So this week I took the decision to bend over her cola to clear the lights. I didn't want to scrape any THC off when she's moved 😂 Week 2 of flowering is going well. She's doing her thing.

Day 77 (f15): The Runtz is stretching considerably more than the Kosher Dawg (which will need to be elevated - probably by putting planks under the dwc reservoir). Ran out of Plagron nutrients and couldn't find anymore! So I bought the only ones available at the hydro store 'hy-pro hydro A & B), these nutrients are much less concentrated and I already used up near to half a litre of nutrients on my reservoir change day (yesterday)! The yellow tips on the Runtz seem to be light stress, as during the res change the nutrient dosage was lowered and ph maintained between 5.7-6.1 and she shows she is hungry but the yellow tips got slightly worse to the light is 15cm higher now. Nice strong vegetative smell releases when I rub any part of the plants :D It is getting difficult to take pictures where you can actually see the size of the plants because the space is so packed! Can't wait to do the heavy defoliation after the stretch (in like 5-7 days from now)! Day 80 (f18) update: 😀 The Kosher Dawg stretched 8-10cm since day f15. EC and PH very stable at 1.5 and 5.9. During the next water res change, when all the water is out of the res (so it weighs less) I will try add planks under the reservoir to elevate the Kosher Dawg to a height similar to that of the Runtz (currently approx 15 cm difference in height). The Kosher Dawg took longer to start stretching than the Runtz and the bud development started later. Does this mean I should also do the 'day 21 defoliation' - which should be between the stretch and the focus on bud height development - a few days later for this Kosher Dawg than for the Runtz? Looking forward to defoliating and finding out what she is truly packing under all those fan leaves! 😃

Hello everyone, Been busy but I shoot a little video for yall to see, also if growing is something you guys intended to do, I suggest you guys get yourselves a Digital Microscope or a jewlers loop. I just got myself a Digital Microscope for under $20.00 on Walmart.com, I got me a cheap one to start with so I can learn how to use it properly. But for under $20.00 this one brings 8 led lights, a adjustable mount, comes with 3 different connection choices build in, magnifies from 50-1000x, can take pictures and also videos and my favorite part, it connects right to my mobile device, you download and install a Google app and your ready to go, ill work with it and add pictures next week... This plant just amazes me how many thricomes it has , i would definitely recommend this strain. I'm curious how it will smoke when it dries up! 😁 It smells very fruity and piney and you can see the crystals shining on it. Very happy with the results 🙂

Another week in and the flowers are stacking up nice. Cyclo nutrients are feeding them well. No deficiencies so far. All levels in the correct parameters. The cheese are both huge plants. Need more light power in veg to keep them shorter next run.

Defoliated again the leaves which were growing over Bud sites The streching phase has begun. I am corious how tall the plant will go.

This first week in flower was a bit more exciting than previous weeks. I decided to put in a scrog net to help spread and even out the canopy. So naturally, I 3D-printed one. (Yes, I can be that nerdy.) Besides, it was the quickest and easiest solution as I don't like the stretchy-net kind so need a frame. Much easier to download a file and press print :D Installing it was a breeze and I also cleared away most branches and leaves below the screen. The stuff that won't make it above the screen and will just result in a bunch of larf. I'm still seeing chlorosis (which I suspect has to do with her transitioning into flower and stretching), so I gave her a bit of Orgatrex and Bactrex. Same old, same old.. despite the hot weather and my messiness, i think we are in a slow but good way.. Added 1ml of bio bloom, same schedule.

Mixed nutrients today. Last night I added 2 ml of oxy science h202 to 18L of Kamloops City water filtered through our homes water filter, no idea what it does exactly lol. I put an air stone over night and let the water bubble off any chlorine and the rest of the h202, I use microbial mass so I just wanted to sanitize the water but not kill my soil. Mixed in bases first into 21.7 C ph 8.1 Water in the morning. Important not to mix concentrated solutions, I used syringes that I rinsed well between products. I find that with this product you just follow the instructions and it’s pretty awesome results.
