Totally forgot to change the status to flowering haha. 8 weeks in, i see some cloudy trichomes but hope that they will grow a few weeks more for a thicc harvest!

Quick update on the strains I have growing at the moment. Its a mixture of Photoperiod and Autoflowering strains. For the Photos I have Cream & Cheese CBD (Seedsman), Critical+, DinaMed+ (both DinaFem) and 3 Cherry’s (Elevator Supply Co). For Autos I have NYC Diesel (Barney’s Farm) and 3 BlackBerry’s (FastBuds) This week I’ve seen lots of nice growth overall, but especially with the photoperiod plants. The Critical +, Cream & Cheese CBD, DinaMed+ and Cherry all look great! The Barney’s Farm NYC Diesel Auto is also looking good! The Cherry is starting to look good too and one of the new seeds sprouted. One more Cherry seed left so this time I tried putting the seed in a jiffy pellet then putting the jiffy pellet into the soil. We’ll see if that helps get one more going. The first 2 Blackberry’s are stretching and developing bud sites. These 2 are a bit small, but the purple in number 1 is coming in nicely. I think the 3rd will be the champion of the bunch and outgrow her big sisters. My fault for trying to get a head start by a few weeks on the first 2 in less than ideal conditions. Live and learn. I’m going to keep all plants growing so everyone can see the good, the bad and the ugly. (I bet the ugly still gets me high as fuck!) 😜 New tents coming soon too. Day 106. AK is going to end, i start to see ambers. Will push 8 more days. Watered today, one more left and then chop. Sweet smell is everywhere from her, very nice ! Mars TSL2000 has far reds integrated, so i expect a bit more coat ;) Great light ! Happy Growing !!!

Week 4 Day 2 - Moved into hydroponic system from Soil compound, where they will remain. Looking healthy and strong thus far. Week 4 Day 3 - keeping an eye on stats and root growth. I've increased the pH level to 6.5 now and added in luqid silicon. Week 4 Day 4 - Roots starting to hit the water, plants looking healthy and strong still.

D42 - Today is the first day in the sixth week of veg for #2 and the fifth for #1. It has been six days since the first topping for the first girl, so I went ahead and topped her for the second time. I kept a couple of clones from her this time since she is so vigorous. I also had planned to do the third and final topping on the second girl but knew that I had to buy some more soil staples first. However, this morning a red warning showed up in my Corona warn app. It's the first warning I have ever gotten, but I'm triple vaccinated, of course, and I was wearing my N95 mask for this five-minute exposure, but I want to act responsibly and quarantine for a few days, just in case. So I improvised with BBQ skewers and some electrical tape. The skewers won't hold that well, but the branches are still small, so it shouldn't be a problem until I can venture out again. The cover crop was getting a bit unruly again, so I cut it back again. Finally, I gave both girls around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.3 and added a couple of qtips with peppermint oil to deter pests. D43 - I gave each girl about two liters of compost tea that I started brewing yesterday. A bit soon, possibly since I watered them only yesterday, but I needed to feed the girls in the other tent, so these girls got some as well. D45 - Aaaaaaaaaarrrrrgggghhhh! Thrips have found their way into the tent. Lately, I've noticed some discoloration on the older leaves but haven't thought much about it. Today though, it was much more pronounced. I took out my loupe and microscope, and sure enough, I could see thrips larvae. Ugh. I ordered some predatory mites immediately to help with the problem, but they won't get here until a few days, and I want to start fighting the infestation as soon as possible. So, I went out shopping and picked up some pure alcohol, chili flakes, and a spray bottle. After soaking the flakes for a couple of hours, I strained the mixture and prepared a 1:10 solution with distilled water in the spray bottle. I removed all older leaves that were affected most and then sprayed all the remaining leaves, taking care to get them soaked on both sides. This chili tincture is nasty stuff, though, and I was coughing like mad, and the snot was flowing like a spring-river. Next time I'll wear a mask! I also sprayed the clones outside the tent and the Chocodope girl in my other tent, just in case. The Colorado Cookies girl is in flower, though, so I couldn't spray her. She has no sign of infestation, but I'll treat her as well with the mites when they get here. D47 - I resprayed the girls yesterday with the chili tincture to ensure I got to all the little critters, and today, the predatory mites arrived. I hung one sachet on each plant, and I hope that's the end of the little buggers. D48 - The end of another week of veg. The second girl thrives after her third topping, and I will do the third and final topping on the first girl in a couple of days. Once that is done, I can install the scrog net. As for the thrips, I can still see larvae, but they are far and few in between. Hopefully, the predatory mites will soon make short work of them. I haven't even flipped yet, but there are already flowers in the tent!!! Alfalfa flowers that is :D

Sorry for the purple glow, i still use some old purple led lights. I'll do my best to shoot clear pictures through led cultivator glasses! Clock is set to 12/12. I'm seeing an option of "germination" in adding a week. Too bad there isn't an option of "pre flower" @mods maybe you can add it? Also, don't forget to drop a like, it helps with the algorithm! Had some severe drooping on one side of the plant. It was kind of weird, but most likely nothing. I was under watering quite a bit in an attempt to make sure I didn’t flush out the benes and nutrients of the super soil. Ironically, I might have killed all the benes. Lol. Either way, they’re getting about 2.5 gal every other day now. Growing strong. Just did another spinosad treatment. Haven’t seen any more thrips since the first treatment 10 or so days ago. Saw a leaf hopper in there though 😡

This week I tried some gentle LST by just bending the main branch over every day once or twice a day I didn’t use tie downs, I figured for my first grow I’ll keep it as simple as possible and see if I can even get it to harvest. It has definitely grown this week from last, and seems to be liking the 50-50 mix of FFOF and FFHF. I have noticed some yellow on the tips of a few leaves I’m assuming it’s cal mad deficiency comparing with others pictures but it’s minor. I have to say fast buds has a very hearty strain here it withstands well despite not having quite enough light, but I hope that’s something I can change in the future grows. I just worry that when she flips to flower she will struggle more under my lighting configuration and fox tail or larf out. That being said I’m intrigued to see what happens and see what she produces. I see her getting into a stretch getting taller daily and wanting more frequent watering I’m assuming I’ll start to see flower in week 5 or maybe 6. All in all I’m very happy for my first grow and the fast buds northern lights, I agree with others that say this strain is resilient. Happy growing!

Day 55 flower (day 109 since sprout). These girls are just getting nicer and nicer every week. I'm going to let them go for probably one more week since the temp and humidity has been really nice for them lately. The fade has really come in this past week and the flowers smell amazing. I'm getting a smell of berries and black licorice from them. Each plant got a 0.3L dose of recharge this week.

Pues HOY, miercoles 22 de abril, hago el cambio de fotoperiodo, a 14-14! De momento todo va según lo planeado, main lining hasta este punto, vigorosas y recias, se sienten muy sanas y beben muchisimo, de momento 3 litros por planta cada dos dias, veremos a ver ahora con la floracion. Ahora esta primera semana voy a hacerle diferentes aplicaciones buscando cosas jajajajaja hoy la voy a hacer aplicación foliar del delta y no recuerdo si tocaba tambien a riego. Luego, algo que tengo ganas de ver, es usar el calcio ahora entre esta semana y la siguiente de aplicación foliar, pero en esta ocasión no solo para fortalecer la planta, sino para activar la hormona Ca²+ creo que se llama, que en sí es el mensajero de la planta que le dice, eeehh, haz mas resina que estás tirando poca! Y así la fuerza.. habrá que ver jajaja pero bueno, hoy arrancan las 14 horas de luz y 14 horas de oscuridad 🔥🔥 Las plantas, el dosel lo tienen sobre los 40cm, espero no tener que hacer super cropping, no soy fan. Actualización jueves 23-04-2026: el video es del despertar tras sus primeras 14h de oscuridad. Aún no hay porqué ver nada respecto al cambio de fotoperiodo, lo interesante es lo vigorosas que están en el momento del cambio 🔥🔥🔥🔥💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

They have seen low temp's of 0.0 and high temps of 36°c but seem to be doing fine so far, 2 weeks growth outdoors is so different to two weeks growth under a light!!
