Hello growmies! Welcome to week six of An Epsilon Adventure! Massive thanks to both Shogun and Royal Queen Seeds for sponsoring this grow! So here we are at week six and every one of these girls are at a slightly different stage, it is quite fascinating to watch them develop one after the other. Today I made the last adjustment to the light possible. I removed the adjustable hangers and affixed a carabiner which I tightly tied to the top of the tent bar. There is about 1.5 inches of space between the top of the shade and the tallest part of the roof of the tent. Plant 1 is already taller than this, and it looks like plant 6 and maybe even plant 5 are going to join it. It's a madness. I am sure you have already looked at the photos but just in case you do what I do and read the diary first... Here is my assessment at the beginning of week 6: Plant 1: Height: 1st (137cm) - what can I say about this ridiculous plant? Day 36... 137cm tall. I have had to raise the light to as high as it is physically possibly to raise it and it's still not high enough. She is done stretching now, she may add 3-5cm over the next week or so but I don't expect more than that, so her top of her main cola going to have to develop above the level of the light. Nothing I can really do, nothing wise anyway. What a monster plant. Maturation: 4th - early into flower - bud sites developing, pistils just starting to explode. Plant 2: Height: 4th (111cm) - this plant has been there or there abouts as the tallest plant for most of the grow, but she has topped out at 111cm. She will gain some during flower but not much more than a few centimetres. Very impressive plant, loads of bud sites, really big strong secondary branches. This one is going to be colas galore. Maturation: 3rd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 3: Height: 6th (95cm) For some brief days the tallest plant in the room, she peaked early and is now the "shortest" at "only" 95cm for this "50-70cm" strain. She is utterly dwarfed by four of her five sisters in just about every department, being quite a bit smaller even than plant 4 (although I have removed the most lower nodes from this plant). Compared with her sisters she is almost a runt... except that she is 25cm taller than the strain top-end average and matches the maximal height of the previous tallest Epsilon F1 plant I am aware of. It's not that she is small, actually she's pretty big for an Epsilon F1, it's just that the rest of the girls are on another level altogether. Plants 1, 5 and 6 are all absolute beasts. Maturation: 1st - well into flower - first shades of brown in some pistils. Plant 4: Height: 5th (98cm) although only 3cm taller than plant 3, overall she is a much larger plant. Her secondary nodes are the same height as plant 3. Maturation: 2nd - well into flower - all white pistils Plant 5: Height: 3rd (113cm) - one of the two thick/short girls who have grown at a similar pace all along - she is further ahead than plant 6 but not by much and I think she will probably exceed 120cm this week, though I do not think she will outgrow plant 1 or 6. Maturation: 5th - early into flower - bud sites developing. Plant 6: Height: 2nd (120cm) - my predictions were correct about this girl and her continued growth. I now think she might actually outgrow plant 1, which is quite worrying. Maturation: 6th - early into flower - bud sites forming - by far the least mature plant of the six. ### Week 6 Day 2 23:00 30/7 Photographed. Raised the light. Rotated the plants. Inspected, measured and reported on each plant. ### Week 6 Day 3 23:00 31/7 It has not escaped my attention that the plants that are more advanced into flower have darkened and have some burnt tips. I need to flush them and lay off the base nutes a bit. What a great week 10 days of growth I've had these girls have easily tripled in size the caution in the seed description isn't joking they have just pulled up shy of six feet I've got no more room to put the light up and when I run the hps I can only run it 3/4 power Or it burns the Tops

This week, I encountered a few issues after switching them to 12/12. The plants have shot up to an extreme height, and it feels like things are getting a bit out of hand! I'm trying to manage the situation using some super cropping techniques to control the excessive stretching. Thankfully, as we're now approaching the end of week 3, the plants are starting to focus on bulking up their buds. As you might notice in one or two photos, a couple of tops touched the panel in the last 24 hours, and I didn't catch it in time. This resulted in a small loss, with part of a top getting a bit scorched. We'll have to wait and see how it recovers. If anyone has any suggestions on why they've stretched so much, I'd really appreciate the insight! Catch you all next week!

Another solid week, I've upped the EC of the solution a bit to keep her going as she transitions into flower. Starting to get a sweet smell now and I see a few purple pistils mixed in as well. Things are about to get fun!

shes still drinking and feeding so I think ill give her more nutes in todays watering probably 3ml of b 3 of a plus the 2 ml of cal mag in 3.5 litres of water. She is strong smelling so you will deffo need to be prepared. I think she will be ready to chop by sunday next week

Today two of the plants going to stay one week without water. I cut them all leaves and we waiting for harvest. This is my first grow and now when i see those flowers i'm really dissapointed that auto they are so small. Xd Anyway better then nothing. The smell is really strong,can't wait to taste them

Baked Bomb autoflower grew really well. I had a issue getting a seed going, then some ph issues in vegging. Beside that she just thrived. Big dense colas with a cherry vanilla fruity smell. Loaded with trichromes as well. Can't wait to give her a try. Greetings fellow Green Thumbs! As promised, check out those roots :) I had to zip tie my light to the ceiling of the tent haha I can't seem to find the 1-foot extension set. Hopefully I won't need it. Still got about 5 inches of space left. Trimmed some more lower growth to open up the middle. Pre-flower pistil action. Looks good. Plant looks pretty healthy. Res temps hovering around 72F with constant white root growth. Decided to ramp up nutes to full strength (GH Flora 3-Part "Simple Drain-to-Waste" Schedule | Week 6 - Early Bloom minus FloraLicious Plus and RapidStart) <== in case I haven't mentioned already 👌 I think for my next run, I will run an airline through the net pot prior to filling with HEC and have it centered directly underneath the plant (Korinthius has been doing this since day one!😉) Thanks for tuning in. Buds are forming very well. Smell is nice and increasing. Been removing big fan old leaves so sunlight can penetrate all the plant, and concentrate energy on flowers. Organic fertilization very carefully to prevent nutrient burn.

End of the first few days of the transition. They all got a significant defoliation to open up space in the canopy for branching and the plants responded incredibly well to it. Plants 1&2 started to show immediate deficiency signs after defoliation and I upped the nute ratios by about 50%/liter with the Berkana. Voracious feeder and growers these are for sure. That said, their growth rate is phenomenal and the side branching is especially impressive and responsive to training. Veg. Maturity on all of em for the last week so it’s a fast growing strain all around👌. Well throw down the scrog net in a couple of days after we hack out the lower portions of each plant and take clones for all of em but the runt (#8). The clones will be flowered fast in the aeroponic cloner and pollinated for F3 generation seed. Bud characteristics on this run will then determine which clones get tested first based on best characteristics of the lot. So far this run has been incredibly impressive but only the bud quality will tell the true tale. Here’s hoping for continued good progress. ***Grow notes: stretching at about 1/2” per day over the last 3 days of transition. Side branching reaching enough maturity to start taking cuts. Minor deficiency signs post-defol. So increasing nute ratios on a slightly accelerated basis continues to be the norm.

Flowering day 18 since time change to 12 / 12 h Hey guys :-) The ladies have recovered well from the cold thanks to the heating mat and have developed beautifully 👍. During the check today I saw that despite spraying neem oil 3 times, there are still a few trips :-( . Now I've ordered nematodes again specifically against trips for leaf and substrate. I will use that immediately 👍. Watering was done twice this week, each time with 1.3 l (nutrients see table above) Next week I will remove the lowermost shoots so that the energy goes into the upper buds. Fresh osmosis water was mixed with tap water and put into the 100 liter tank so that the water can stand and I'll have enough next week :-) Otherwise everything was cleaned.
