Grow Journal – Week 4: Solid, Smooth, Silky Week 4 is here and it’s been a solid, smooth, and silky ride! The OG Kush (OGK) and Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) are officially a month old, while the younger trio—AK, Super Lemon Haze (SLH), and Moon Beam (MB)—are at the 2-week mark. And let me tell you, things are popping off! OG Kush (OGK) OGK is bouncing back beautifully from the topping I did last week. She went from one main stem to two strong, sturdy branches, and I’ve been LST'ing them to shape the structure. Originally, I topped her thinking she was stunted—I almost gave up on her. But man, I’m glad I stuck it out. She's looking really solid now. I gave her a top dress of Gaia Green All Purpose and Power Bloom (since she’s been in soil about 30 days), and backfilled the pot since it was a little light on soil. Also did a light trim to remove some oversized fan leaves. Overall? She’s thriving. Gorilla Zkittlez (Rilla Z) Rilla Z is going crazy right now—straight beast mode. I did some LST and a bit of defoliation; her fan leaves were huge! She’s already throwing out white hairs, so flowering is definitely around the corner. Like OGK, I top dressed and backfilled her too. She’s officially in late veg/early flower, and everything’s looking fire. Super Lemon Haze (SLH), Moon Beam (MB), and AK The babies have exploded in growth this week. I transplanted all three from their 16 oz cups into 1-gallon pots. Used some Great White mycorrhizal fungi during transplant and wow—they LOVED it. The roots were wrapping all around the cup walls. Honestly, they’re almost as big as my older plants already. It's wild. All that stuff I learned from OGK and Rilla Z? I'm applying it now and it's clearly paying off. Temps and VPD are dialed in, and they’re thriving. SLH SLH shot straight up. It’s like a pure rocket. I’m debating whether to leave her be or bend her slightly for some LST. Either way, she’s got serious potential. MB For a seed that was cracked when I got it, MB is blowing past expectations. It’s outgrowing both AK and OGK at that stage. Like SLH, I’m thinking of just letting it grow upright with maybe some minor bends to shape the canopy. I'm really embracing the “less is more” vibe on this one. She’s been super easy so far. AK This one is giving me serious OGK vibes. She’s a little behind the others, but so was OGK—look how that turned out! I’m planning to top her in about a week. Something about topping small plants just feels right to me. Let’s see if she responds like her older sister. Reflections: Month One in the Books One full month of growing and wow—I’ve learned so much. And just to be clear—I still have no idea what I’m doing! 😅 I’m figuring it out day by day, learning from mistakes, soaking in content from YouTube and my favorite creators, and just putting in the work. Everyone says “plants just need soil, water, and light,” but if you dial in your environment and care, the rewards are next level—or so I’ve heard. These are all autoflowers, so it’s a race against time. I’m really just trying to keep up with what they need and ride it out to the finish line. Day 63: Another week passes and the girls are now building nice long Colas all over . Buds are looking good and smelling so pineapple/fruity now. Buds are looking nice and hairy without looking airy. #1 In the organic soil is overall the widest and area hungry lady but her sisters are taller . #2 has been quietly pushing her way through the middle position in the grow and has some nice fat looking buds forming. #3 Is a surprise for me as I wasnt sure it would make it this far. No matter what I do , the leaf continues to look awful but the size of her and her now forming so many stacking buds , I am glad I kept her going now !. I do think at least 3 weeks for these ladies before harvest but hope to give them room to swell when the space is opened up.

Day 14 of flower and all 4 plants have stretched over a foot in the last week. Should start putting all of their energy into flowering now. Looking really good so far. Really, really good.

My Skunk Apple Run plant is still a bit young, but I can see those buds starting to form. It's a bit of a slow starter, with buds popping up all over the place instead of a nice even line. We'll see if adjusting the light cycle or its food might help it along. I'll keep you posted on any changes. The past few weeks have been so beautiful, watching the plants grow and change. It's amazing how something so small and fragile can turn into something so strong and vibrant. Now that they're getting ready to bloom, it feels a little bittersweet. I'm so excited to see the finished product, but I'll definitely miss having them around while they're growing.

Great week , really frosty, stalky fat plants. Hard to tell from the pics but it's only buds packed in there, strong smelling and sticky. Shorter than I like but should give a great weight for the size

4/5: Took 4 cuttings from the shortie 4/12: All 4 are rooted and growing! 5/1: Transplanted from 1gallon pots to 5 gallon pots. 5/3: Decided to grow one of them in my tiny tent and the other 3 will go outdoors. 5/4: Took 2 of them outdoors under the 270w and sunshine. 5/6: Trained all of them today and fed some boomerang along with the kelp, molasses, big bloom, and silica. Foliar fed and took the last one outdoors. The one in the tent is really flourishing! 5/7 - 5/17: Excellent growth! The supplemental lights are making all the difference.👍 Did some more training on all of them early in the week. The one in the closet is spreading out nicely and budding up pretty quickly...but what's very cool is that all 4 clones outdoors are flowering?!?!? I sure hope they go ahead and finish rather than starting to revegetate as the days continue to get longer. Much rain for the past few days, but it let up long enough for me to install another 200w of waterproof 3000k LED lights a couple of feet above them. Very intense lighting, great bang for the buck. So now, I've got 350w of 3000k and 120w of 6500k in the outdoor garden. That's gonna have to do it, as I also am using 1400w in my indoor gardens, plus a/c..bills are getting ridiculous. 5/18 - 5/28: The clone in the tent is still stacking up really well. I guess the ones outdoors are too, but next to the seedling plants, they seem puny. Many buds though... Since they decided to flower early, I sprayed them all down with a product that is loaded with hormones and auxins and stuff that's supposed to retard vertical growth and promote branching. It's also supposed to speed arvest time by as much as a week. I hope they can finish before the summer solstice (June 21), otherwise they might try to reveg instead of finishing.. Hopefully it helps keep them from stretching so much that I'll have to supercrop them. Their mamma was a shortie, so they really shouldn't get too tall anyway. I also foliar fed them several times this week with something called MicroLife Maximum Blooms, Pow! They love the stuff! 5/28 - 5/31: I did some training on a two of the outdoor clones early in the week between rain showers, and foliar fed with Microlife maximum bloom formula. She was looking a little N deficient, so I assume the dry amendments have petered out. They were dry enough, so I top-fed her with another couple tablespoons of cavern culture and on the 31st. I gave them big bloom, tiger bloom, grow big, beastie bloomz, silica, endoboost, signal, humic acid, liquid kelp/fish emulsion, and liquid molasses. The indoor clone is looking awesome. I fed her heavily on the 30th. It just feels so strange that I'll be harvesting outdoor photos in June!?! That's it for week 8- 6/1 - 6/8: Early in the week I gave them about a half gallon of water with liquid molasses, cal-mag, silica, and beastie bloomz only. I foliar fed them a couple of times during the week, right at daybreak. I fed them on Saturday, the 6th..about a gallon each..beastie bloomz, microlife maximum blooms, cal-mag, humic acid, grow big, big bloom, sweet & sticky, and signal. They are looking very good..buds galore. The indoor clone got the same nutes, but on different days. She's also covered in buds, and they are beginning to fatten up.👍 6/9-7/4: Busy with other gardens, so not many updates... Indoor clone got to spend the last 2 weeks of her life in my closet under the quantum boards and UVB. I harvested and washed her buds on 6/28, let her hang dry and weighed and jarred her up on the 4th of July. She came in a 111g of cola and 45g of lower bud with only about 5g of larf. Nice!👍 She smells just like her mommy and has the same uber-dense buds. She was topped, so the buds aren't as mighty as the mamma's, but much more plentiful.👌 Outdoor clones: I had a massive spider mite attack, and during the same week, I had a grasshopper invasion...I lost a few plants, one of which as a FFT1 clone. I had just harvested my autos and my indoor clones from the closet, so I moved the remaining two clones in under the quantum boards. I treated them for spider mites several ways for several days and have given them much TLC. Hopefully their buds fatten up some more. They stanky, but they kinda slim... 7/11: I harvested the last two clones tonight. So sticky!!! I washed them and hung them to dry.

🗓️ Week 12: 2/12 - 2/18 📆 Week 2 of 12/12

Used hydrogen peroxide watered down to 1% to spray the top layer of soil as I had fungus gnats multiplying at a fair old rate. Since then the pH went up to 7 so I'm watering at pH 5.8 until the runoff returns to 6.2.

If you’ve got a bit of time and some ice, it’s really a fun thing to do. It’s also a great way to make use of every part of the plant

Morning of day 14- tops look dry but it’s just the very surface. They took a little longer than I wanted to dry out. The weather has been cold windy and rainy, not much sun lately, and we are still about a month away from our potential last frost date. Farmer’s Almanac says last frost date is May 30th or something crazy, even though the days are normally rather warm by now. I haven’t fed as of Day 14 because they are not dry enough, there is plenty of amendments in the pot, especially towards the bottom, except I will still spoon feed a little bit. I just rehydrated the tops as they were really dry at least 1-2 inches of the tops were dry, but the bottoms are still plenty wet, so with clean water in a spray bottle, I just lightly rehydrated the top a lil, so I might be feeding tomorrow for day 15, but I don’t know yet. Keeping the tent around 80 degrees Fahrenheit, and only about 25-30% RH. This helps me compensate for the lack of heat provided by the LEDs and help the plants adapt to a higher water demand. I haven’t seen the low humidity effect the seedlings, intact all the plants that grow outside in the hot bone dry climate LOVE IT! They were praising all last year. So to help keep me away from damping issues and to better prepare the little ones for the outdoors, I’m trying to match a hot and dry environment in the tent. With VPD levels way up in the red, I have yet to experience a negative impact. I have damped off enough plants in my life, it’s a lot harder for me in 60-70%RH to water the plants and get them to dry out fast enough in the tent with cold LEDs.

Going well, have a small light burn on one of the Skrilla colas..sad, but must soldier on. Still very frosty. Colors are developing in the hair now and there is a noticeable change in each cultivar. Nana Glue developing a red-brown hue and delicious Earthy, creamy terpenes. Skrilla is packing on weight and stacking, lowers are crowned in orange hair. Smells like Like Jolly-Ranchers. PLCG is packing on some weight, all the buds are getting that spherical addition. Also, some of the frost on the leaves, termed 'frost rails' by a friend, have begun to turn a nice pink color. Let's see where this grow goes this week. Maybe some color or weight. The smell is very good. PLCG is like a scented highlighter, very lemon. 🍋 The Skrilla is like a sweet and sour candy, quite delicious. Nana glue is Earthy and cream, very rich.

What a nice harvest. Fingers were like id been playing with super glue. And stunk of lemon orange + fuel. Sex on stems. Really nice harvest. I stripped thus one down a lot more than what I normally do ad it had a lot of weird shapes. And the HST points would of made for an uneven dry in parts. Took over 14 days to dry at 19.5c 50-55rh. 2 months curing. Yet, not much was left to show. I don't think it was THE BEST pheno. So I will do a hunt on this and grow 3 while prepping clones and will find that perfect one and grow the oranges off it. Fuck lemon is GOOOODDDDDDD LEMON & ORANGES SOOOOO FUUUCCCCKKKIIINNNGGGG

At the end of Week 3 this is how things are looking for the Alien OG, could be looking alot better. I will give them time to fully recover from the transplanting and topping and see how they get on in the next few week's.

Another nice, trouble free week. She has responded well to the ramp up in nutes and is looking good now she's been defoliated (again!). Seriously girl would turn into a hedge if left to her own devices. Having to really keep an eye on the humidity and empty the dehumidifier twice a day but it's doing it's job so...... can't complain! Have a merry Christmas all!

No changes in the program this week as there is no sign of flower still. Hopefully next week!

I have already said everything, in principle, I advise everyone to grow this variety, I got an amazing tree half purple with giant cones and a large harvest, I am delighted!
