Week 12 has started well. The flowers are still growing and the smell is still great :) I applied weekly nutrients on day 1 of week 12. On week 12 day 4 I added Z7 enzyme to my reservoir and I defoliated the girls to bring in more light to the lower canopy. On day 5 I decided to harvest two colas from Pheno 2. It seems to be finishing faster than the other phenos(mostly amber hairs although trichomes are not mature after closer inspection... I want to experience what effect I get from early harvest so to compare to later harvest. From now on I will leave the plants alone until they are all closer to harvest. 😅

~ FASTBUDS TESTER #2203 ~ Well friends, here we go on another 'canna-venture' together! The grow room has had a complete remodel and some upgrades done to it including brand spanking new 4x8 and 4x4 tents and a Trolmaster Hydro X controller along with a new Control Panel. This tester strain is one of six tester strains that FastBuds has graciously provided me with and I'm looking forward to seeing what this girl has to offer when she's grown to her full potential! One drawback of 'testers' is I have little to no information on it other than its number and that it's an autoflower... 🤪 But, it's ALWAYS a blast growing them for me because not knowing a lot allows me to just concentrate on the essentials: Light, Environment, Water, Nutrients and possibly a bit of LST... not complicated, just basics like keeping a constant temperature and RH in the tent at a level that gives a good VPD, watering when almost dry and maintaining proper light levels according to their stage of growth. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ ~THE SETUP~ ~Initially seeds were lightly scuffed, then soaked for 3 hours in 78℉ distilled water after which they were transferred to moist paper towels laid out in a Jiffy Pellet plastic starter tray with lid. Underneath the tray was placed a Mars Hydro Heat Mat with Controller that was set to 78℉ where they stayed until their tap roots emerged. ~Planted into Jiffy Peat Pellets that were hydrated with distilled water warmed to 78℉ with a 7.0 ph. ~Once roots emerge from the Jiffy Pellet they're transferred to their fabric pots. ~Grown 100% organic in a 4g Gronest fabric pot and a 3g fabric pot by Wraxly filled with Mother Earth 70/30 Coco/Perlite medium and initially amended with Dr. Earth 4-4-4 / Earthworm Castings / Dr. Earth Flower Girl 3-9-4 and Coast of Maine Stonington Blend Organic Plant Food 5-2-4. ~19/5 light cycle for the entire run with supplemental UVA added during flower. Lights are controlled by a Trolmaster Hydro X controller set for a 15min Sunrise/Sunset simulation. ~Top dressing every 3-4 weeks with slow release dry amendments and Earthworm castings. ~Straight water ph'd @ 6.2-6.8 when needed and bi-weekly Compost Tea's. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 12/15- Here we go into the second week of veg for the FastBuds Tester #2203 girls and they're on a roll! When I checked on them today they both were still moist so I let them go until I check them tomorrow. Basically at this point in the run all I have to do is make sure they don't dry out, fill the humidifier and watch them grow! 12/17- Yesterday I watered them both and increased the amount to roughly 0.25g each of de-chlorinated water with 3ml/g of Botanicare Silica Blast (added to begin to help strengthen their branches) and then ph'd to 6.4 @ 74℉. I've also increased the output of the HLG 650R's to 35% which equates to about 230w at the wall which, of course has raised the temp's in the tent so I've also begun to run the A/C unit in the grow room which is keeping the temp's now at 75℉ in the tent. The RH is running around 75-78% RH giving a VPD of .67-.74 which I'll take! 😁👍 Other than what I've mentioned above, all I did was fill the humidifier with distilled water and watched my girls grow! 🤩 12/19- Today I watered them each with 0.25g of de-chlorinated water to which I added 3ml/g Fish Head Farms Fish Sh!t and 1 tsp/g Unsulfured Molasses which I then ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I'm now watering through the bottom, filling the drip pan and letting the plant draw up the water into itself. I am also watering from the top, but only just enough to moisten the medium. They're really starting to take off now, a sure sign their roots are beginning to get well developed. Their 4th set of leaves have emerged and as they get bit bigger I may give topping, one or both, some consideration... we'll see! 12/21- Today I watered them both with 0.25g of straight de-chlorinated water each which was ph'd to 6.3 @ 74℉. I gave about 3/4 of it into their drip pans so they can draw it up into their medium, the rest I applied to the top of their medium just to moisten it. They're both doing fantastic with good color and vigor! They're not very tall and judging by their leaf shape and overall structure I'd say they are definitely leaning towards the Indica side of the gene pool! I'm holding off on deciding whether or not to top them, but will make a decision in the next couple of days! Week 4 was a very active training week for Apple Gelato. The plant received two topping sessions combined with FIMing to significantly increase the number of main growth tips. In addition, Low Stress Training (LST) was applied to spread the branches horizontally and create an even, open canopy. Despite the intensive training, the plant handled everything extremely well. Recovery was fast, with no visible stress, drooping, or slowed growth. New shoots started developing quickly at all topped and FIMed nodes, showing strong vigor and good genetic stability. LST helped expose lower sites to direct light, improving airflow and setting the foundation for a symmetrical structure. Leaf color remains healthy green, internodal spacing is tight, and overall growth is compact and controlled. This combination of 2× topping + FIMing + LST has clearly prepared the plant for a bushy structure with multiple strong colas going into the next vegetative weeks.

It's week 14 total and week 7 of flowering (maybe week 5 for WR and Caramel. I thought they were autos and it took me about 2 weeks into the Blueberry beginning to flower to realize they were photos 😂. I sacrificed the 18/6 on my BB auto and flipped them to 12/12) everything is going pretty well considering I know not wtf I'm doing, lol. Tips are all crisp obvious some sort of nutrient burn, but hey it is what it is, they still look pretty decent If I might say so myself for my very first grow of anything ever. I cranked up the nutes to we exactly what the bottle says now.....1 tsp/gal of the green macroflora 2 tsp/gal of the dark red micro stuff, lol and 3 tsp/gal of the Bloom, they fattened up a bit since, I also feed them just plain p.h.'d water. I need to get a lope, I'm pretty sure the BB has got to be reaching its peak. The once all white colored hairs or pistols are now about 30 to 45% amber colored. I'm not sure if you can see them in my pictures but if your reading and care to help out do you think it's ready?

Well it's day 77 one looks ready and one looks like it could go a week or two but I dry in the same tent so if one goes down they both go down not sure what to do yet. But this will probably be the last post before harvest gonna give them a couple mare days I think. I got fast buds apple strudel seeds I'll be getting started as soon as this is done.

On day 56 my setup got another light. I took the Lumatek out and changed it for a second Mars Hydro TSL 2000. Now i can use more space in the tent and the light is spreaded way more even than before. I now got about 1000 PPFD at the canopy top and around 800-900 PPFD square. They are running at about 80 % atm. Each side is seperately dimmable and i can set the ankle relatively individually for each plant so i can better react to the different grow heights, which comes automatically with 4 different strains. She got a defoliation and another place to ripen up the lower part of the plant, just to see if it works. She has done her job as a crash test dummy extremly well, what a pleasure 😍

I live in Brazil and it's almost year-round summer. Always had problems with temperature when growing in a closet and HPS with the internal closet temperature during the summer time hitting almost 45 degrees celsius or more! So this time I'm trying to grow in a Fully Working Fridge to keep the temperature down. I brew beer as well so this fridge has a temperature controller and it keeps on 20-23 degrees celsius. Using a 500w equivalent LED Panel. For the air flow and exchange, the idea is to use a Carbon Scubber to constantly filter the internal air, a CO2 tank and an air de-humidifier. The carbon filter will also reduce the odor and the fridge door is well sealed. I guess it's like a big sealed grow room with air conditioner, but smaller. -- Timelapse video shows the vegetative state, with an automatic plant flowering (not super lemon haze)

Day 49. They’re starting to lean pretty good. Staked and tied a few branches. Still drinking normal, expect them to slow down this week. Ended up defoling and top dressing with small amount of craft blend, Kashi, and build a flower on like day 47. Plucked one or two sacs off the diesel donuts. Tall, purple jug life pheno in the loudest with sweet burned rubber nose. Ready to see how these girls finish.

Well I done switch these bad babies to flowering I am so happy I'm still stuck on why one is so big one is so burnt and the other one is so thick anyways I love them I still have to figure out this light I think it's too powerful I might be burning them but I would love the thing Mars Hydro and exotic seeds yeah baby

UPDATE: STARTED USE FLAWLESS FINISH AND UPLOAD A VIDEO The plant is simply a beauty. The sugar leaves are beginning to turn whiter, and the edges are beginning to turn purple. Yes, she has a bit of burn, but she has kept her foliage so that she can sacrifice her leaves in a trap. I'm really looking forward to the smoke report, as it already seems to have a high THC content. With the plant we definitely have a bag of tropical sweets with a nice fruity fermented touch of sangria 20August I've started using Flawless Finish. It binds the remaining nutrients together and is supposed to round things off. I've already decided on this because I like it the way it is.I did the back test and the effect is already stronger than the other grows I have done.Wizard trees is definitely a breeder for high THC levels. Unfortunately, the little one also has thrips and therefore needs to be harvested soon, as I would like to reuse the leaves and thus protect the doja from worse. Thrips aren't that bad; they only eat foliage, not roots or buds. Therefore, it doesn't affect the harvest, but the doja still needs its leaves.
