I have applied a little defoliation on this lady, I decided to remove the biggest leafs and see how she does, tomorrow she's gonna be flipped into flower finally on February 15th I cannot wait to see how this plant performs, hope a nice stretch on the transition before flower! Que pasa familia, hemos vuelto para actualizar las skunk que ya tenemos cosechadas. Que gran genética, y muy típica entre fumadores de hierba, un crecimiento más indico pero floración lenta bastante lenta, en teoría se supone que es Sativa, 17% thc en la tas con un tamaño medio pequeño pero flores mi compactas y dulces, un cultivo ni fácil ni difícil, sin más, bastante neutral para los cambios climáticos algo sensible con el aspecto alimentación. La recomendaría en verdad, sobre todo para aquellos amantes del dulce. Nos vemos en próximos proyectos fumetillas

Semana de lavado y finalizamos este cultivo. Muy contento con esta cepa la cantidad de cogollo es mas que adecuada y la de tricomas creo que se ve a simple vista. Y el olor es bastante fuerte. En la siguiente entrada os mostrare el resultado en seco de esta maravilla

La planta de la tierra viene creciendo bastante bien, los trips han disminuido bastante asi que por eso seguiremos combatiendolos con aceite de neem.

This week was mostly about getting everything ready for the vegetative phase. I will start to add some nutrients this week. I will first flush out most of the old water that has been running through the system for about 2 weeks now. When the plants get a little bigger I will add some nutrients and try get my EC level up to around 0.7 with the help from the very supportive people over at EHG nutrients. They have offered to sponsor me through this grow with nutrients which will be of great help. They are a local South African company, so for any one from South Africa 🇿🇦 please check them out. I have added an oscillating fan to add to the airflow en strengthen my seedlings whilst they start to grow stronger. Due to my humidity being a bit lower than what I want it to be, I have decided to add an air purifier/humidifier which will hopefully add some humidity to the tent. I am aiming for about 65% RH and will be monitoring this closely. My lights are currently at 40% strength. I am making use of a panel heater to break the winter cold and will be aiming to be at around 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees Fahrenheit). I have added an Mycelium bag which is an alternative way to add extra co2 to your grow. This helps the plant to absorb nutrients better and handle the temperatures a bit better. I will be adding photos as the week continues.

End of Week 13 (6 week of flower) Cruise control on! Trying to make sure the environment is 100% in check, and I made a very light compost tea with some molasses and worm castings and a little bit of bone meal just to give them a calcium boost and some extra sugars so they can flourish into their final couple of weeks of flower. I have been keeping a cooler average temperature - and also keeping the relative humidity lower. Pest Report: None

The buds on Black Opium are looking so fat, and they're so heavy I've had to stake the plant with my new stronger stakes. I have tied the stakes to the stems with soft fabric ties. I couldn't be happier with the results that we have so far, and I think we are still a few weeks away from harvest. Quite a lot of the pistils are still white. I like to leave my plants a little bit longer. Just to make sure that they're ready. I always check the trichomes. Maybe she'll even stack on some more weight who knows, fingers crossed, and we'll see what happens! I'm just trying to keep the buds and the stems intact. The plant has definitely increased the need for water and feedings. I have added an additional 100Watt UVA/UVB lamp, as the uppermost canopy of Acapulco Gold is blocking pretty much everything in the tent. Hopefully, this will aid the shorter plants in surviving until I can harvest it. There will be so much more space and lighting. Can't wait! 😅 Here is what I did this week. 25.9.25: I watered with 3.25L of dechlorinated water PH'd to 6.5 with; 💜 Sea K 2.5TSP 💜 Cal-Mag 1.5TSP 💜 Biosys 2TSP PH: 6.5 PPM: 1020 The fungus gnats have really incresed since I did a watering of the whole tent. I have some more sticky traps set out, and I will not water for several days. Once it has dried the top soil, I will add some more Diatomaceous Earth to the top 5cm. This plant has really started taking off this week. Lots of pistil production going on. Feeding with med man brand nutes. Kind bud base at 600 ppm, now switching from kick to bloom. Still at half a gram per l of water

Nitrogen is low and I caught it late. Cant correct it much now due to it being in its second week of flower. They are fairly happy otherwise. We will see how this goes.

Changed HPS light for a Leds one. This Voost Leds are really good for veg and on low setting, let's try it on full for El Patron! Just added handful worm castings and half of bat guano. I really started to enjoy looking at her flowering, long stretch and immature buds in formation, calixes are not many but those are bigger the norm, and hair are short. I like big Calyxes and short hair! 😁 That is it, thank you for following!
