Day 42 Flowering: Hi all. These girls are motoring along so nicely now and using every available lumen that this wicked little beast of a light can throw out. The Northern lights #1 has spent the week putting new pistils out to join the nice fresh ones from the previous week. There are only one or two pistils that are turning orange so a long way off her final flush of flowers and ripening. This is a good sign of possible things to come. With a longer flowering period , we get a bigger bud !!. Lol There are numerous mains that have now become long bud spikes so should produce a nice yield too. Still sparkling white and a slight tackiness if touched. Smell is just beginning to be evident with a slight hint of sweetness. Grandaddys mimosa is beginning to colour up all over now and her bids are looking more developed in ripeness than the other last too. She does have a lot of leaf to bid it seems but as she swells , this should look less compacted. She is only a small lady in height with around 7 mains developing as spikes. Her smell is a nice juicy fruit aroma so far and I can feel her sticky thc when I rub the stems. They are really developing well now and I am so pleased with the performance of the XS1500. A great light . The other surrogates that are elsewhere are all going well too with the 2 Gorilla cookies really pushing some nice bud sizes out. Nice sized ,stacked colas are all over their structure of both plants and even the lowers are beginning to look good. The #2 Northern lights ( mutant) is catching up with her sister and friends now but is about a week behind in size development. She is a long limbed lady with cluster buds so a lot less productive looking than her sister but she looks nice and healthy with it.. I am noticing a slight mottling on the leaves of a few plants now so I will be adding calmag to the next feed to stop this getting too far and losing energy from photosynthesis. I expect a little yellowing off of older leaves to begin showing now too but the use of coco and L.E.D usually includes adding calmag as they both leech mg from the soil and plants. Hopefully I can catch it before it gets an issue. Temps are more reasonable now the heatwaves are done here so any extra co2 from the exhale bag can now be used as a booster and not to survive. Another good week for the ladies and the xs1500. Keep smiling growmies. The deception is falling apart now !!

*clears throat* NOOB SPEAKING! So I fudged up and just realized that I’ve been using the kool bloom POWDER way too early. Never realized the difference between the liquid and powder. She seems to be doing good and fattening up fine. I’ve never seen a issues from using it too early. Smell fruity, spicy, and sweet.... maybe from the kool bloom being used too lol early I dunno. From what I read it may hurt the yield but with two week left in flower only time will tell 😞 thankfully I know it’s strong so only ever used very small amounts. Thoughts???

Nothing really to report, but just 1 watering. No nutrients only recharge. I transferred the clones into soil party cups. All labeled and being fed low doses of dry amendments with the transfer. Buds are fattening up and getting frostier. Number 3 is still my favorite pheno. Next run I have 2 of the #1's and 2 of the #3's ready to go. As soon as the ladies are chopped, I will clean the tent quickly and start all of the clones in flower.

This plant has a solid stench of pure ripe lemons. So much aroma and color in every bud, purples, to dark green, to lime green, to solid frost. This one definitely a fun strain to watch grow and tend too for the last few months. She’s definitely a hungry girl, seemed to be the only strain out of the three that accepted and thrived with full feed nutrients. Would definitely recommend this Strain to someone For a nice uplifting day smoke, also seems to do me good for some pain and stress relief.

Some great growth over the past few days, Jack is starting to stretch his legs for sure! To ensure there’s no issues with height, I decided to Top him, I’m not really going to apply any other methods of LST other than gentle defoliation and lead tucking. Jack has been fed regularly BioBizz nutrients and some beneficial bacteria to support the mediums microbiology 🤓✌️👍 Let’s see what the next week holds for Jack, he’s under a 250watt dual spectrum HPS for the rest of his life now ☀️ 😎 See you all next week! ✌️👊

So close to harvest. This week and last I reduced the amount of TPS1 in the feed from 15ml /gal to 10ml/g. Early in the week, Apollo's lower leaves started showing the fade using up the nutrients. Thursday, I did a preliminary trim to remove any fan leaves and feeder leaves with longer stems. just handling the stems and buds my hands, nails and arms were sticky. After the trim, I put Apollo's Friends back in the tent with her. When the plants were in different veg/flower cycles, I separated them into tents. GDP and zkittles grew with in 2-3 inches on the light. I could not raise the lights anymore. Today, 11/19 is day Apollo's 69 day and 41 in flower. The harvest window per RQS is 70-75 days from seed. Tuesday will be the harvest day. After watering only 2 liters with Vit B, Recharge and Signal yesterday, I put her in the 3#x3tent in the dark. Apollo's buds are thick, dense, stinky citrus floral and sticky. The sugar leaves are showing color change as she knows her life is ending in glory. I am so proud of this grow. I didn't overfeed so I have experienced the color fade to yellow as foods are used up and the delicate colors emerge in the sugar leaves. I am very impressed with Royal Queen Seeds F1 genetics. So much so I bought Milky Way F1 and Medusa F1. I will definitely have another Apollo grow in January. Thank you @James at RQS. Apollo F1 had a huge base stem and was multi branching-even the side stems had side stems. The stems were sturdy. No support is needed for her branches She stayed short at 26 inches tall. I definitely pushed her on the watering. When I saw no runoff after 2.5 liters of water, I upped to 3 ltr. Then 3.5, then 1 gallon. I watered 2 liters, let the water absorb, then slowly add another 2 liters. There was a small amount of run off at the time of watering but was all gone by the next day. It could have been evaporation, but I really think it was consumption. Consumption is an indicator of yield. As densely bushy as she is, I'm estimating at least 90 grams. So for future grows, especially for very bushy plants, I will defoliate at least 2x during early and midflower to open up the canopy and let the plants bulk up more. She did show some nutrient (cal-mag) deficiency and for the next Apollo grow, I will push the feed a bit. I'm excited and a bit sad to see this grow come to an end at the same time. I really want to sample the smoke and feel the effect. Apollo is a balanced Hybrid. Thanks for the visit. Apollo and I appreciate the likes, views and comments. Have wonderful week . Happy growing and have fun. Natrona ******************************** Apollo F1 is a vigorous auto flowering hybrid that boasts a strong structure and delicious aromas. Created from inbred lines descending from Lemon, Black Domina, and Sugar Magnolia, Apollo F1 inherited premium genetics from her predecessors. Like the ancient Greek deity she's named after, Apollo F1 produces balanced, creative effects that might inspire your perception of music, dance, poetry, and more! Mature and well-dried Apollo F1 flowers boast an upfront fresh aroma that combines crisp pine and herbal notes with the invigorating kick of ripe citrus peels. Accentuating these notes is a rich backdrop of dark vanilla and hints of lavender, reminiscent of modern cannabis varieties descending from Cookies and other US lineages. Apollo F1 produces a resin loaded with plenty of cannabinoids (predominantly THC) and a complex mix of terpenes including myrcene, terpinolene, farnesene, caryophyllene, ocimene, limonene, and linalool. As a result, Apollo F1 produces a balanced effect very typical of a well-bred hybrid—expect a powerfully relaxing physical sensation (characteristic of myrcene, farnesene, and linalool) mixed with a notable euphoria and motivating kick produced by terpinolene, ocimene, and limonene. Apollo F1 is a robust cultivar with the telltale compact structure of an indica-dominant hybrid. Plants reach a medium height with many tightly spaced branches that quickly become loaded with bud sites and thick, dark-green foliage. Apollo F1 flowers automatically, and her entire life cycle lasts roughly 80 days. Come harvest time, Apollo F1 will reward you with big, dense flowers bearing a thick layer of trichomes.
