Plants were looking terrible this week. I use a humidifier and I am In a hard water area. Well I wondered why the exhaust fan I had to keep adjusting and researched and the hard water had clogged the carbon filter. Ordered a new one costly mistake. Anyone know exactly what the brown patches are. I assumed a calcium deficiency due to lockout as I was adjusting ph to 6.3. So I flushed through with 6.8 and they perked up the next day. I added calmag to be safe. Also suffering cold temps at night so could have been phosphorus deficiency lockout (only guessing) so I have increased temps at night. Never had these issues in veg before.

It was time for harvest. the video was taken outside - a little bit of real sunshine before the chop. With out a microscope it was particularly difficult working out the colours of the trichomes. So I guessed.

Ok one has gone purple the other hasnt :) I’m still of the opinion that’s it’s too much calcium , maybe due to the microbes improving the circulation, next change tomorrow with out any cal mag we see what happens 🤞 Changed reservoir Thursday - Boxing Day Had a few issues with calcium with this strain , it first appeared two weeks ago , I m of the opinion that maybe the concentration got too high locking ou5 the nutrients , ph is perfect at 6.3 but still later on we are seeing it in the other plant , this could also be the boxes , as this is the first run with them we can see if it’s going to happen with the northern lights 🤞 Big one is trying to go purple , the gold in her leaves is quite amazing , a side product of too much calcium I think

Start of week 2. Week 1 went well, though she is showing signs of deficiencies. Hopefully with the addition of Big Bud, she'll perk up shortly.

Checkout my Instagram @smallbudz to see the Small budget grow setup for indoor use, low watt, low heat, low noise, step by step. 27/12/2019 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.4PH water with 0,5ml of each: Grow, Bloom and Max, and 1ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, I use about 1/3 of the nutrient dosage on the chart, to achieve about 200/300PPM (500 scale). 01/01/2020 - Fed her 1.5l of 6.4PH water with 0,25ml of Grow, 0,75ml Bloom and 0.5ml Max, and 2ml of each: Heaven, Alga-mic and Vera, mesured about 280PPM (500 scale).

Happy new year everyone! I hope everyone had some amazing festivities! 😃 Regarding my babies I think I might be underfeeding them and one might be shocked thanks to the heat and the lack of nutrients I gave them, last week's runoff water scared me and the plants might be suffering because of that! Most of the issues starts to get more noticeable later during the week! 😖 I started giving them few nutrients to see how they would react and at the end of the week it's clear that I had to give them waaaaay more 😵 Besides that I also moved them to their final pots and I topped Pistachio, out of the two she's the one that looks the best. I also defoliated them a little. I also believe they didn't get a transplant shock (I mean, they would've been worse if that was the case haha) and I added more mycorrhizas during the transplant (I heard they help a lot with hot climates and I need help with that badly) Anyway, thanks for reading! Sensi Seeds JACK HERER 31st December 2019 It's the Last day of the year and the little Jack Herer has a brand new home along with my other Photoperiod Plants. I erected a 3m x 2m x 1.8m Green House That completely covers the whole area. This Green house will serve a few purposes such as protection from any Rain during Flowering, Prying Eyes and Potential animal interference. Ive topped her now at the 5th node and other than that she's been left to her own devices to grow and thrive as she wishes. Watered 50 Gal fresh plain PHed water, ppm was around 2100 so if the 50 gal doesn’t dilute it enough then I will vac out the remaining water and rinse out the totes to get the salt/sandy particles off the bottom. I noticed the 2 mars 1600 leds are not getting light evenly to all the canopy so for my next crop I will be getting 2-6’ light rails and stagger the lights as they move, at 5-15 watts each they should be more efficient than getting 2 more 630watt leds. Also next crop I will be downsizing my scrog to a 7’ x 7’ giving me a 1’ perimeter for working & admiring 🙏🤤
