Hey now, I hope everyone is having a great week. It was a good week again for the 5 mainlines, I did some final LST to try and keep the mains level, and I also defoliated the lower leaves to improve the air flow. I am still feeding the same veg nutrients which is just amor si, cal mag, and maxi grow. I will start transitioning to flower nutrients tomorrow and I will gradually switch over to all over flower nutrients by the end of the week. The ladies are about 24" inches tall, but I do anticipate them growing some more before the stretch ends. I am pretty much done with LST at this point, I will just continue to defoliate as necessary and make sure they are enjoying their environment. Still very happy with the Spectrum X from Medic Grow. I am running her at 69% and the plants seem very happy and healthy. The heat and humidity are finally letting up in my region so it is nice to be able to open some windows and drop the temp outside the grow tent. Endlich Blütezeit! 🙏🍀🌳⛈️ Sie hat das Gewitter am Ende der Woche top überstanden, was aber nicht ihren tollen Eigenschaften zu verdanken ist, sondern ihrem Setup, denn sie steht in der Ecke der Terrasse und die Zweige werden von zwei Seiten von der Brüstung abgefangen. Tolle Eigenschaften; welche könnten das sein? Wenn schon die Vorblütenhüllen/Kelche einen solch starken Duft haben, wie wird die Dame sich erst parfümieren in der Hauptblüte? Kann ich daraus Parfüm herstellen? Der obere Teil der Dame, aus dem die Blüten entspringen, hat sich in den letzten Wochen stark verzweigt, dort werden überall Buds spriessen. Mehr noch als bei der Seven Freeze und der Serious 6 (die allerdings einen super Duft hat). Wenn die Buds so kräftig wären, wie die der Seven Freeze, nicht auszudenken was das für eine Ernte wäre. Hier werde ich dann abstützen müssen. Aber da ist ja die Erdbeer drin, die eine recht starke Struktur bringt und die Blüten fester macht und schimmelfeste Eigenschaften mitbringt. Was die Erdbeer in die Genetik eingebracht hat, werde ich hier erkennen können. Das wird die Nagelprobe sein, der sie sich zu stellen hat. Bisher sieht es gut aus. Allerdings sind die Spekulationen über die Größe nun vorbei. Da sie eher den Habitus eines Laubbaums und nicht den eines Nadelbaums hat, wird sie nicht mehr viel in die Höhe wachsen, sondern ihre Kraft gleichmässig in alle Triebe verteilen. Mid week check in with grow issue (mostly on the Future #1 and Future Island - other strains in my grow room). Will post for feedback. Held of on any nutes this week as I try to get my grow issue under control. Looks like either calcium or potassium or both. I initially bought some lime and added that to some well water instead of the RO water I had been using. I also fully flushed out all of them in order to ensure that I didn't have any lingering issues. A little unsure how it got to this point as I have used RO in past grows. My RO is barely 6.0 ph and the well is well over 7...closer to 7.5. I had not changed my diary's ph since veg since I think I had mixed up the reading between the RO and well water. Either way, I plan to feed them all well water and balance the ph to 6.5. Except for some of the leaves showing some stress, the bud development is looking very nice. I plan to ease back into a more reserved nute blend later this week. Trying to get the humidity under control but with the excess heat the humidifier gives off it has been a bit of a struggle. Going to set up the unit on a timer so it dehumidifies at night where there is less heat in the room. Plant #1 - Continued fattening of the bud locations as well as more turpentine development. Looking good. Plant #2 - no more stretching, bud development is coming along just lagging behind a bit.

Forgot to upload week 7. After res change, next day that polka dot pattern came on top leaf. Cut off with a bud (another location) that dried up prematurely. The 650 nutes got sucked up a lil bit compared to these sativas water intake. Every day 1-1.5 gallons. That in an 9 hr spand when im at work. Struggling with rh bc of blizzard than warm, then rain, then cold, then repeat. Put a dehumidifier that does my whole basement in the room to suck out the moisture so the new air intake can pump dryer air

[ Introduction ] Welcome to my first ever grow journal! I have been growing medically for the past couple years, documenting some of my grows on my Facebook and Instagram (@OnlyTomatoes) pages, as well as several cannabis cultivation subreddits. I've found that I do a lot of things differently than other growers, so I'd like to share a full cycle publicly in case I have the answers to somebody's questions. [ Updates ] Day 4 - Lights have been lowered to 18 inches off canopy, dimmed to 25%. They've recovered from both their transplant and their topping, new growth looks almost perfect. I'm going to keep the accidental sunflowers for a few more days and see if there's any significant difference between plants. They all received a foliar spray of neem, kelp, and a bit of calmag before lights off yesterday. I expect to be able to remove the remaining damaged leaves by the end of this week. Day 7 - Lights increased to 30%, C02 increased to 800ppm, getting ready for week 2 of veg. Fed today, fairly low EC (<1.5) blend of Silica, Calcium, Kelp, Molasses, and Tribus Grow in a mixture of R/O and tap water. Very little runoff at 1gal per pot. Will most likely foliar again before lights off with a light fish hydrolysate mixture to help with any nitrogen issues. Any dead or dying leaves you see are from pre-transplant, I'm just waiting a few days longer for the existing rootballs' ph levels to swing back to a healthy range before removing all that unsightly growth. I'm really not sure when I'm going to remove the sunflowers growing in some of the pots, I've seen no negative effects yet. I could flip group 1 into flower if I wanted, the canopy is level and beautiful, however group 2 will take a while longer to fill a canopy. Normally I would never allow pre-veg plants to have such obvious deficiencies, but constant hand watering led to some poor nutrient decisions on my part. They've been in their final pots for a few days now and were topped on day 0 of veg. I plan on lowering the lights to 18"-24" within canopy around day 3, I'm just allowing some extra time for the roots to really dig in. I've found that a batch of dirt that was used had sunflower seeds in it, possibly winter food storage from an outside rodent, so I'm debating how long I will let these sunflower seedlings grow alongside my plants. They do make a good cover crop with amazing root systems, I just don't think that really applies in pots of this size where plants can choke each other out.
