Season 2 is officially underway and so excited for this grow. Growing 4 plants, but space is a lil limited. Growing in an 80x80cm so using small pots. 2x 8l and then 1x 5l and 1x 4.7l (if you wanna be exact lol). This time I decided to experiment a bit. I'm testing 2 different soils, both in 8l pots, both Purple Punch Auto by Fastbuds, both in airpots. Their names are Robin and Lily. Also testing fabric bags against airpots. Both in same soil, both in 5l pots, both Wild Dwarf Auto by Bulk Seed Bank (that was the plan but now it's 1 WD and another Purple Punch). Their names are Jess and Cece. For this one, Robin, had the seed in water for about 24 hours then in paper towel. Then, into Living Organics soil.

Die Pflanze hat ein wunderbares skunkiges Aroma entwickelt, am liebsten würde ich in einen Bud beißen :) Ich bin sehr auf den Ertrag gespannt, obwohl die Pflanze nur in einem 3L Airpot stand, sind sehr fette und harte Buds entstanden. Am Montag wird die Pflanze geerntet, dann gibt es ein Update und weitere Bilder.

18/05/2023 Day 36 - Today i finally fed her after 1 week without feeding. Kept almost the same feeding from last week, just removed root juice and alg-a-mic and rised MagNifiCal to 1,5 ml/L Day 37 - Today she stretched nicely and i noticed her first pre flowers so preflowering begins, next fedding i´ll add 1ml/L Alga Bloom and Top-Max and will slowly rise up to 4ml/L Day 39 - Today i fed her again, added 1ml/L Alga Bloom and 1ml/L Top-Max and rised MagNifiCal to 1,8 ml/L. Has been hot and dry these days. (for my zone). Day 40 - She´s growing well. This afternoon i sprayed under her leafs with Alg-a-mic. Soon i´ll defoliate her, so i want to give a good dose of vitamin b so she recovers beautifully. Day 41 - This morning sprayed her again before sunrise. I wont defoliate yet. Pot is already kind of light, so tomorrow is feeding day. Day 42 - Today i defoliated, did some LST and fed her. Added 0,5 ml/L Alga Bloom, making 1,5 ml/L in total. 😃

Hi all the happy people here in GrowDiaries. This is my second cultivation ever and it will be fun to try a bigger space than my closet grow. First, I'm just going to say I'm done with the construction of my new growroom. I put some pictures on the construction here in week one. The room is 2.14 meters by 1.7 meters and has a ceiling height of 2 meters. It provides a floor area of ​​3.6 square meters. I use a 54 Watt Lightwawe T5 for germination and 2 Pcs 400 Watt HPS lamps. I have a channel fan that replaces the room air about 40 times an hour to get a comfortable theme in the room, the air enters a fresh air intake from the outside. The air is purified through a carbon filter to then leave the room to the rest of the basement. Then I use that heat to heat the rest of the basement. I will use 8 pcs 15 liter Autopots to grow with and a 100 liter water tank that supplies the pots of water and nutrition. I will grow completely organically in soil and will watercure my buds to get the best possible medicine for me. But there are no cultivation rooms to be displayed here, so I continue with what is most important. Today I have put my seeds in my moisture dome and hope the seeds have germinated within a few days. Starting to smell very dank and musky, will start to lower nutrients next week and start ghe ripen. Lots of nice colors coming though as result of changing to LED . Had a humidity problem where it was about 80% I got a 2l dehumidifier on and has somewhat cured the issue , humidity is now as 45-50%

This Dinamex from Dinafem is starting to really bud and is very stunted so I took a chance and transplanted her to a little bit more soil. The last of what’s I had because one of my other plants was a male. So flipped her over and she is kicking ass to say the least. Can’t wait to still see what I get out of his “solo Cup”grow

I was ahead of schedule with my weekly updates so I am changing this week to the true week 6 update, photos are about a week and a half from last week update. Starting flowering nutes tomorrow after flushing all day today, seeing a lot of new pistil growth. I was hoping to have these harvested around week 10 but I’m thinking it’s gonna be more like 12 or 13 now which is fine, just taking it day by day. This week has been a lot of stretching, with the tallest one coming out at around 17 inches. I was gone on a trip for 5 days and left them to their own devices, and returned to see great growth and no signs of any issues. Humidity was at 90% in the tent when I got back which scared me but I saw no signs of stress, these girls really are some hulks. Aired it out and it’s back to a reasonable level now. I’ve been expressing my worries in previous updates about the plants growing too big for their grow area, however nothing is getting out of control and I don’t see them growing more than 12 more inches, which at max could be pushing a little close to the light but should be ok. Starting to get hints of some nice pungent smells which are different than the previous earthy ones, getting pretty excited.

First week of 12/12

End of Week 4 Trying to make sure the soil stays nice and moist to keep the microbes happy and letting the top 3 cm of the topsoil dry before each watering. . Turned the wattage up on my ballasts to 600W each. The ladies have gained some strength and they can handle the extra wattage. I also performed LST by tucking fan leaves and softly pinching and bending some of the bud sites also used some tie downs and topped here and there whilst keeping the stress at a minimal.

Alot of trial and error on this gal and shes fast to spring back, resilient to a lot-- hot res temps, training, etc. beautiful plant and genetics!

Intermediate Results Overview This grow was intense! Setting up the grow consumed so much of my time and focus that I started slacking at work, and it took me a month to get back on track. But hey, what’s the point of a job if it gets in the way of growing? 😉 In the end, everything worked out, and I gained invaluable experience. This was my first grow using coco coir. At first, I didn’t get it, but then it just clicked! Now I’m hooked: "I’m here to stay." Coco is more controlled than soil, flushes easily, and you can introduce beneficial microbes, which thrive in it. My main takeaway from this grow? If you buy coco, don’t forget CalMag! Next time, I’ll definitely install HEPA filters at the intake. The amount of dust was insane, and the grow box pulls air like a vacuum cleaner. Watching the timelapse, you can see the box sucking in every bit of dust. I vacuumed the intake filters weekly. The plant was incredibly sticky, but that also meant it caught a lot of lint and fibers between trichomes, especially visible under a microscope. Smoking microplastics? No, thank you! --- On CO2 CO2 only works if everything else is dialed in. If the plant experiences stress from deficiencies or overfeeding, you can forget about it. Since CO2 supplementation requires turning off the exhaust fan, it’s hard to manage temperature and humidity. The plant releases so much moisture that RH jumps to 80% within minutes. It’s doable, but definitely a challenge. --- On Magnetic Fields No clue what’s happening here yet, but it’s fascinating! I’ll test again with a control sample. --- Nutrients Dreams do come true—I’ve tested almost everything Advanced Nutrients offers. It wasn’t all smooth sailing; their feeding charts need adjustments for your conditions, and you usually need to feed less than recommended. Overall, I’d say the nutrients performed 100%, and I see no reason to switch. I’ll stick with them for future grows. --- Strain This strain is reliable, though not the most productive. It flowered exactly as advertised and delivered a frosty finish. It tolerated all my mistakes like a champ—especially mold. Despite an abandoned SCROG plan turning the plant into a bouquet, there wasn’t a single mold spot, even in the densely packed lower buds that got almost no light. Zero mold issues! --- Aroma As advertised: pine, wood, and citrus. At first, I thought it smelled like grapefruit, but now I’m leaning toward bergamot. Bergamot with a classic weed aroma—a recognizable twist on the usual scent. During the grow, the smell was strong, but the carbon filter handled it perfectly. --- Flavor It’s too early to say, but the flavor is definitely there! Embarrassingly, all my past harvests tasted the same—like nothing. Just smoke. This one has a distinct sour taste. I’m excited to see how it develops after curing. --- Effect Too early for a full review, but I love what I’ve tried so far. The high lasts about three hours, with euphoria and relaxation. It’s the perfect evening strain. I’ve smoked a lot over the years, but I’ve never experienced true euphoria—until now. Guess I’ve been stuck with garbage and ditch weed before. 😅 It’s not a strain for productivity or chores, but it’s perfect for chilling, watching something, or chatting. No anxiety, just great vibes. It feels like having a beer after a long day: you relax, and life feels good again. --- Roots The roots were healthy—maybe too healthy! While the AirPot (20L) prevented root circling, it didn’t eliminate it entirely. There were dead zones at the bottom where roots circled around the perimeter. A dense root mat formed at the bottom (so dense you couldn’t poke a finger through it), which likely contributed to salt buildup. Breaking through that mat required more water, and I suspect this caused EC to spike 1.5x the next day if there was no runoff. Next time, I’ll mix some pumice with the substrate at the bottom, about 3–4 cm deep. --- Timelapse I only got the timelapse running after the switch to flowering, so it’s not from the beginning. This time, I’m doing it by the book with full control. Drying in the grow box with RH controlled at 50–60% (averaging 55%) for a slow, even dry. Temps are kept between 20–23°C, with frequent venting to keep it below 21°C for terpene preservation. After 7–10 days, when small stems snap with a characteristic sound, I’ll trim and jar them with humidity sensors. For the first two weeks, I’ll burp the jars twice daily, then reduce to once daily for the next two weeks. After that, I’ll monitor the RH sensors and adjust as needed. I’ll share the details after curing is complete. After drying, I’ll weigh the buds, take photos, and share another post in a month or two after curing to report on the flavor and aroma.
