Decided to try this freebie seed I got from an order. Breeder is Prism Seeds, from Canada I believe. I will be growing this single Feminized Alien Technology plant alongside 3 other Ayahuasca Purple from Barney’s Farm to fill my RDWC setup/tent. Hopefully they jives well together in the same RDWC system when they go to the flowering tent. For now they are in there 3x4 veg tent in 3gal single DWC buckets. I have a 1200w(180w actual) king plus LED about 2.5 feet above them. The humidity was very low so I added a humidifier to the tent and was able to get it up to 50%. But with the seedling being directly over a bubbling bucket of water as long as I keep the rock wool moist she will be fine. Seed went into a glass of water overnight and directly into rock wool cubes and placed back in the dry cup and covered the top for about 24hrs until she came up to the surface. Then I dropped her into a DWC bucket/clay pebbles and put her under a 18/6 light schedule to come up. The next day we could see stem but she was still in her seed breaking free. Second day she was up but I had to remove the seed and skin very carefully to help her out as she was stuck a bit. Couple hours later she was up and out! Just gonna keep the rock wool moist and water the clay pebbles around it for the roots to explore. That’s it for this week, cheers! 💨

She is doing really good. I am mixing it up with extra Nitrogen. She really likes it allot and needs it. And so far everything is going fine and there is much buds poppig up now hmm.😍

Once the pistols started showing I swapped to 5 ml of tiger bloom and 2.5 grow big and 2ml big bloom ( all by fox farm) she is looking great and I hope to continue to spiral the main stem in a spiral to save room and allow maximum photosynthesis to take place

End of week 9 and I'm seeing just a few amber trichomes and most of hairs have turned brown so she'll most likely get chopped during week 10.

I went ahead and transferred this week I also decided to start up my out door project things are looking good clones are Adapting well to new systems

This was my first time with any of this so I messed up a bit by drowning the seeds in the beginning.. thankfully I caught it in time and raised them closer to the top of soil. The next day I started seeing my little girls sprouting. It’s now day 5 and they are looking pretty healthy .... I think? Let me know if you see anything I could improve on!!

Going into week 4. After. A transplant and at the end of week 3 they have seemed to recovered and are doing great. I’ve noticed that they “pray” towards the light so they seem to be happy. Using 1ml of cal mag. When I water. Ph. 6.1 -6.3 of 90%RO 10% tap. Added the second mars hydro on day 25. Update last day of week 4 day 28. The ladies ain't looking too happy. Being hit by I imagine Cal mag deficiency. Even tho I was expecting it because of the RO water. It seems I didn't add the Cal mag fast enough. Hopefully.the 2ml/L or Cal mag. Will fix it. Last watered 250ml each of PH 6.2 water on 8/28

Tag 70 - Ende der 10. Woche. Die Pflanze duftet mittlerweile extrem. Die Blüten duften cremig mit tropischen und fruchtigen Untertönen. Ich kann es kaum erwarten zu ernten. In dieser Woche habe ich nochmal gedüngt, werde aber die Tage mit dem spülen beginnen und die Pflanze auf die Ernte vorbereiten. Die Trichome sind fast komplett trüb und milchig. Die Pflanze bildet massive dichte Blüten, weshalb mir die Verfärbung einzelner Blätter am Headbud bisschen Sorge bereitet. Dies werde ich die nächsten Tage genauer beobachten. Wir beginnen nun mit der 8. Blütenwoche. An Tag 64 wurde die Pflanze gedüngt. Nährstofflösung: 2 ml/l - B-52 Advanced Nutrients. 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A 4 ml/l - pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part B 2 ml/l - Bud Candy Advanced Nutrients. 2 ml/l - Overdrive Advanced Nutrients. Davon hat die Pflanze 1l an Tag 64 erhalten.

Everything is looking fine with her, I've been dropping the temperature down, she is very healthy, putting some weight and full of sugar. She is close to being ready and honestly, I can't wait.😝

I received my Mars Hydro lights and they helped a lot. 2 TS-1000's. I supper cropped some of the 12/12 from seed and it looks like something trampled through the garden. Lol. The rest are really stretching now. I hope I the larger ones don't get rootbound. 🤞😁😁😁

Thank you to everyone for following this journey! The results were nuts. Honestly, I would've been happy with 40g dry as this is my first grow. I DEFINITELY did not expect this outcome which is insane. This gives me so much confidence in my future grows and appreciation for the companies whose products I used. So, now to the point - Dry weight - Top class buds - 176g, smaller buds - 32g, larf/leaves/scissor hash - 26g. To sum up - 208g of product you can smoke and 26g that'll go to edibles. First grow, 2x2 tent, 100w light, three-part fertilizer and cal mag - that's insane, especially because I was expecting nothing more than 60g and like I mentioned, I would've been happy with 40g. I even thought my scale was broken or something went wrong, I still can't believe I pulled 208g of bud. It took 117 days from seed to smoke - that's disregarding the cure. Seed to flower in 42 days. Flower to harvest in 61 days. 14 days drying. Thank you to FastBuds, I've sent them an email about the grow with some questions and got a speedy reply with some pointers towards the end of the flower. Also, I don't have anything to compare this grow with but I had 0 issues with pests which I was really happy about. I didn't have to spray anything on the plants, didn't have a single bug inside the tent. They mention on the website that NL is a very resilient strain so that might've been because of this specific strain. Spiderfarmer light did amazing too - 208g of bud from 100w light!. General Hydroponics did way better than I expected - there's so many companies with multiple bottles of nutrients that expect you to spend ridiculous amounts of money on their products while I got crazy results with just 3 basic bottles. Cal and Mag by Canna worked with no complaints. Takeaways - seems like the runoff pH doesn't matter in coco - I could be wrong but I struggled with coco pH from the very beginning. Regardless, the outcome speaks for itself. Maybe the harvest would've been even better with an optimal pH but in this particular grow, I don't think it mattered much. Before starting this grow I've done A LOT of research and it looks like it most definitely paid off! I was panicking at first because of the slow growth. The plant also had some leaf deformities and the color wasn't as green as I've expected it to be. It was stressful at first, I think especially because I was constantly comparing my grow to someone else's. This specific LST method where I kept rotating the main stem clockwise every day or two paid off as well. The canopy was relatively even and new tops grew crazy fast. The only thing left to do is to cure the bud. I had two 1.5L containers ready for cure/storing since I didn't expect to pull much but had to go acquire a few more "big boys" to fit all the product in, which is a good problem to have. I don't think that I'll be updating the cure here but the plan is to burp 2x/day for 15-30min each time for the first week and 1x/day for 15-30min the second week. After the first couple of weeks I won't be timing the burps. As of now, I've placed boveda 62% packs inside the containers to maintain a RH of at least 58% in the jars. About the Northern Lights strain - the smell hasn't fully returned yet post trim, but it smells like sweet fruits with a hint of black pepper. You can still smell a bit of pine/grass but I think that'll be gone after the cure. Buds are covered with trichomes, they shine like diamonds when you take a better look. Also, the buds look a little airy but are still really dense when pressed. The smoke - It's a tasty, relaxing high. I get why people describe it as night time smoke but for me personally, it grounds me a bit and I can enjoy it anytime. Also, it burns white ash :)) P.S. Obama runtz x gas tax sad to say both seedlings are super crappy so far. If it was not for the gas tax parent being the best flower ever then I wld just toss these but sometimes the crappy slow growing plants end up being super dank It's looking like a good start to a week the plants are strong they are getting to the point I can let the dried dry out completely. I'm thinking by the end of this week the plants will be starting to be sold. Last week I put all the plants into my bigger 2x4 tent with my medicgrow mini sun 2 the 500w version. Only a few of the plants were ready for that light. Seems like the only plants that really have good resistance and have a strong start are the weedseedsexpress.com seeds. Shout out to weedseedsexpress.com for the strong plants. I ended up putting all the plants back into my 2x2 tent with the 55w amazon light it has alot more blue light in its spectrum. It's kinda weird b4 I switched the plants to the 2x4 tent they were getting 220umol under my amazon 55w led then when I put them under the 500w light 25% strength about 50in from plants and they were getting only about 195umol in that tent but it was stressing most the plants. I assume a larger light has more side lighting hitting the plants. I think when useing larger lights it's good to measure umols from the top but also coming from the sides. I think durring seedling stage they only need about 50% the umols coming from the side the plants as the top is receiving. When I put the plants back in the small tent about the same umols as they were getting b4 the switch and they were still a little stressed. So for a few days I put the small light at the top the tent giving them 100umols for a few hrs then 130umols the rest the day.

Such Bittersweet Joy Added this week as ‘Flowering’ although technically should be harvested as I but I haven’t had a chance to weigh or anything. I will do that next week once trimmed etc. So finally cut them down on D89, it was a beautiful day outside and it just felt right. Although when it came to the deed itself I felt sadder than I thought I would for my girls and the time we had together. All 6 (I’m growing another 3 different strains but not included on this diary) are now hanging to dry in the tent. Temp -18 C; Humidity-60% seems to be holding steady with no tinkering thankfully. After the 3 days they have all dried noticeably, perhaps 4/5 more before trimming / curing. I’ve had quite a close look at most of the harvest and as far as this noob can tell, there doesn’t seem to be any issues with mould / bud rot. Fingers remain crossed. I did have one very profound moment this week... It happened as I was surveying the harvest hanging up for the first time. I could feel my mindset change suddenly from the constant paranoia over their health and overcoming my impatience to “I actually have a crap load of weed”. It was beautiful beautiful moment...
