Day 37 12/12 everything was fine managed to kill of all the thrips no.sign of them now but another problem occured yesterday after lights off. Today i find a few leafs that are starting to yellow so i decided to up the feed ppm also the buds are still looking kind of small to me... are they going to fatten up yet or am.i being impatient or is there something wrong dont know wheather i should worry or not lol

Another week of Veg gone and trying to understand feeding.... My last grow (the one on the balcony) i overwatered at the start so I made sure this time I would not make the same mistake. I dgave a bit more root booster and found some organic Molasses that i added to the 1st feeding. I know its now considered 'food' but more as an activator of microbes in the earth but I'm sure it can't hurt right? Quite some growth this week, so tried to LST it down a bit... Buuuuut I'm not happy with it, I can forsee spacing problems (should have maybe planted the seeds off-set to one side of the pot to get a better growth going....I'll probably undo the tie-down and just let it grow.

June 29: should start growing quickly here soon. July 1: last 30 days has been 1.5 C cooler than historic average, and is more than 3 C cooler than last year. Big heat wave in eastern Canada, but not here this year (so far). July 4: some growth going on above ground but she should pick up speed here now with nice weather and Week 4.

💀I ended up going offline for a few weeks because of a lot of work, but here I am to update the diary. 👽Im going to harvest tomorrow. His sister was harvested last week, with a total of 70 days since the sprout. This one has 62 now. I think i over waited for the first one and i dont want to miss timing with this one. Shes smelling GOOD, and most of her trichomes are cloudy. So lets go to the final observations. I lost time with the LST and this affected her growth. Was a good experience to see it happening in real life, anyway. Learning is my first objective here. 👊 I didn't flush neither stopped feeding her as i want to see what happens, but today i gave her last watering with pure water. Got trouble with aphids n the last week, and maybe spidermites too. Was using only Neen oil but now considering i should increase the filtering at my tent windows, as i cant close bc its too hot here. 😢 So wish me lucky guys, im feeling good about this one as its looking and smelling really good. 😍 Ill be back to give the full harvest feedback later, thank you all.

Agora já estamos com ela na oitava semana de floração, ela continua se desenvolvendo em novos pistilos e cada vez mais se aproxima de um fruto maduro. Hoje ja posso dizer que o resultado seria bem satisfatório, se fizesse a colheita, mas vejo que ela tem potencial pra estender o ciclo até a décima semana. Estou me programando para colher daqui oito dias.

(Days 21-28) (Day 23) I like the amount of stretch I’m seeing on practically all the plants. I'm going to lower the light at the end of the week to stop the stretch. The more stretch they get in veg the less I have to lollipop or prune down the road. Makes lst easier too. I’m going to try topping this week. Last time I topped at the 7-10th nodes and didn’t get the best horizontal growth. This round I’m ready to give everything 3 or more toppings, stay on top of training and defoliate much less. This soil looks insane. I should have added a thicker layer of oats because it’s starting to look proper. (Day 24) Got my stuff from the hydro store today and amended my soil again. Next visit I will be grabbing a P booster like bat guano before I enter flower. Today, I got the 2gal pots, some primo worm castings, 5-2-4 insect frass, 0-0-22 langbenite, 1-0-3 alfalfa meal and an exhale co2 bag. Guy at the store said it gets his 4x4 tent 1000ppm+. It takes a few weeks at least for it to start putting out any amount of co2. I got the room sealed and two fans bowing. I fed a compost tea with a little bit of each dry amendment, BSO dry compost, boogie brew base and worm castings aerated for 24h. I diluted it to about 850ppm which still might be a little high. (Day 25) Opened a bottle of EM1 that was improperly stored and it exploded all over me and part of the tent. I wiped off the plants but there is still specks here and there. Cleaned it off and sprayed with method1 pps. (Day 26) Topped 9/15 plants. Will do the rest next week once I see a little more growth. 5 of the bbb’s I started 6 days after everything else so they are still quite behind. I’m going to push the transplant another few days until they recover. Going to start lst after transplant. (Day 28) Transplanting into 1.6gal pots that I thought were 2gals tonight... Depending on how many females I get, they will be going into either 3, 7 or 10 gallon fabric pots. Growth is looking solid so far, zkittlez and the 3 WW’s are leading the pack in terms of growth speed and cotes are yellowing out. I’m pretty sure what I have is a zkittlez bagseed but there is also a strong chance it could have been from some shitty Canadian biker weed. I accidentally misplaced the seed so it’s possible it got mixed up and I germinated the wrong one. Judging by the rapid growth I’d say that’s a fair bet. Biker weed is notoriously fast growing. Either way it won’t be hard to tell once they’re in flower. The white widow is probably going to be a breeze. I’ve heard that’s why it’s so popular too. It’s just a hardy rookie strain with good resistance, decent quality and above average yield. A sure investment. The blackberries are lagging behind but I’m sure they will blow the others away in terms of quality. One of the tunas looks great and the other is a stubby runt. The stubby runt I currently have in flower is killing it right now so I’m not writing it off yet. Can’t wait to see if the tuna god produces some nostalgic smells. Tuna strains are still super popular on the Canadian black market. I plucked the first set of leaves that were starting to appear on each plant. These branches almost always turn to larf and they're so small I can't that stressing the plants out at all this early. If anything, the zkittlez and white widows need to slow down a bit anyway. I’ve been doing a shit ton of research over the past year into what causes weed and cigarettes to have black ashes/poor fire holding capacity. Smoking black weed drives me crazy because it’s all the legal and black market have nowadays. The cigar industry has numerous studies on the cause of ash color and burn rate and apparently it has to do with the ratio of mineral content in the soil/water. Soil/water that is high in phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and other heavy metals will burn poorly and reduce to flaky black ashes. Whereas soil that has higher levels of potassium and calcium carbonate have thick uniform white ashes with no streaks. Calcium carbonate (wood ash, biochar) can also prevent heavy metals in the soil making them unavailable to the plant. I’m discontinuing my “Organic cal mag” as it is full of chlorine which I did not realize when buying it. I’m going to be pretty cheesed if that stuff ruined the burn of my current flowering crop. My dog also found and destroyed my Alaskan fish fertilizer so that’s being discontinued for now too.

Had to tie up branches to take the weight of these heavy ass nugs, can’t want to taste this smell orangey as f**k! 🔥🔥🔥 started flush midway through the week.

Smooth growth

Flowering day 70 since time switch to 12/12 h. Hey guys :-) Finally the time has come . The lady was harvested and hung upside down in the dry tent 😍. Before that, she stood in the drying tent in complete darkness for 2 days and the large leaves were removed. The small leaves stay attached during the drying process so that they protect the buds and allow them to dry more slowly and evenly :-) . In the dry tent, the temperature is 18-19.5 degrees and the humidity is 54-58% 👍. In this environment they are now allowed to hang for 10-14 days before they are fine-tuned and trimmed clean by hand. then after trimming they come to ferment for 6-12 weeks in dark jars with bobeda packs 62% to keep the perfect humidity. After a few weeks, the Boveda packs 58% are used so that they can slowly dry out :-) . Of course there is one last update after trimming. Until then, I wish you a lot of fun with the update. 03/01 - Day 57 All the girls have their pistils changing colors, buds growing by the day, (B) has has very sweet aromas coming out, & (C) is more earthy and peppery. Hi all , hope we are all well and safe?. Day 7: Lets start the update with the new configuration. Using the new sp3000 on tje recovering mft tank cant ne useful at all so i have now put the 2 L.O.S FFT girls directly under this and used the sp250 as an extra side lighting to them too. It still catches the NFT and FFT#8 with plenty of par but the main focus can now be put into creating big framed lower plants with more than enough light to assist. After the stretch period ends , i am going to defol and get them in their final position for bud stacking. This will open the canopy even wider for light to penetrate. FFT#8 is nice and green but still tiny even after a week of stretching. Her root damage and recovery have ruined any chance of really seeing the best from this tester bit as ssheje looks so happy , i will continue with her. FFT#9 Is a monster in comparison to #8 and with only 2 weeks and a bout of root rot between them is impossible to believe. Her limbs are solid under the canopy with a great structure to build buds on. She measures approx 2.5ft across her width now and has a lot of very healthy stacking growing tips. Each one is like a mini version of a plant itself and should produce some very nice buds stacks. She is giving out a weedy fruit smell now too and along with her hairy tips , looks close to her stretch ending. I saw the bract hairs and odd white pistil from around day 3 of flipping which show their quick flowering genetics so well. Seeing other FFT#9 grows gives me a great boost to what this strain can do. For a new grower it would be simple to grow and very responsive to care and training too. FFT#10 This lady is the only dark , broad leaved girl in thebhouse amd is growing with longer node spacing tjan the others . she want to keep going vertical and has really shown some growth during the stretch desoite her supercropping. She will benefit from the defol at day 21 and be opened up more to catch all her lower growth too. She looks and feels so healthy up close and hwr lower pot growth is solid for a foundation. 03/20/2020 Week3 flower did light defoiliating and watering(plain water). I did notice some sweet citrus aroma just slightly orange but not to much, (tangie) is too citrusy to me, hope more blue berry hazy flavor comes out but I'm sure it will be great 03/22/2020 Top 1/2 inch soil is drying out quicker she be getting thirsty! Visual//. underwatering a bit - since flowering could of raised it a bit - I am still feeding only 3 gal only for ALL eight and a half basically small plants _ genetics looking superb still and health is booming still!! Casually been trimming couple smaller leafs on bottoms that form- very reserved trimming though - also Low stress tugging them every night to help lower branches into nicer isolated grow areas - babying them during these phases, watching for pests

Day 64 - Beginning of the Final Flowering Week 🌱 Hello, my grow friends! We’re entering the last flowering week, and it looks like I’ll be harvesting the plant around Friday, which will be roughly Day 68. 💭 Harvest Decision: It’s a tough decision because while the buds are still growing, the trichomes in the middle and lower parts of the plant are already about 80% milky and 10% amber. I’ll keep an eye on things and plan to check the trichomes again on Day 65, two days before harvest, to make a final decision. 🌿 Trichome Considerations: I have a feeling that even after cutting the plant and hanging it upside down to dry, some nutrients might still move into the buds, potentially causing them to swell a bit more. This is something I’m curious to see. 💧 Humidity, Water, and Temperature: As I mentioned in my last update, I flushed the plant yesterday, just before the start of the final week, with 4 liters of water. This should help flush out any remaining nutrients, and I likely won’t need to water again before harvest since the pots are thoroughly soaked. The humidity and temperature are holding steady between 52-58% and 20-24°C, which I find ideal. I’ve got my exhaust system and fan running continuously to ensure no mold develops. 📸 Final Updates: I’ll check in again with an update just before harvest to let you know how things are looking.
