2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. These bitches won't stop stretching, and my choices are few...either I supercrop about 30 colas to keep them to at least 12" from the lights(already too close really), or I do the construction project that I've been dreading. It's really not that difficult a job to add some 1 x 2's and move the supporting "rafters" with eye hooks up another foot, and lose the space necessary to keep my evap cooler and/or dehumidifier...it's taking out all those freshly watered plants to be able to do it....maybe they wont have stretched anymore come morning and I can just watch for signs of light damage. I'm leaning towards the construction project, as it will be a challenge to find space for that many horizontally-oriented tops, and they'd be so much less photogenic if I did.😀 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights....kinda scary....about 10" from the tops now.. 2/12: I woke up to find these bitches stretched another few inches and they were within 7 inches of the lights!!! I quickly drug everybody out of the closet and undertook the project. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. I sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: They are still stretching!!! Damnit...they are now 12" from the lights again. I will wait to raise the lights until tomorrow when I feed them. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them, defo'd a little bit, and had to lasso the biggest one.. she was trying to take up too much space. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

She’s still stretching! This week I removed Voodoo Juice, Tarantula and Piranha, and added B-52 and Bud Factor X (never tried this one before). Since the princess loves this 2ml/L dosage for NPK nutes, I’ll not be touching that for the moment. That seems to be the optimal dosage for a sativa like this. Very nice!

Last week, first of flowering, was outstanding, I could water the girls regulary and the work paid off they stretched a lot and are looking super healthy. The girl right below the upper fan is suffering a bit with the shadows and is notoriously shorter than her sisters, I will need to rethink the air circulation for the next grow. Another concern of mine is their height, hoping they dont stretch anymore as the lights are already at maximum possible height inside tent and there is only 20cm gap between it and the plants.

This week I added 9 ml of nutrient per gal of water to prepare for switching to flowering. Grow 5 inches this week getting ready to start flowering. I lowered the light to eight inches which really had these plants growing faster and thicker.

The grow went great except for the males in the bunch (buying fem next time). Grew incredibly fast during veg which was hard to keep up with if I didn't manage every day. Very leafy and responded well to LST and topping. Fim didn't seem to give as good of a response as topping did. Had a accidental top of about 2 or 3 nodes and every branch underneath just about exploded. I kept the nutes in check (800ish) included with a 6/2 light cycle during veg. The 2 hour night cycles really gave them a chance to recover so my leaves looked pristine the entire grow. Flower she stretched more than expected but the last time I grew this strain was my first time and in dirt.... with a low budget light. The Buds are dense and compact so unfortunately there's no forearm size nugs after drying. Still curing but the "sample jar" is already A+ potency and doesn't taste horrible. 4 days of flush, 5 days dry hanging after wet cut, still working on cure +2weeks. The pictures don't do the trichomes justice, just covered.

Flower Week 9 Day 69 to 71 - 5/20 to 5/22 After a few extra days of dryout I chopped. I decided to wet trim while still on the stems. Lots of rain lately, and the drying process was a challenge but I overcame with fans around the hangers and more dry time. I dried until I could snap a test branch. Then I trimmed off the buds and placed in humidity controlled bags with hydrometers.

Week 7: 5x9 Main Stage Week 7 saw the four Chicken ‘n Wafflez, three Jelly Donutz and one Vanilla Frosting (all from Humboldt Seed Co.) really start coming into their own; soon it’s going to be a straight up jungle in the 5x9. Good news! The beneficial nematodes have worked wonders against the fungus gnat infestation; they knocked it down in a week, DONE! If you’re in living soil and haven’t invested in beneficial nematodes to prevent/combat fungus gnats, I’d say it is a must. I ordered from naturesgoodguys.com, received 5 million for total (shipping was the highest cost, so if you can order some other beneficial insects for your grow at the same time, do it, so you only pay for shipping once!) I’m thinking at the end of week 8 I’m going to flip to flower. That means I will need to take clones from each of the plants in the 5x9 this week, in case, later, any of them turn out to be keepers. As far as watering was concerned, they are definitely drinking more as they fill out these 30-gallon pots. Generally, the rule is 5-10% water by volume for living soil. I water every other day, generally, and for the most recent watering, I went ahead and gave a little over 2 gallons per plant. To make it easier to prep the water I just use 5-gallon buckets and do all my measurements accordingly for each bucket. I want to get in a better habit of filling the buckets for my next watering before I leave the grow, so the chlorine has at least 24 hours to off-gas, but sometimes I’m lazy and forgetful. It is supposed to be better for the microbes to let any chlorine off-gas… but like I said, it doesn’t always happen that way lol. I imagine if your water has more chlorine it could cause more of a problem for your microbes, in which case letting the water sit out for 12-24 hours would probably be more beneficial. Vamos familia, empieza lo bueno, y es que estás gorillas si han estirado, la primera semana de floración, aportamos algo de big bud para ir amoldándolas. Es una cepa que se comporta bastante bien en indoor, tallo grueso y bastante distancia entre internudos, deseando ver que flores nos da. ph controlado en 6,5 ahora va todo fenómeno, temperaturas ideales, humedad correcta 50 % , y pronto la bajaremos a 40 %. Hasta ahora lo que hay, próximamente nos vemos familia.

They completed third week of flowering. They still stretched 10-15 cm this week even though I dialed in level 9 on my light. Dripz and Grape Soda x Star Killer simply enjoys high intensity and can easily handle 900-1000 uMol range which I am experiencing first time. Humidity is still fluctuating between 52-55%. Temp is decrease to 24 Celsius in average which dropped the VPD to ~1.30 which is not ideal. I might consider moving dehumidifier into the grow tent and remove humidifier for the rainy next week. They received a big Lollipoping and Defoliation last night Day 21 but I may have to redefoliate Blueberry Muffin as it is still very bushy.

Hey Guys! Super excited this week! I've really been wanting to try growing outdoors, so I built a cheap hoop house! Got most of this stuff for the frame from Lowes under 300$. All the soil products I got from GrowGreenMI. Some really cool people out there. One thing I'm super worried about is drainage. Right now those holes are about 4 feet deep and they've got about 4 inches of water in them already. What's been cautioned is that, eventually, about 2 months in these plants roots will grow and reach the bottom and cause root rot to form. One of the biggest things I was trying to be wary of was causing root rot. This was also the biggest precautionary measure I took when mixing the soil. Adding the extra perlite, coco, and clay pebbles. Best advice right now is to build the soil up on the holes another 16 to 18 inches and possible stick a PVC pipe down to the lowest drainage point of the hole to allow some of that natural occurring water to evaporate. Any advice anyone has on it is welcomed! Making a compost tea for the soil outdoors, will probably put 2 cups in each RDWC bucket as well and let that do it's magic for a day or so before nutrient change. Raised the bed about 14 inches as well! All the seeds sank! Off to a good start! Lol

Harvested #2, 40/60 amber to cloudy trichome ratio, couldn't weigh wet 25/10/24 - Harvested #1, 50/50 amber to cloudy trichome ratio Haven't weighed #2 final dry weight yet, still in the process of trimming #2 final dry weight: 273.9g, just under 10 ounces. 02/11/24 - #1 is dry, haven't had time to trim, in jars until I have time. Estimate #1 will yield more then #2 #1 final dry weight: 351.8g, 12.5 ounces 625.7g total off both plants #2 has better bag appeal, smell is very floral and piney. #1 is not as nice looking in appearance but takes the win for smell, has a strong skunk smell, get a whiff of cat piss whenever the jars are opened as well. Was very prevalent in the final week of flower, kept thinking the cats had got into the room and peed somewhere. Overall happy with the results.
