Chance of a Lifetime Greenhouse Seeds Competition Wonder Pie 8th May 2020 When I first saw that Greenhouse seeds were running a Worldwide competition I was amazed because Australia does not normally get included in such things, especially involving Cannabis. But I knew straight away that this was the chance of a Lifetime for me so I applied straight away. When I got the email saying I was in I was over the moon with happiness. The Contest will see the winning Diary/Grower win a trip to Amsterdam for two with accommodation in the apartment above the famous Green House smokeshop. To be in the running I simply applied to grow one of their chosen strains with their own Nutrients (greenhouse feeding) I picked and was very luckily accepted to grow the "Wonder Pie" strain alongside the Greenhouse feeding Bio Feed Range. Here is a little bit of info on the "Wonder pie" strain courtesy of Seedfinder.eu Wonder Pie, sweet, fruity and petrol aroma It is a wonderful hybrid between two really powerful lineages, Wedding Cake Cannabis Strain (aka Triangle Mints: Triangle Kush x Animal Mints) and OG Kush (Chemdawg x [Lemon Thai x Hindu Kush, Pakistan)]. It produces tall plants with a vigorous and branchy development with flexible but strong branches. It develops an ideal structure for applying pruning and moulding methods such as topping, LST or Main Linning. It also offers good results when cultivated in SCROG. These optimisation techniques help both to control its size and structure and to maximise the harvest by enhancing bud production. All feeds will be from the Greenhouse feeding bio nutrients range, that came with the seeds for the purpose of this competition. To win this would be a dream come true as I have always wanted to travel to Amsterdam ever since watching Cheech n Chongs Movie Still Smokin back in the 1980's as a teenager. The first steps to starting my grow are preparing my grow area, which involves a thorough cleaning with bleach. Then I set up lights and fans etc and test it all to make sure everything is working. Then on the 4th of May I recieved the seeds in the mail and immediately began to soak four seeds in some tepid water overnight before transferring them into a moistened piece of paper towel then into a ziplock baggie for another 12 hours. From there all germinated seeds will go into the rockwool cubes for about a week before being moved into the final grow out pots. From there they will veg for 7-8 weeks before I flip to 12/12 and flower them accordinly. As of today (8th May 2020) I have 3 healthy seedlings from the four seeds I soaked. So now they are up it's officially Game On 🙏 I am still waiting for the Greenhouse Feeding to arrive but thats ok because I won't need it for about a week. I chose 12 Litre Fabric pots because of the height limitations in my Grow tent (need a bigger one but cant afford it at the moment ) as soon as the powdered feeding arrives I'll mix the required amounts straight into the pots so they are ready for when I transplant the seedlings into them. Plants are looking ridiculously dank rn. Buds r coming in nicely. Lights on 11.5 hours on and 12.5 off I believe that will speed up flowering. I also gave it 36 hour lights off period b4 I started flower. As u know I gave it a top dressing first day of flower. Well it’s been 3 weeks so I gave them a feeding of coconut water. And not the cheap stuff either. Next week I’ll give it organic fish emulsion, then molasses, and last will be a half molasses half honey mixture. I’ve had no issues mixing sugars as I believe different sugar sources have different benefits. Based on what I read about each of them. Molasses is supposed to be the best. Everyone says that. But I believe coconut water will battle that. Who knows maybe when I grow outdoors I’ll do an experiment and test which sugar will work best. I’ll even test a couple plants with mixed sugar which my hypothesis is that that one will work best.

All Girls matured and went to drying this week. I will include an harvest report once dried.

Boom! We’re officially rolling into Week 2 of flower and things are looking dialed in across the board. PPMs are sitting right where I want them, pH is locked in, and the PPFD is tuned to a T Since the flip to flower, she’s been getting 3L of water each day, and she’s been taking it in perfectly with no signs of stress or runoff issues. I did a heavy lollipop and defoliation about 4 days ago—cleared out a bunch of lower shoots and leaves under the canopy, plus some fan leaves up top that were covering bud sites and couldn’t be tucked. Airflow is much better now, and light penetration has definitely improved. The magnesium deficiency I had earlier seems to be under control. New growth is looking lush and vibrant. She’s back on track and praying hard toward the light. Really looking forward to Week 3 when the buds start forming and the magic kicks in!

Week 6 and another feeding bumping up the PPM to 1250 ph. 5.8 3 of the 5 are about where I expected them, Think Different is really dense not a lot of stretch on that one. Baby Blue Dream is in ICU for the most part. I laid off the food and water until it dry's out a bit more. Takeaways this week... This is my 1st attempt at autos and 5 different strains at that. A lot of opportunities for learning here. watering feeding transplanting all play into my current results. The Green Buzz nutrients are amazing the sample kit I got is just enough for the 6 autos. I should finish all of them by the end of the grow the size of the bottles were just the perfect amounts for each phase VEG, TRANS & FLOWER with regular watering's as needed in-between feedings. looking forward to some more stretch and filling in the Scrog. I just gave it a 2 gallon flush of PH 6.p water in each pot the remainder in the pan was wicked up the next day hoping for more roots to spread. We removed the lower 2-3 leaves that turned yellow and started to dry. Maybe dou can call this a defoliation Like the first time, Ztrawberriez is a blast to grow. It already has a sweet, berry flavour. Soon she will be ready...we can hardly wait, but she is fast af

Smell Increased a lot this week and got that real sticky-icky-ickyness to the touch now it’s like glue :) and smells fire… So fruity and sweet took a few more fans off possibly almost all apart from a few lol got a bit aggressive with her so she paid me back by giving me hives or whatever the bumps on my arms I always get are haha 😂 but yeah to allow the lighter green lower bits to get a little More light for the last few weeks 💚🔥💪

Things are looking good. I'm in a bit of a time crunch so I think I'm going to harvest early. Sometime this week probably, just shy of 8 weeks. Cool strain to grow. Very interesting calyx formations at the crowns. I dried a couple small buds and threw them in my vape a few days later and the terpenes seem great. Can't wait to see how it tastes fully cured. I'm going to wash and decarb the buds before curing them, and I've never done that before, so I'll post that here too. Thanks to everyone who read and commented! Happy growing!

Semana del 12 al 18 de abril Cada día más bonitas. Estoy feliz porque como hay menos humedad ambiental, hay menos humedad en el indoor. Incluso llegando a 43% de humedad, así que me confirmo. La temperatura suele andar por 24-26 grados Celsius así que bien. Tenía unas 10 hojas dañadas por la mosca negra, así que el 12 de abril apliqué el insecticida tec fort (foto del producto en la semana anterior). Lo apliqué a las 17:00 hrs y a las 22:30 del mismo día no vi ningún bicho. Dentro de 5-6 días volveré a aplicarlo igualmente (1ml por cada litro). Al menos dos de las cuatro plantas están tomando otro color, así que me conformo.

Hello Gromigos, well, I've lost the count of days with hell hell temps, always around 95°F. Cookie is starting to stretch but internode length is incredibly short. This pheno is perfect for indoor growing in a large pot, a single but great plant. I've trained to low main bud obtaining an homogeneous canopy. Now branches are full formed and fat. Incredibly hybrid vigour. No need for fertilization, maybe 1-2 shoots later, in blooming. I'm watering them every other day with 2 gallons each, little by little, trying to avoid past's run mistakes.

Updates: -4 weeks of flower complete. -La Niña branches are filing in nicely. -Gorilla candy continues to underwhelm. Runt phenos,lots of long skinny branches. Looks good and smells good though. -Misnamed the gorilla candy pheno that looked different from the 2 runt phenos. The 3rd one is actually a Gorilla White widow from expert seeds. Explosive veg, big stretch, nice buds, could use more frost early on. -Looking forward to the La Niña the most ( haze x black widow) -Started using coast of Maine liquid fertilizer liquid kelp and liquid crab fertilizer. 9/6 Plant #1 is throwing out heavy pistils. Plant #2 is stretching alot, she's also rrcovering from the magnesium lock out/ph issues, but she isn't throwing out pistils yet. 9/8 both plants are still stretching surprisingly and both plants FINALLY HAVE PISTILS! slightly excited/relieved. On a side note, our weather has been on the offensive recently. Weve had towns evacuated due to forest fires and public safety warnings about high winds. Came to see my plants completely toppled over on each other. Thankfully they were in pots and they looked fine. 9/10 still stretching and filling out, shooting thick pistils, cant wait to see her in a couple more weeks💚🤘

at the first day of this week i started the flowering stage. Use for the first time the scrog net, hope well... Runtz is amazing, super fast and one of the strongest strain never tried *.* I continue with veg stage fertilizers. Plants drink a lot now :)

Decided to switch grow lights August 10th to Mixjoy. I felt as though the mixjoy was brighter and I’ve had great results previously with it. Growing. Going to string up some branches and defoliate over the next week. Continuing to feed to run off. Not much new to report, some leafs are yellowing and some are drying out. Not sure what’s going on with that. Plant still seems healthy. I should have transplanted to a bigger pot before flower imo. Newer light increased running temps to around 80 with light on. Give or take a few degrees. Feeding PH has been 6.0-6.1 I make up 4 Gal of nutrients in a 5 gal bucket. Plant takes about half before run off.

plant is growing slowly but nice. I moved it down to facilite it to reach the water and it's faster now. I will change the water solution too.
