Day 99: New Week We've decided against using additional nutrients and have completely stopped fertilizing. The light cycle has been reduced to 11 hours, and we're already starting to give them cooler water. Starting Monday, I will be watering with ice water to stress the plants further, aiming for higher yield, more terpenes, and increased frost. The adjustment to the light cycle should also help the plants ripen evenly. The lights are hanging about 20 cm above the buds, which are getting thicker every day, soaking up the light intensely. In about a week, most of the plants should be ready for harvest. We plan to stop watering them for about 100 hours before harvest. During this period, I'll place ice cubes on the soil to shock the roots one last time. 48 hours before harvest, I will turn off the lights, giving the plants two days of darkness. After this period, the plants will be cut and hung to dry.

Hello Diary. We’ve come to the last week. After a total of 64 days since both plants sprouted, we came to a harvest. 😎 I watched the trichomes develop every day, and when I noticed that they were all milky and occasionally brown, I decided to harvest. Since the harvest was after three days of the current week, I put week 9. as the last week of the cycle. The last time I watered it four days earlier, I wanted it not to be freshly watered before drying. I would also say that it is clear from the pictures that they look ready for the harvest. 😉 Since their roommate Green Gelato was still in the Box, I had to come up with a different way of drying. Otherwise I prefer to dry the whole plant hung upside down in a box. So I made a cardboard box in which I placed small hangers for which I would hang branches. I also drilled holes in the box on all sides to have air flow through the box. Since the box is too small for both plants, I cut off the 4 main branches of Hulkberry Auto # 2 that I put in the box while drying the rest in one piece on the balcony in the fresh air. I cut the branches and made a wet trimming, after which I hung the branches in the “dryer”. I placed the cardboard box in a Box where I plan to dry it for a minimum of 10 days. I am happy with the outcome although we will see the real situation after drying. 16/08/2020 - Harvest day - day 59. See you after drying with the final report.

Wow! She has been upgraded to a 4x4 tent with 600w of flowering lights (2x Mars Hydro TSL2000; 300w each) and she is LOVING IT! Continuing on the Early Bloom nute schedule and holding a super-solid pH/EC through the end of this week. Her uptake has started to slow, so I'm thinking that she is close to being done with stretch. She is definitely going crazy with buds as it looks to me like they swell more each day. I've been very happy with her growth so far; impressed even. I'm just hoping that the increased lighting doesn't cause her to herm due to the close distance. Coming at you guys with my second grow here. I started late this diary, vegging is boring anyway. These guys should be done within the next week or two. I’ve honestly never smelled anything like the strawberry currently in my tent. I’ve been growing for a while and have been skeptical with the naming choices these breeders make. My last run I grew a strawberry crinkle. It didn’t have the slightest smell of sweetness. This girl is packing some unique Turpines and I can’t wait to try it.

Cuttings are growing very fast, we added 2 more lights for a total of 800 W led grow light. On day 11 since have been put in the box we decided to switch to flow as we tought cuttings has reached the right dimension to fullfil the box. Still using only pH 6.5 water with no nutrients

Last week we have had a little more growth as they have filling out. Day 49. Experienced some deficiencies this past week but I've upped the nutrients and I'm gonna see if that helps. Still seeing a lot of growth. Did another defoliation. DLI is still at 45. PPFD 610. Plant is still growing and roots are bigger. I'll count this as a win for now.

8/5/23 - Day 54 - Last night, a successful water change took place. I've attached a picture of the bucket at the top for reference. While I currently perform manual water changes, I have plans to automate the process using the available hookups. Unfortunately, the unit was shipped quickly, leaving me no time to set up the automatic system before receiving the LEAF box. However, on my next grow, I'll ensure the drain and water inlet are properly connected. During this current grow, the bucket you see at the top is always connected to the drain as a precautionary measure. I can activate the draining process through the app, and after two cycles, all the water, including the water collected by the dehumidifier, is efficiently removed. Following the draining process, I fill the box with RO water, and from there, the LEAF box takes over and automatically dispenses the necessary nutrients. This automated system has made the whole process incredibly easy, eliminating any guesswork. I simply empty and fill the water; everything else is expertly handled by the LEAF box. The flowering stage is progressing exceptionally well. The plant has ceased growing upward, and the buds are now thriving and reaching new heights each day. I find myself eagerly looking into the box daily, excited to witness the changes, especially around 2 pm when I can observe the growth since the morning. It feels like Christmas morning every day! As always, I'll keep adding daily pictures to document the incredible journey. 8/9/23 - Day 58 - It's been a few days since I have posted. Thats because Shes growing bud like crazy. You can see the plant has focused on growing the buds because the plant has stopped stretching up and started swelling the buds. We have about 3-4 weeks until harvest. This has been the easiest grow of my life. Basically, I add some water to top it off and that's about it.
