Beginning of week 6 and the start of flowering. Plants are growing rapidly and have recovered from the magnesium deficiency. All new growth is looking healthy and green.

Unfortunately what we never want to happen has happened with my baby.. bud rot.. on day 98 of cycle I found 1 bud with bud rot, cut it off, checked the plant and could not find more.. flushed the plant and wait next day to see how it goes. After 2 days main bud was identified with bud rot too.. so sad.. probably due high humidity in my environment + colder weather we are starting to have.. so on day 101 harvest it.. could go few more days to get more amber trichomes but decided to harvest it to avoid lose more buds .. I will keep watching it to see if no spread when drying :(

So much rain and simply no sun this week. But it looks good. The buds coule be more dense but this is the risk of outdoor. The smell is intense, sweet, earty... The hairs are mostly orange but the trichomes do nit look ready at all I will start flushing this week. No more nutirents

I’m doing this week a day early for everyone because I have to leave for work for a few days and I just got back from 3 days of being gone. This is the first and second time I’ve ever left them. Usually this late in the game I can get a little longer out of the reservoir though. I cleaned it when I got back and started fresh to get these ladies down the home stretch. One is obviously ahead of the other by about a week which is normal for me and she’s getting a fade and some foxtailing on two of the top sites which there isn’t much I can do since the lights are all the way raised up. I’m going to just cruise into the finish with moderate nutrients and bounce the ph from 6.4 until they drop to 5.6 so they get all the nutrient uptake. My calendar shows this as the beginning of week 6 compared to the diary but we’ll keep watching as the purple bleeds into the trichomes. Thanks for looking!

I wanted to title this weeks grow "How Big Are Your Balls? (root balls that is, lol)". I've been wanting to post pictures and video of the root balls for a while now, so today's the day! The temperature has been dropping here, so the plants are getting much less heat stress. In a couple of weeks the temperature should be down into the 60's and 70's during the day and all will be good.

So first of All i have to say this strain is recommendable. It is Not a heavy gitter that is for Sure, but it delivers a pleasent high with a relaxing Note. Flowering takes a little longer then it said but that is alright. i harvested at about 5% amber coulored trichomes. I will give this strain a try i would recommend taking clones during flower, due to the exploding growth paterns afterwards. Cheers to everyone who had a look Frugo

You can tell that the girls are going to be top shelf and have some beautiful bag appeal we got a couple more weeks until harvest .. BUT one of the KOSHER KUSH is going to need a week or 2 extra to bulk up her fruits . I’m starting to see that one of the kosher kush is starting to get yellow leaves working from the bottom up.. a sign that my fruits are finally ripening 🍇🍍

📆 Week 18, 21-27 May 2024 21-27 May - Observed and let the plant mature. 📑 At this point in the grow there is nothing much left to do except observe the plant and let it finish maturing. Although the bud size is somewhat smaller than anticipated, they appear tight and very uniform. The trichomes overall are 80% milky/10% amber/10% clear. Almost all pistil hairs are dark, and her smell has peaked with a sweet pine, gas, fruity scent. She has been having some leaf discoloration ss I tested her pH. It was a little high Soni gave her some pH Down. Went from 7.3 to 5.8. Hopefully that fixed the problem. Gave her a good dose of nutes hoping to get her back on track. Tune in next week to find out how it goes. Lol

But for those who love the details, the full spread of pictures is right here, as always. t this point in flower, the girls are not eating — they’re just drinking clean water with nothing but System Clean in the reservoir, at a rate of 0.25 ml per liter. This is part of a gentle, prolonged flush phase I like to implement, giving the plants a chance to metabolize and fade naturally. The goal is to promote clean, vibrant flowers that finish with optimal expression, without rushing the process. No forced flush, just time and care. Lighting-wise, the spectrum has been tuned with precision — we’re currently running 40% on the whites, with reds and UVs at 100% to drive trichome development, resin production, and color expression in these final days. The plants are loving it — they’re soaking in the deeper wavelengths that signal the end of their life cycle and responding with a final push of energy. And yes — we’ve been running 11 hours of light and 13 hours of darkness from the very start of flower. It’s not the usual 12/12, and it comes with its pros and cons. On the upside, it helps speed up ripening slightly, encourages more compact flower formation, and mimics the natural seasonal decline in daylight. On the flip side, it slightly reduces the overall DLI (daily light integral), so you need to ensure your PPFD and spectrum are dialed in just right to avoid sacrificing yield. well, that day dawned :) growing in a suitcase was really difficult, temperature, humidity, plant growth, everything was very difficult to control, but I managed something, it was an extremely interesting experience :) 119 gr wet, I think it will be between 25-30 gr dry , which I think is really good from the suitcase :) it was something different than usual, and now I'm going to grow another begina, which is much bigger than this one :) good luck to everyone, and thank you.:)
