Grow diaries limits to only one germination method, fyi I do keep the seeds in a glas of tapwater for about 24h and transfer them onto a piece of paper towel. Fold the paper towel a couple of times and make sure the paper absorbs a good amount of water. Throw the paper towel into a zip bag, zip it airtight and keep the bag in a dark closet/drawer.
2 days later all seeds had their first root about 2cm long. Time to transfer into their start pots.
Nothing special to mention here just letting them grow in the veg tent.
I’m using Plagron GrowMix so all required nutrs are already in the soil.
The past week I only watered twice, I want the root to look for any drop of water and spread across the whole pot.
I moved them into their final pot, 18L capacity.
I gave 0,5L water per plant with 1ml of RootJuice per 0,5L water.
Midweek update:
The pot transfer went frictionless and all 3 gh are growing well. I went and cut of the top of all 3
Watering plan:
1L plain Water per plant every 3-4days
All 3 GH plants got a haircut (Topping) at the starte of the week.
2 days later I started a simple LST holding the main branch down.
Even though the soil mix is prefertilised I added 1ml/L of Terra Grow into the water.
The soil I use is a mix of 30% old previous grows soil mixed with 30% Plagron Growmix and 30% Plagron RoyalMix
Update:
Just been watering every other day, no fertiliser just water.
A bit of a late diary update. Not a lot to say, veg phase is going forward. The Lemon Cheese joined the GH trio‘s tent. All 3 GH will receive a quite long veg phase, waitibg for the Lemon Cheese to catch up and reach a respectable size
Nutrients plan hasn’t changed staying with clean water for the whole week, I‘ll probably feed once nutrs per week only and plain water for the remaining watering days
What a long week, yes I’m a week late on my plant report. Keeping it super short, I got a massive gnat invasion even though my watering schedule is on the low end.
I used to water every other day about 0,5-0,7 L per plant.
To fight the gnats I went with a 5ml/L Neem oil solution ( is it a solution if the mix is heterogeneous? )
Anyway after a week of Neemoil the number gnats fell drastically.
A week later and the gnats problem seems to be resolved. I keep yellow stickers in the tent for the very few remaining; less than 4 got caught in 2 days.
I mesured the plants before the start gaining height about 40cm.
I started giving terra bloom and sugar royal every other day that I need watering.
Letting them grow nothing special worth mentioning.
Kept the feeding at 3ml Bloom and 1ml Sugar Royal per Liter water.
I don't add nutrients every watering cycle and can't see any stagnant growing. Most nutrients stay in the soil for 1-2weeks so I don't see why adding every time I water. It also helps keeping the ph value stable.
I pulled up the scrog and might stressed the plants a bit but 2 days later they seem to have adapter pretty well.
I giving water everyday now about 0.8L per plant. I don't overwater since I lost acces to the collection plates now that the scrog is set up.
Same plan 1 day water + nutrs the next day only plain water
Chill week nothing special to mention. I currently have more issue with this site stability than problems around growing.
Rant time!
I get it you live from the ads but seriously the aggressive half baked implementation makes me question you web designers or devs skills. Every week I get back here the site functions worse both on PC as browsing through a smartphone.
A short video for your enjoyment
Same feed schedule as the previous week.
0.8L everyday seems to be the perfect amount of water.
Update 23/07
I uploaded microscope pictures of the trichomes and the first amber ones are poping up
