Day 44 - Today it's time to say sayonara to the undergrowth as I clear away a lot of the fan leaves and make room to further shape the canopy. I took each of the 8 branches that I previously cuffed off to fan leaves, and tied them down into their final resting place - rounding out the final shape of the plant. Day 47 - Defoliation ✂️ - over the course of 3 days, this lady bushed out like woah - causing me to dive back in the the scissors. Ermahgerd! 😱 She showed me a ♥️!

Purple afghan kush 1...she has taken her purpyra color ... there is very little left for her to be able to taste this variety ... she has a smell of tender wood ... sweet smell ... she did not grow enough but if she dedicated herself to fattening her head ... purple afghan kush 2 she had about 15 worms ... look for them one by one ... she did not grow well from the beginning ... I do not know what happened to her growth and flowering ... her buds are small ... let's hope she tastes good ...

Day 60 - 09/02/20 Lovely smell coming from the blue cheese plant :) the buds have a very similar smell to the blueberry outdoor grown buds i smoked in spain a few years ago :) took me right back there mentally haha. Ive added a good feed of calcium magnesium, nitrogen, potassium and phosphorus the last few days as these are big plants and a few leaves have been yellowing over the last couple of weeks. Since these feedings everything is returning to normal and flowering is going fine. This is my first time growing in biobizz light mix so i was bound to run into some problems. Still i think im gonna get around an ounce from this plant. I think harvest is still 2-3 weeks out for this one but as its a favourite of mine im really excited! This week the plant gets swapped to bloom nutes but no until the end of the week so the next week will reflect that set of nutrients. Sunday Res testing at 320ppm, 5.8 PH. Growth is looking great, with more tops forming near top node as plant is forced down. All new growth is deep green. The lower leaves are still spotted but have not progress nearly as much as they have been recently. Adjusted PH to 6.0 to help with calcium uptake. Monday Res ppm 320, 6.1 PH. Plants new growth is healthy. LST'd top node so newer lower nodes can catch up for a day or two. Plant is starting to smell. Will let it the plant correct itself, then perform res change by the end of the week, to swap to bloom. Tuesday Res: 320ppm 6.1 PH. Lower nodes have filled in more, top node has mostly corrected itself. Calcium deficiency has slowed greatly but still present want to give another day or two of recovery from lst then will do the res change. Removed lowest leaves. Wednesday Res: 320ppm 6.1 PH Plant growth is excellent. Largest leaf is slowly showing more calcium deficiency. Flushed and swapped to bloom, orca, silica, cal-mag. 450 ppm 6.2. moved leaves around and rearranged so lower nodes get more light. Thursday Res: 420 6.3 adjusted to 6.2. Plant and root growth are looking great. Friday Res: 420ppm 6.18 ph, adjusted to 6.25. Plant and roots are blowing up with some stretching beginning. Smell is intensifying but still no pistils, yet. Saturday Res: 470ppm 6.3 ph. She's filling out really well. Daily photos show just how quick everything happens.

Englisch: Towards the end of week 4, the ladies were planted in their final 11 liter pots. They also tolerated it very well, especially because of the White Shark Mycorrhizae the plants had almost no stunt. I lollipopped all the plants on day 38 and will give them another week or so to recover before flowering. This is my first time with such aggressive lollipopping, so we'll see how they take it. Unfortunately I have to say that the PCG Genetics are not performing as well as I had hoped, whether it's my fault or the fact that the seeds have been in the fridge for over 5 years, I don't know. I hope that they will at least be convincing in terms of flavor, even if they are not the highest-yielding plants. Now I have to wait and keep my fingers crossed. :) Deutsch: Gegen Ende von Woche 4 wurden die Ladys in ihre finalen 11 Liter Töpfe gepflanzt. Haben es auch super vertragen, besonders durch die White Shark Mycorrhizae hatten die Pflanzen so gut wie keinen stunt. An Tag 38 habe ich alle Pflanzen gelollipopped und werde ihnen noch ca. 1 Woche Zeit geben, um sich zu erholen, bevor es in die Blüte geht. Ist mein erstes Mal mit so einem aggressiven Lillpopping, mal schauen wie sie es vertragen. Leider muss ich sagen, dass die PCG Genetics nicht so performen wie erhofft, sei es mein Verschulden, oder die Tatsache, dass die Samen über 5 Jahre im Kühlschrank lagen, ich weiß es nicht. Ich hoffe, dass sie zumindest geschmacklich überzeugen können, wenn es nicht die ertragreichsten Pflanzen werden. Jetzt heißt es abwarten und Daumendrücken. :)

During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned. Everything is going perfectly so far. The flowers have just started to gather mass. She doesn't smell much yet, but it's a very robust plant 💪

10/21 Removed a few leaves. Drying up nicely from flush. The smell is amazing!!! A hint of sweet fruti with a lot of armpit sweat. Will update Kosher tomorrow 10-22 The burn has ended. 🤣 They both doing so well and gettin chunky! .

In week 10 I have some plants, which have grown taller than the rest (canopy is appr. 80 cm high now). In order to not have to raise my lamp, I rather correct their height by 'supercropping' them. Supercropping is a technique developed by SOMA from SOMA_seeds and works VERY WELL. Instead of topping your plants (=cutting off the main stem) it is better to take the main stem between your fingers (appr. 15-20 cm form the top) and brake the fibers inside and then bend it downwords. This way the stem will stay intact and heal itself and you dont loose the main buds growing on it later. In the video above I show and explain how I supercrop a plant. The plants are now getting more and more into flowering and therefore I switch the dimmer on my SANlight EVO4-120 plants to 100% now (see in video above). The BIO NOVA nutrients are increased as well a little bit, so the plants can build big buds.

Man, I whipped these girls into shape! They got an amazing lolipoping~! its hard to sacrifice some of those branches but they look so much better for it and i hope it better allocates the plants resources! Did a big defoliation that really changed the way they look!

La più piccolina di tutte la Cherry ma anche lei super cime compatte ed odore fuori dal normale, in attesa di essere secca e pesata anche lei, resina ovunque anche per lei, non vedo l'ora di fumaria, nonostante attaccata dalle mosche bianche per prima ha resistito molto bene alle avversità esterne. Another week down, time seems to be flying by. Can we just take a second to talk about the smell. OMG the fucking smell. Intense, bursting with orange, it's like I'm being waterboarded with Sunny D! Every time I open the tent, the smell literally jumps out, kicks me in the nuts, throws me in the corner and then runs wild all over the house. It's more of a feeling than a smell - You know when you arrive in a hot climate from a cool one and you step off the plane to that wall of heat? It's like that, but on your nose :) Nothing dramatic to report this week. Just beginning to ease off slightly on N levels. The week's schedule: MegaCrop: 4.75g / gallon Bud Explosion: 2g / gallon Calmag: 0.5ml / liter E.C: 2.1 PH: 6 Not really much to do other than light defoliation just to keep the air flowing. Buds are getting nice and fat and she seems healthy, I can pretty much be hands off from here on out. Catch you all again in a week!

Hello growers HNY! Last leg of the grow now maybe35-40 more days give or take for this girl. She is growing her buds at a steady pace. She is getting smelly with a nice gassy smell starting to fill my balcony and house. Watered in some sugars and cal/Epsom today and will wait for he to let me know when she needs more.

Got a new light this week, it's basically a HLG 260 R-Spec except locally manufactured using the same Samsung LEDs. Big Mumma got her 60x60cm tent today and will go in there under one Viparspectra 300W blurple (130w from the wall). I trimmed her, super cropped her main stem and added a scrog net in preparation of flowering her in the next couple of days. Because my other plants were getting up past 75cm after 7 days of flower (100cm is my absolute max) , I decided to supercrop the canopy back down to about 60-65cm - it was pretty scary and I definitely broke the outer stem on some of them. Also gave them a good trim. Fortunately most bounced back strong the next day which are the most up-to-date photos you see (17/4/20).

For some reason it won't let me add smoke report or final dry weight. She had a yeild of 135grams dry. Unfortunately a stuff up with the light timer produced slightly looser, airy buds. Quality was ok nothing special.
