all in all it was an ok grow... it was the 1st time using kind soil. i have now upgraded to 1000w light and another tent ... so i will see how my next grow goes

(Days 15-21) (Day 21) Everything is looking really good this week. I got my MH hooked up and dimmed to 250w. Plants are responding very well. Not a single sign of yellowing and plants are all a nice healthy green. I covered up the transparent solo cups with some newspaper as the roots are starting to pool around the bottom of the cups. I’m going to transplant everything into 2gal pots with my inoculated 50/50 coco blend sometime next week. There is a nice layer of mycorrhizal fungi starting to coat the surface now. Blackberry breath #1 is still looking oddly deformed still but I am concluding it’s genetic. Going to be trying this ‘Boogie Brew’ tea stuff in the next few days as well. I’m pretty sure the leaf discoloring I saw that one day was from using unstable RO water. I am making sure to stabilize all water with rain/snow/brita before watering. It seems to have cleared up in a just a few days of proper water. I didn’t get around to getting a c02 canister this week but I will grab it at the same time I get those 2gal nursery pots. I’m shocked at how well the air pump is helping the bbb#2. It is always the perkiest plant in the tent and despite being a runt, it’s already outpacing most of the others in terms of new growth. I guess air is an often overlooked factor when growing. Hopefully the coco blend will help get things a little more aerated when I transplant. Been thinking I’m going to just veg until they all show sex and then flip them. (Day 17) I gave my first pest/mold prevention spray today. I then raised the light all the way up to the top of the tent for a few hours. Plants responded well and no spots, burn ect. I’m also going to give my first top dressing today. I’m using my new organic dry amendments scratched into the surface of the solo cups with some added promix as a layer of mulch. I don’t want to see any yellowing at all in veg this run. I fucked up hard last time so I’m going to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

11/7/23 - Day 1 - OK so big day going on here. It's time to get this little Skunk#1 seed into some lights! (really it's Day 9, but were going to let it sync up to the app) Above are photos of my best attempt at showing how this system works. First thing you want to do is to run the Leaf software and do the startup procedure. Selecting the Start grow button kicks off step by step instructions on the setup process. There is a video of showing the automatic water fill coming from the RO water setup I created. Normally this is setup for hose water from your house. I want to make sure im using RO water for obvious reasons. I will say, when you are done with you grow in this Leaf box make sure you clean it well. Its been a month since i cleaned it and had i not cleaned this it would take you much longer to start your new grow. This is another grow that's starting out smooth! Ill keep you updated as I move along! 11/13/23 - Day 6 - Shes got her 3rd set of leaves just starting to grow. Her roots are not out of the net pot, but i can see them coming out of the rockwool. Hulkberry has some definite issues. The leaves are damaged, so I'm concerned that the plant will be unable to carry out its normal functions. If the plant can't properly photosynthesise, I really don't know how she'll make it to harvest. I had phosphorus excess in this grow before, and I think that's what's happened again. I think the excess of phosphorus has prevented the plant from being able to uptake Calcium, Magnesium and others. 8.5.25: The plant was watered with 2ltrs of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.2. I added per litre; ♡ 1/2 TSP Mega Crop Part A ♡ 1/4 TSP Sea K(elp) PPM: 890 PH: 6.2 I decided to feed each plant separately and mix it up in the 2l jug. I gave an additional 2l of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.4 with the following nutrients; ♡ 4ml Ecothrive Trace ♡ 1/4 TSP Ecothrive Biosys PPM: 636 PH: 6.4. Day 21 of flower (day 72 since germination). The plants have continued to grow at, but the vertical growth slowed down mid week, and I think it is done not. One stem on the middle plant grew past the lights, again, so that stem got supercropped a second time. I found a couple more pollen sacs on the right plant on Tuesday, but I think they were just missed on the first round of plucking, so I removed them. I haven't seen anymore since and I've been checking the full length of every stem. I received a roots organics dry amendment sample pack from Aurora so I top dressed each pot with 1TBSP of Phos Rock and 1TBSP of Super Phos Rock (I only used both because I didn't have enough to feed a full dose of just one). Each plant was also fed 700mL compost tea, today, that was brewed for 24 hours.

Day 78 - Starting week 12 and I think for sure she’ll get the chop this weekend. Still has quite a bit of white hairs but she’s foxtailing quite a bit and there are no more clear trichs in there, a few amber but no clear. Hopefully letting her dry out and a little cooler temps, she’ll pop a bit more amber before she’s chopped. Day 79 - Nothing new today other than there’s a few more amber trichs mixed in there. I’m still planning on giving her the axe this weekend unless I see some significant fattening but with the foxtailing, I just don’t see that happening. Day 80 - She’s just continuing to foxtail more and more so hoping she won’t be to crazy by this weekend cause I’d like her to get a little more amber in her before chopping. Day 81 - Just waiting until Saturday or Sunday to chop her. I might let her go longer if I don’t get much more amber trichs but she’ll probably come down this weekend instead of foxtailing even more.
