About that time !!!!

Progress and Observations In week 6 of flowering, my plants are displaying significant development. The buds are swelling noticeably, and resin production is increasing, filling the grow area with a rich aroma. Weather Conditions and Plant Health Unfortunately, the weather in Germany has turned to consistent rain over the next five days, which is less than ideal for the final growth phase. To protect the plants, I've moved them into the greenhouse full-time. This controlled environment shields them from adverse weather conditions, ensuring stable conditions for continued growth. Pest Management I'm pleased to report minimal pest issues thus far. Nightly patrols continue to manage the snail population effectively, supported by lettuce leaf traps. There have been no signs of spider mites, aphids, or thrips, providing relief. With the ongoing rainy weather, I remain vigilant against potential snail problems. Low-Stress Training (LST) Update The plants I trained with LST have responded positively and continue to develop well. I did some more LST to maximize light to the colas. The canopy remains even, and the bud sites are receiving ample light, allowing for a slight upward stretch to maximize bud growth during these final weeks of flowering. I try not to cut off any fan leaves because I think they're here for a reason. I like to tug them behind the steam or the side branches. Only if the leaves show significant signs of illness or pest then I remove them. Looking Ahead As we move further into the flowering stage, my focus will be on maintaining optimal conditions to maximize bud development and resin production. I am also diligently monitoring the humidity levels in the greenhouse, as this is crucial for preventing mold growth. The plants are looking promising, and I’m excited to see how they progress in the coming weeks. Update 03.07 What is noticeable is that both untrained plants are entering the full flowering mode faster than the trained ones. Have you had similar experiences? Update 05.07 Today I checked the girls and found the Banana purple punch with the top leaves starting to curl down. After asking the community I found out that everything looks like a starting nitrogen toxicity. But only on that plant. Seems kind of strange that the others having no issues at all despite having the same amount of nutes. I decided to treat the symptoms a once so I flushed with 5l PH water. The first runoff was a little lower (5.5 / EC 1.09) but not really concerning. Afterwards I give the plant the half amount of the tripart flowering scheme (with added CalMag 2 ml/l PH 6.2). Let’s Go Day 81!!!! This week went real great 2 Ogreberrys are hanging to dry and also the Bruce Banner is too after there 48 hr of darkness! The 3 other Ogreberrys began flush on Monday so finish out this week of flush and one more week of flush after that an they will get the chop too! Week 5 topping and clean up and used top for a clone

I been away from grow diaries several weeks now, quick video for documentation, mute sound in video please, Andie Capp is looking so tired between 11am-1pm. As well am feeding as needed. 2-3 ounces 4-5 times a day for Yao, and 0.5 - 1 ounce 2-3 times a day for Andie.

DLI @ 45. 1.1 VPD. Broke stem on plant#3 (Supreme Runtz) gave it a splint and will observe.

Put plant into tent a few days after it sprouted. Is now being fed by aeroponic system.

D71. Week five of flower and the girls are simply doing their thing. I scouted the plants today and found thrips on the second girl. I was hoping the lacewings would have gotten them all by now, but no such luck. I'll give them a week before ordering another batch. For some reason, the thrips avoid the first girl. Visually, there's also a clear difference between the two girls, with the first girl being darker and having more buds. ------------------------------ D73. I brewed a short (6 hours) compost tea today consisting of worm castings, kelp meal, neem meal, humic and fulvic acid, rock dust, biochar, and molasses. After the brew, I added homemade Bokashi juice, which lowered the pH of the tea to 6.6. Each girl got 2.5 liters of tea (5% of pot volume.) I also did another light round of defoliation, down low on the plants. ------------------------------ D75. Each girl got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.5, with 5 ml of FFJ. The plants stretched SO MUCH after flipping them into flower that it's challenging for the light to penetrate the canopy, and it's pretty dark further down. I bought some LED grow light strips and installed them in the tent to provide additional side lighting. It's only 36 W of extra lighting, but I hope it will help to develop the numerous buds down low. I put the lights on the left side of the tent, around the first girl, since she has a lot more buds, but now that it looks like the concept works, I might get another set of lights for the right side of the tent. ------------------------------ D77. We've reached the end of the fifth week of flower, and all is well in the tent. Ahem, almost all since I still have the thrips to contend with, BUT I just put a bunch of Cucumeris predatory mites in the tent, so the war rages on. A friend suggested adding white cloth below the plants to reflect more light toward the lower buds. Sounds plausible, but I didn't have any fabric, so I went all ghetto by simply putting strips of kitchen paper on top of the scrog net. Not the most fantastic reflector material ever, but it's what I had at hand. Plus, it's easy to work with and costs next to nothing. I doubt it will make a big difference, but even a slight increase is still an increase, and I could see a visible difference in the amount of light hitting the lower canopy. Finally, each plant got 2.5 liters of water @ pH 6.3, with FFJ and Bokashi Juice. ------------------------------

Week 4 plants have made alot growth with dark rich green leaves.. have not had any nutrient deficiency pop up, these plants are amazing Im impressed with the resilience of it… defoliated 2x once at the start of week 4 an end of week 4 they quickly had new growth… I accidentally snapped a stem while lst barely holding on on one side an within 24hrs it had completely healed with a small scar.. probably gonna veg for one week … excited for this progress!!!

Things are really starting to smell strong and getting fun. Seeing some frosty Trichomes. Excited!

MY WEED LOOKS LIKE WEED! It's sticky to the touch. My fingers smell like chocolate and mint and dankness after defol. The trichs are absolutely insane and the flowers are now legit buds. 😍 I know everyone that's done this before is like "... yeah that's how it works." but as this is my first time .. you know.. *fart noise* 👆 Jog on. Having a random fall heat wave this weekend but humidity is steady around 45% during lights and no more than 60% in closed tent with new outtake fan. Staying heavy on the defol to keep problem spots like leaf overlaps and light blockers at bay since the RH is still a few points above where I want it. I've also found that 16 Hour dark periods, in my personal observation with no other experience, seems to have a positive effect on the plants. A few times this week I've had plans at night and had to dark tent it early since I still don't have a timer. It's almost like my plants are fast forwarding through flower with crazy trich and full buds by start of Week 4. Little Danny on the left is way more of a classic structure with 9 long main colas along the outside and smaller sites through the middle. Big Arnold is a super stretched out net weaved nightmare of single bud sites with a 4-5 traditional colas but most of the flowers are very spread along the net, I definitely experimented more with LST on Arnold. I remember looking at them both when I got them and said "I bet little Danny will end up with a higher yield" and if those colas go Superfudge Judy Bloom on me, it just might. The starting to notice the smell in the room and are they ever sticky 😍 Thinking about Backbuilding/Bud Topping, does anyone have any experience with it? Seems like a tried and true method to get a better looking bud. I'd love to experiment and do some side-by-sides for future reference. Also been looking into my next grow, going to try some @Fast_Buds Autos and probably order through UpperCanadaSB, will take any advice on that as well! Thanks for stopping by. Deliciously grow, without problems - super fine and satisfactory result. Unfortunately I forgot to weigh it wet, but I will update with the dry weight as soon as it is dry - but a good bet is that it has been about 200+ grams wet and there will probably be about 50 grams dry. I have added some videos from before and after, the top cola was cut - and some close up photos 😘 Update: 42 grams in total 😍 She taste so damn nice, super great !!

So we're going into the 2nd week of flower and everything is looking good and healthy. Definitely ready to see what the flower looks like on this cross. My diary won't be complete in time for the contest but I'm still stoked for this grow.

21st oct. Week 9. Just about to change to 12 12 and start them flowering, going to take 8 clones as well.
