Week 9 - Day 63 - 26/11/19 Im so grateful to be a part of this community and to be at this milestone so to speak :) had an amazing time growing this plant, thanks to everyone who had a look or contributed to my diary! Harvest was fun but that little 16cm tall plant stunk my whole house out of cheese when i started trimming her :) Added a few photos and videos of the harvesting, i got a little ball of hash off the scissors which i smoked in a bong and it was nice! very hashy! its taken about 2 hours to finish trimming but ive stored all the trim in the freezer along with the dwarf trim from my last diary :) im making cannabutter and edibles this week. really excited for that. So i hung my drying rack outside the tent beside the passive intake. temps are between 20-22c in the room so it should dry fine and im hoping the passive intake will drag the smell in and keep it sort of fresh in the room :) This diary has got me excited for my Quick One plant as its much taller and has colas like arms :D. Il update in 3-7 days when buds are dried and then il be updating a lot throughout curing :) Day 65 - 28/11/19 Still drying these buds :) they look much smaller now, i smoked a small bud and although its much drier than harvest its still spongy/sticky and stretchy when breaking apart so 2-3 more days drying i think. Smell is wonderful especially if you get it on your hands, its like tropical fruit cheese and the effects of thc are not as pronounced with this strain but i felt very relaxed, no muscle pain etc and no paranoia or anxiety. i havent had a clear relaxed headspace before bed in a very long time. Any 1:1 THC/CBD is a must grow, give it a try if you havent already, i couldnt have picked a better starter medical plant as i love a good old cheese strain :) And i made some cannabutter out of the 59g of sugar leaves i got from this diary and my first diary. il have to upload a few pictures of the process later and let you all know if the cannabutter worked in my brownies :) Day 66 - 29/11/19 Started curing and added a photo to show :) buds were at 59-60% when left in the jar alone for a few hours so i threw in my boveda 58% pack and started burping 5-6 times per day :) i could have cured for a week before adding the boveda pack but i had barely any bud in the huge jar so i thought it would be wise to add the boveda to prevent mold and to keep it curing perfectly! Day 67 - 30/11/19 Posted a picture of a handful of buds :) i smoked a few in a bong and had a joint and it left me nice and medicated! no anxiety no paranoia nicely locked to the couch and sleepy. perfect nightime smoke as it wont trip you out or mess with your head, just a nice happy little mellow buzz! Flavour hasnt really came through yet, not sure what to expect as im a newbie but its slightly like cheese/flowery/herbs. Curing is definitely helping every day! the smell is getting better, buds are getting really smooth and they look amazing also! really excited for the next few weeks curing :) Final Update - Day 69 - 02/12/19 Finally here at the end of this diary and i have to say i loved growing this plant. it was a dark green colour throughout growing and took whatever i threw at it. Buds are nice and dry and curing well. i saved the best buds until last and added a couple of photos of them and a video also! they are covered in trichomes and feel great. Not much of a smell from the buds and it tastes like a sweet floral cheese mixture. Im pretty couchlocked from a bong of this strain so im gonna end this diary here and go relax but many thanks for following along folks and take a look at my other diaries if you get a chance :) Peace!

At this stage, I’m using the full lighting setup I have available: 730 nm far-red — 5 minutes at the end of the day. 450 nm blue — 4 hours during the peak light period, starting 4 hours after lights-on. It was originally meant to help control stretching, but it arrived too late, so now it will mostly be used to support terpene production. There are some studies around that. 40 W lower canopy light — no idea what the result will be, first time trying it. Main 320 W light with UVA. UVB — 1 minute every hour. You can tell the light is a bit too much. The leaf color on #4 looks slightly faded, especially where she got too close to the lamp. But it does not look critical yet, so I’m not backing off for now. #3 and #2 have some marks from UV burn. No big deal — they should adapt. I’ll try running UV every other day for now, since I still can’t control it remotely. I finally found a 20 L reservoir for a reasonable price — just a plastic barrel. I installed it, it fit into the old spot, but I didn’t notice one important thing: the water level in it ended up higher than the pots and drippers. The result? 1.5 liters of runoff, plus another liter on the tent floor. As they say: “Physics, you heartless bitch.” Other than that, everything is fine. Runoff is different for every plant, of course. The girls turned out very different — each one doing her own thing. One has 6.8 pH in runoff, another has 4.8, but visually they still look strong. They are growing every day and already starting to smell, again, each one differently. My favorite is #3. At first, she gives off this minty, floury smell — not exactly cookie or dough, but slightly sweet. Then, if you touch the trichomes with your nose, it feels like falling straight into a berry smoothie. Literally gives me goosebumps. But she is the only one like that. The others are more like sweet, earthy cookies, with a distant mint/eucalyptus note and some gas in the background. The first little frost of trichomes has started, and judging by that, the finish should be pretty snowy. Basically, I’ve now brought my whole arsenal into play. From here on, it should be calmer: just watering and watching the buds swell. As for the nutrient mix: potassium is around 150 ppm, phosphorus around 80 ppm. I reduced nitrogen as much as I could — now it’s around 100 ppm. Calcium was lowered to 100 ppm too, mainly to bring nitrogen down even further. Magnesium is around 80 ppm. Plus monosilicic acid and Hesi SuperVit.

Started this week off strong. Decided to switch out the extra Grow Big for extra Tiger Bloom since it’s a lower concentration on N and higher P. New growth is a good color and no tip burning. Raised the lights and turned them up to 100% for the rest of flower. Sour Kush is starting to stink up the tent! NCH is looking like she wants to finish soon, but buds haven’t fattened up and trichomes are still a mixture of clear/milky. Feed pH 6.2, EC 1.8. Water pH 6.3, EC 0.8.

Intractor de 135mm, extractor de 135mm, filtro de carbón, ventilador "oscilofan", ventilador "clip fan", este ultimo ventilador se ajusta en la parte baja de la carpa para mejorar la circulación de aire bajo el canopy, 2 termohigrometros y una malla SCROG de kanovi a 15 cm de la maceta. 10/6 Didn't feed enough to get any runoff this time. I'm pretty sure they are ok for now, next time I'll start with water test the runoff and feed. Had to move the lights up a bit and I'm losing leaves. That is my fault for not being proactive. But it could be the strain. Fed them a bit stronger this time I put EC was 1.2 and pH was 6.3. this all started out per 1gal but the EC was 1.4 so I cut it with another 1l2 gallon. That final EC is what matters anyway. I will discontinue the grow big after this week. Tiger bloom should have enough. We only have about 3 weeks left. So the next feeding will be the last big one, then I'll lower it, then just water. I'll feed up to the last week so they can really fatten up on those last 2 weeks. I'll let them sit in the dark for 2 days before I chop. In the same tent I'll dry them in. So that means I'll need add a scrubber to that tent so they don't stink up the neighborhood. Good thing I think about that already. I have a little 2x3x3 tent I can dry them in. 10/8 I didn't have time to do a water push and feed so I just gave each 2cups of plain water to get em through till the next day. 10/9 I pushed about 2700ml through each slowly to generate runoff. Vermiculite is not your friend with this type growing, but I have finally totally reworked the soil into an inert substrate that only holds the roots. All organic material and most likely any trave of the herd is all but gone. Again, you need to go back to the beginning to learn how I fucked all that up and made a switch from living to basic hydro in the first few weeks. It had to be done due to the use of unprocessed soil. I knew better but thought the soil was older. Anyhow... I had suspected my ex was high because I've not been able to produce runoff. In this soil mix it only starts once you approach the 3 liter mark so after 2 light feedings and due to high EC before I wanted to push some water through for peace of mind and then feed. Results: BBA EC: 1.6, pH: 6.6 BCA EC: 1.2 pH: 6.6 The BBa was always a bit higher but these #'s are exactly what I wanted. I didn't feed yet. I'm going to let them dry for 2 days and then I'll feed. I believe that when the substrate is soaked it dilutes the nutrient solution and I want to stop any chance of channeling. I'll give each about 1200 to 1800ml of solution @ EC 1.2 -1.4 probably the last good feeding. It's light still but I'm still treading lightly with the autos. 10/10 Still too wet to feed, they should be good tomorrow. 10/11 Fed each about 2400ml : Tiger bloom: 12.5ml/gal Calmag: 3ml/gal EC: 1.4, pH: 6.3 no runoff. Still having to use the AC even though it's in the 50s and 60s out. It's working ok now. The issue is the damn dehumidifier. Really heats up the damn room. I feel like it will still work even if I exhoust all that hot air into another room. It's still pulling moisture out of the air, so.... I have to try it. It literally keeps that little room in the mid to upper 70's all by itself.

Had a ton of rain and wind this week, she handled it like a champ, much needed for everything, short lived though. Back to hot and Sunny for at least the next 2 weeks. Flowering is sloooowly coming along, feels like a lot longer this year, or I'm just impatient. 70/30 top dress of Gaia Green PB to AP this week, not sure how much she needs it. Some very minor ant activity after all the rain washed away the DE, reapplied light application. Haven't been doing any trimming or defoliating this week, barely even lost any leaves on its own, on 2 hrs of drip every 3 days still. She has to be the most maintenance free grow I've ever had. Already have tons of compost going to add to the Hugel next year. On that note, no idea how i'm going to remove that trunk and root system to replant in it next year, any suggestions? Wait till spring then try and dig it up?

Ganz ehrlich: Besser kann das Timing für LST kaum sein. Die Stiele sind noch weich, die Pflanze stark genug und mental 😄 absolut bereit. 🍃 Blätter Große, gesunde Fächerblätter – richtige Solarpanels.
