turn amber I will be harvesting! They are starting to get pretty cloudy right now. When I did the res change yesterday, I switched to just root drip and full tilt and have started flushing, hopefully not too early, but im following my feeding chart. Week 6 update: What up Grow family. These testers are growing fast and strong. Where in week 6 now and the swelling and ripening of flowers are going amazing. Still feeding 500ml/16oz daily as I've found that's the sweet spot for 3gal fabric pots for these. I'd say these probably have about 2 weeks left until they'll be finished. All in all Happy Growing.

Week 4 She feels good after Topping and some defoliation. I think after 1 week I will change light schedule so she will enter flowering stage.

Great growth in veg, great yield for an auto flower. Smokes great with a blueberry exhale and old school Kush inhale. Racy start and chill finish on effects. Great for an evening of Netflix.

I first started with a single 26W light for the seedlings but this wasn't enough so the seedlings started to stretch. Thankfully, i could borrow 2 x 39W Sunblaster T5HO lights from a friend. Once i got room in the tent, the seedlings could move over there so they can enjoy the Mars Hydro TS-600 light. 😊 I also started this grow with a new bug-scan card. I wanted to keep track if this Cellmax soil has gnats but i already can see this soil is free of gnats. (In the past, i had other brands of soil that were infested.) For now, i'm only adding rootbooster to the water. Next grow i will also use rootbooster when i prepare my soil for the seeds but for this time i forgot. The seedlings are growing good, looks like there is 1 smaller one. Also there is 1 bigger one, this one really wants to grow because she's also leaving more internodal space compared to the others.

OVERALL: ~ Very happy with the grow, I really dialled everything in well this run. ~ She grew super fast, I put it down to the constant oxygenation of the rootzone along with consistent and constantly optimized light DLI and leaf to air temp variance. The extra Co2 helped push the plant to its limit in terms of heat, allowing it to push its hardest. ~ The lack of HST and Defoliation I feel let it finish faster due to lack of stress and stunting. The faster finishing time along with the big yield and efficient MarsHydro light, it hugely reduced my electricity costs per gram and freed up space much sooner for the next plant. ~ Turned into a very dense bush of buds, there is even smokable dense buds at the base of the plant due to the under canopy lighting (Not as dense as top canopy buds but still decent) ~ Ran a thin line between stressing the plant and letting it flourish. The buds came out big and very dense, also it's hard to see on camera but they're very frosty too (Prob from UVB) YIELD: ~ 145g (dry) in just 9 weeks from seed. ~ 753g (Wet) ~ 0.91g/watt GENETICS: ~ MSNL - Gorilla Glue Auto ~ my favorite strain, as you can tell by my username! STRAIN REVIEW: ~ Heavy hitter, like an indica but has some of that "feel it in your face" sensation of a strong sativa. Not as heavy or as strong as other GG#4's I have smoked, which would make me question the genetics used to produce the auto version. I will wait till after a cure and judge it again. TRAINING: ~ No defoliation or HST (Bar last week for pics) ~ A little LST and leaf tucking but largely just left the plant alone to do its thing. I felt chopping healthy parts off the plant would slow the plant down and leave it with less chlorophyll to photosynthesize the light. ~ I did prune by lightly plucking dead leaves away, when the plant was ready to let them go easily. DRYING ~ 20/21'C 50% RH with air circulation. ~ Homemade Drybox made using: 2 x Bankers Boxes ~ 2 x USB Desk Fans ~ 1 x Carbon Filter ~ 6 x Clothes Hangers UPDATE: Day 5 after Harvest: ~ Fast dried some small batches, as we couldn't wait to sample. ~ Chopped off branches as some are down to 12% moisture whilst bigger buds are up at 18%. Moving to paper bag for couple of days to even moisture out then transferring to jars CURING: ~Curing in jars 3/4 full. ~ Dark closet/18'C/50% RH ~ Jars burped once Hygro passes 65% and sealed when it drops to 58%. ~ Stabilised it at 62% and after 2 weeks I'll drop it some more and stabilise it at 58% to bring out more of the flavour. ~Sitting in jars with Boveda 62% at this stage. ~ Already tastes and feels great. On hand for heavier use (Once every 3 days before lights out for 15 days) in the case of an outbreak (No outbreaks yet, due to aforementioned preventative measures)

18 plants, 5 strains. Each plant has 3 main buds. By means of LST I tried to make them all the same height. Because the plants have now stopped growing, leading is no longer necessary. The plants are still attached to the plant sticks with tie strips to support the buds when they get heavy later on. Lots and large leaves, and therefore a weekly large defoliation every week. The trichomes begin to appear. I have 4 Marilla Fruit plants and they are all very different. The scent of each plant is very strong and very special. MF # 2 - 79cm - has a very compact Indica growth pattern with wide and large leaves. I had to defoliate a lot. Trichomes production is well underway. MF # 3 - 99cm - is more of the sativa type. Very slender leaves with purple stem. Trichomes production is also well underway at this plant. MF # 4 - 81cm - Indica plant with thick clusters of leaves that are packed very close together. Lots of defoliation work. MF # 6 - 96cm - rather sativa type. Open structure, relatively few large leaves, many side branches, buds spread over the entire plant. Less positive are the many small leaves between the flowers.
