Flipped the lights to 12/12 for flowering on 01/25 Showing the white hairs to prove she's female. Tried to cut the amount of Nitrogen down to limit the stretch but she was still pretty hungry for it so I bumped it back up. She's pretty thirsty as well, watering every two to three days.. Stretched a good bit so far.. Did some light defoliation and cut two branches I thought were pretty weak to focus energy on stronger colas.. Pretty easy week and ready to see the buds start forming!! She's looking healthy and strong!!

My plant's got a name - Melanie. She fights against the pests. We suppose that the yellowish colour of the leaves are caused by them. As I decided to help her, I used the insecticide called Dursban. As a result, the pests' number has lessened but not totally removed. Do you have any advice for me? Thank you in advance.

Flowering Week 23: The Great Defoliation & Purple Hints Update: 17.08.2025 | Day 163 Hey Growmies, Week 23 was all about the snip-snip – gave both ladies a serious haircut and opened up them tight spaces. Airflow’s king now, and these girls are breathing easy. Here’s the wrap: Durban Poison – Cleaned & Gleaming After that defoliation, she’s standing tall like a proper little tree – clean stems, no clutter, just good light and air all through her core. The buds are frosting up with pistils that’s turning a soft, shy purple. Real pretty. Smell’s picking up too – still subtle, kinda old-school. Not like these new genetic gas-monsters. If I had to call it something? Flowery. Earthy-flowery. Simple. Honest. Blueberry – Tall, Late & Mysterious This girl’s still reaching – almost 2.20m now, though only three mains broke the 2m mark. Rest is hanging around 1.80m. Buds are forming slooow, pistils are shy. She’s blooming on her own damn schedule – way behind Durban. Started sexing at the same time, but now it’s like Durban’s sprinting and Blueberry’s strolling. Starting to sweat a little… if she’s too late, mold might sneak in when the autumn damp hits. Our Ghost Train Haze Automatic by Zamnesia started off very well, they had a good sprint since I added Alga grow and they had the chance to start metabolizing the powerful additives from Plagron. We quickly got to the first topping, as with all the others I decided to make a plant with the techniques and a tip. I'm not completely ready to give up the main cola. Applied Techniques - Given the numerous requests from growers, we decided to show you what happens when you apply the topping + Lst to autoflowering plants. It is very important to anticipate it as much as possible, autoflowering plants start flowering at about the 5th intenodo, you need to anticipate that moment to give the plant the chance to vegetate as much as possible. In general, when you see that there are two good side branches, you can do topping, they will go into veg as much as possible and you will have a split plant, I have seen very nice results, especially in warm periods when the plant tends to vegetate a lot, in winter we could have a bit of dwarfism but with a lot of resin for sure. I added a second layer of trellis and everything is looking nice and filled in. I will be defoliating and cleaning up the lowers on 11/9/18 (day 21) for better light penetration. I think everything is pretty much done stretching for the most part now time to start fattening up. Got some samples of Fish Sh!t organic soil conditioner from the local hydro store that claims to increase yield, flavor, and nutrient uptake so I will be adding it in the mix to see if I notice anything different.

Auto Overdose, bless her green heart, seems to be taking it all in stride. Though the growth's slowed to a crawl – just a measly 4cm this week. Not exactly setting any world records. And here's the kicker, folks. Still no sign of those flowers we were promised. Starting to think this "auto" label is about as reliable as a dame with a gambling habit. Maybe this dame's playing a long game, one that don't involve the fireworks I was promised. Had to give her a little tough love this week. Took out some of the deadwood – leaves yellowing at the edges, smaller branches reaching for sunshine they ain't gonna get. Gotta focus on the main event, right? Hello Diary. New diary, in the fifth farm I have three new residents, one Fat Banana and two Haze Berry. Both sides are from the Royal Queen Seeds. And this diary is dedicated only to Fat Banana. I always try to make a balance between sativa and indica, since I do creative work, I am a big fan of sativa, although in the evening, when my obligations are over, I like to relax with indica. So this time I planted two Haze Berry Auto that are predominantly sativa and one Fat Banana which is more indica. WHY FAT BANANA? Fat Banana Automatic stinks of tropical fruits and produces large, chubby flowers. The strain is the autoflowering version of Fat Banana, an aromatic classic. I prepared everything I needed for planting, cleaned the farm and changed the filter. I put Primaklima filter - PK 100/125. This time I decidet for AirPots, I also used them in the first two farms, BioBizz-Light Mix is ​​already standard on my farm and Easy Boost and Easy Roots Mycorrhiza Mix from RQS as organic nutrition. Since the first farm I use only organic fertilizers and for now I have used BioBizz and RQS organic nutrition. Also the humidity dropped so I put on a humidifier for a couple of days. 18/09/2020 Fat Banana sprouted, a day later from her first roommate Haze Berry. 19/09/2020 Watering. I watered with about a liter of water with regulated p.H. 23/09/2020 Watering. Regulated by p.H. at 6.4 and gave her approximately 1 liter of water. I think Grow Diaries made a great decision to put this germination week as an option, yet that germination process is just as important and it’s great to have room to write more and show how each of us does it.
