Beginning of week 13 was harvest time! Checking the trichomes on their main buds led to the decision to harvest them. Almost all of them had already milky looking heads and some of them even turned amber. Their incredibly sour smell was barely tolerable as well. Made the decision to harvest them all at once, so the grow room can be turned into a drying room for them. Since this is considered an experiment after all, we wanted to try out wet trimming as well to compare it to the dry trim we're used to. So considering #3 had the least amount of effort due to the low amount of head buds overall, we choose that one to be wet trimmed. It surely was a very sticky and still time-consuming activity, but we're pretty happy with the result. Can't wait to see and taste them when they're finally ready, dried properly and cured a bit! This is plant #2. She still remained my absolute favorite one of them, having the biggest and most beautiful looking main buds. Would've expected a bigger stretch at the start of flowering though, so her branches were still growing pretty close to each other, which isn't that bad but also wasn't really the desired look overall. Plant #2 is one of the dry trim ones. Just made sure to remove the biggest leaves that could prevent a good airflow between the buds when they're hung up.

Working towards germinating 4 autos. Hopefully all seeds will successfully take. Seeds will soak for a day or so and then into directly amended soil in fabric pots.

I harvested them about a week apart. Neither one was as bulky as I hoped for, but they both frosted over incredibly well and smell a little bit like black cherry (one of the genetic donors)..but it's also a little like a burgundy wine flavor on the exhale. Very appropriately named! Plant A: 80g Plant B: 88g It's dried up into some really tight, beautifully dense nuggs. Between both plants I got about another 30g's of lower/larfy bud that I'll press for the rosin in another day or two. This strain is pure magic to grow...nothing to it really. They happily eat up whatever nutes you give them and aren't light-sensitive in the least. They stretched a little more than 3 feet from the time they were switched to flower and both plants reached 4' in total. Slightly more space between the nodes than the Sucrose Overdose, but they filled in nicely. They have a very mild aroma while growing, but it smells delightful in a jar. One pheno had "praying" fan leaves from the get-go, all the way to the end...never drooped..not even at night. It didn't have the more red coloration in the foliage and stems like the other one. But a real beauty just the same.😍 I still have one of these beans that I'll run next Fall..and prolly clone the hell out of it..👍. On day 20 of flower I’ve decided to do a big defoliation to reduce the humidity and make sure all the budsites get enough light. Never did a big defoliation like this but always wanted to try it to see if it’s something for my growing method or not. PH is on the low side currently, started on 6.3 with 1.75EC six days ago but the ladies are drinking more water than nutrients so each day the PH drops and the EC rises a bit. Will do a complete refresh when it drops to 5.2 Smell is really great and my gloves were already reallu sticky after defoliation round.

---GENERAL COMMENT--- Girls are at day 4 technically, but i like to update Sunday always, so keep that in mind, is 1/2 a week now. From germination to soil emerging took 3-4 days, no issues at all. 100% germination rate from multiple breeders till now. I will try my best to do a stress free grow again, so will grow mainly naturally. ---RQS EASY BUD--- Ironically the Easy bud is developing better and growing faster than her sister. ---DAY 10 UPDATE--- Over some days she got volume, just started to use RECHARGE, and wow, that thing works, 48H you could tell something is different, since watering with it the stem is thicker and is growing more vigorous, lets see how it will impact overall! ---DAY 14 UPDATE. WEEK 2 FINAL--- This is the last day of this week and this girl is absolutely amazing, she grew a lot, showing already the intension of shooting up more stems, i'm very happy with her, it has been a delight to grow, response in very good. Voodoo juice is of by now, will keep the recharge maintenance every other watering as i'm loving it. Feeding program will start soon!

Cant take my eyes off my plant. This is my second round of growing and I am the type of person who learns through failure (not gonna upload the pics of the first round plants lol). The buds are thickening up very nicely. Hoping to get between 3-4oz , the strain is high yielding but I have a smaller tent. My auto yielded 2oz with the same space (2 plants in one tent splitting the space), but the buds definitely didn't develop as well as these buds.
