1/6/2020 - What a week! She is finally flowering for real and so I changed her nutrient schedule to "Early Bloom". Increasing FloraMicro and FloraBloom while decreasing FloraGro and adding Liquid KoolBloom. Despite their difference in height, they are the same distance from the light due to the awkward mounting of these lights on the ceiling of this tent. Currently sitting ~40cm from the light. This should allow room for the buds to grow up towards the light and benefit from the increased umols around 30cm. I also took the opportunity to remove select foliage that was more than 90cm from the light, mostly removing growth-tips and leaving the leaves to their transpiration duties. I still feel like they are crowding each other, but they do seem quite happy nonetheless. Thanks for stopping by the garden, and, as always, Grower Love. ~Spaz

Reaching for the lights. Looking strong.

Day 12 since flip. Not too much to report, we’re going thru the early flower stretch. Plants are enjoying the environment and are perked up. During this time we slowly ramp the lights up about 1-2% each day until we get to about 80%, that’s usually the max I can run this light in a 4x4. Slowly ramping up the light can avoid the stress caused by blasting your plants all at once. I’ve seen too many stress herms in early flower caused by too intense light. We will also begin to lower humidity by about 3% each week to increase VPD as the plants begin a higher rate of transpiration. We will also do a final clean up of the lower skirts again probably around day 21 (after they have finished their stretch) to ensure energy is directed towards top colas, and to ensure no funny business (herms) are going on underneath which is always a possibility with feminized seeds VPD: 1.22 🌡️: 78 Fahrenheit 💦: 60% 💡: 55% @ 20 inches (550 Ppfd) Just plain tap water until medium is saturated. Currently each lady gets about one gallon of water every 4 days.

12-13 Friday the 13th before Christmas. Kinda neat. Well lets see how I set up this ride. Watered around 2.5 l. Weird, to full saturate my pot, without run off AND to feel the bottom of the pot wet-ish. Anyways. 5ml cal/mag, 1 ml drops of balance, 3/8 tsp-ish recharge and 1 ounce EM1. Hopefully coasting and watching them swell. Scc still getting taller. Sheesh 12-15 Big plain water, I strike again 😂 Saw some yellow tips, at first I figured hungry, makes sense, top dress due. Let check the run off and see where we stand. NOPE, slight burn. GD!! Ppm 1580 ph 6.6. so now they both around 900 ppm. Bulk time. Coulda waited a week and then top dress. Maybe next time I can think and check my run off before I top dress. Even if youre not supposed to in organic. Ok rambling. 😁😂🤘 .

I was pleasantly surprised by the yield from these 2. Plant #1 (back left this grow) yielded a whopping 4.79 ounces, my 2nd biggest producer this grow! #2 yielded 3.57 ounces, which while the lowest of the 4, is still an extremely respectable yield for a single plant in a 4 plant tent! Especially one that received as little attention as this one did. #2 remained resilient the entire grow, however due to the placement of my tent received the least amount of attention/defoliation, which is consistent with its yield. #1 was more easily accessible, and while it did have cal mag & ph issues early on, still received significant defoliation and care, hence the larger yield. Overall very happy with this strain, I have 3 of these seeds on hand, so there’s a good chance you’ll see another Critical Orange Punch diary from me in the future! Her grow was super easy, no deficiencies and absolutely loved water all the time. Big stalk with large branches to hold her weight. She really enjoys heavy light and feeding ☀️💉. Recommend for an easy grow💯

Day 23 The third week of flowering is complete. Most of the height growth is finished. Time for a radical defoliation. The girls look great. Unfortunately, Kush has formed hermaphrodites on the flowers in the shade. I hope that I have removed them all. The lamp will be raised to 100% output in two stages.
