Well, this week has been eventful. What started with a fly deciding to lay eggs in my buckets with larvae swimming around and chilling on my roots turned into a bit of a disaster. I used very weak H2O2 (diluted 3% solution). To try and clean infestation, the roots didn’t like it, even though the actual concentration of H2O2 was probs less than 0.25%. Lesson learned 🙃 It has given some of them a touch of root rot (this is an assumption because I can’t figure out what else it could have been). So growth has stunted a lot. Just before the bug problem, I increased EC to 1.1, this was probably another mistake, the smaller girls at the back with a smaller root mass got massive lock out, potassium, mag and calcium by the looks of it, coupled with a few not so well timed PH swings out of the 5.5-6.5 range gave me a lot to combat this week. But, life goes on, they’re still alive (just about)... As this is probably the hardest curve ball I’ve had thrown at me since I started growing canna, I have cut back the EC to 0.56 to allow them to heal. Probably wrongly decided to top them all as they were growing past 7th node, either it’s gonna pay off, or I’ll be posting harvest details of 0g by this time next week 👽 I am on a stay at home holiday from work for the next 3 weeks, so looks like my babies are staying in the ICU and I’ll do my best to bring them back to life 😊

End of the week 5 of flowering I have little bit problems with humidity 60-70% and i found something that doesnt look like good thing in bud :( but only in one lady Overall ladies look good only one have something going, should i start flushing? week 6 of flowering starts today

Two of the seedlings were showing some really marked chlorosis. A little odd, because all 4 buckets should be the same mix, but... I checked the EC of all the buckets and they were consistent. pH was a smidge high on those two, so I dropped it from about 5.8 to closer to 5.4/5.5. After a couple of days, I decided to just remix those two buckets. I didn't want to spend a lot of time trying to fiddle with a nutrient deficiency with autos. After a couple of days the meristem areas were coming in green again, so hopefully it's fixed! The other two plants looked fine. Edit: Immediately after writing this entry, I was like "Oooh, it's nute burn." so I dumped 1/2 of the reservoirs and replaced with filtered water to get the ppm down. pHed it to 5.5 again, and we'll see!

The size isn't awesome, but the high ammount of buds full of crystals plus the strong sweet aroma makes them awesome. Buds are growing and fattenning very very well. This week i added a boost of HomeMade CO2, i never measured the results of this invention so i can't give CO2 measurements. This method is widely used in home aquariums and there is where it comes from. For those interested i'm going to write here more detailed instructions. The 4 liters i've made will last for about 2 weeks. ---NEEDINGS--- - 250 ml Bottle - 6~10 l Bottle - 400 g Sugar / l water - 1 Envelope of organic baker's yeast / l water (CHEMICAL WILL NOT WORK) - 3 mid plastic tubes 40~50 cm - 1 short plastic tube 5~6 cm - 4 tube adapters - Hot glue to seal adapters The process of creating CO2 is simple, mix water, organic yeast and sugar in a bottle, and the sugar will free CO2 in the process of fermenting to alcohol due to the yeast. 1. Make a hole in the center of the big bottle cap, insert an adapter and secure it with hot glue 2. Make 3 holes in the small bottle cap and glue the other 3 adapters 3. Link both caps with one of the mid tubes and insert the other tubes on free adapters 4. Insert a short tube in the bottom of the small cap in the adapter that came from the big cap 5. 11/21/24 Short facts: - Watered: 1 x 0.5L, 1 x 0.75L, 1 x 1.5L, 1 x 1.75L — 3.5L - VPD @ 1.4 — raised by 0.1 - Light @ 80% ~700 to 1050 PPFD - BioBizz Bio-Bloom increased to 3ml/L - BioBizz Bio-Grow increased to 3ml/L - Getting colder! At night between 18 to 19°C --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- She isn’t doing well, and her condition has worsened this week. Most of her leaves are now yellowing, with some completely dying off. I’m attempting to save her by ordering a special fertilizer designed to increase nitrogen, as well as provide magnesium and other essential minerals. I plan to feed her with it tomorrow. If that doesn’t work, I’ll have to accept that she’s dying. Unfortunately, she has also lost some of her fruity aroma, and the smell is no longer as strong... I’ve seen reports from other growers about the AvT, showing cases of senescence, but it usually occurred only toward the very end. So, we’ll see if this is just a phenotype with an unusually early onset of senescence. She’s definitely harder to grow than I initially expected. Since the weather is getting quite cold for the region - and we’ve already had a bit of snow - the cellar where my grow tent is set up is cooling down, with nighttime temperatures dropping to 18–19°C. Therefore, I’ve ordered some heat mats, which should arrive tomorrow. I’m aiming to stabilize the root temperature at around 22°C consistently, so the nights won’t be too cold anymore. I’ll go into more detail in next week’s update.

NCH x SB is starting to fade significantly and has stopped throwing out new pistils, trichomes are significantly cloudy and a few on the sugar leaves are beginning to turn amber. Debating whether I should pull her at full cloudy in a week or two or wait until I see more amber. Sour Kush is still fattening up and has a lot of white pistils yet to mature, trichomes are of course a mixture of clear/milky, no fade on this plant yet. Tangerine Dream is making great progress in flowering and bud sites have thickened up considerably, trimmed a majority of larfy bud sites on this plant since the discrepancy in the distance to the light was so large. Water pH 6.15, EC 0.4. Feed pH 6.15, EC 0.717.

2/17 have about one week before harvest. Then 4 more will move in to the 2/18 harvested 3 plantz. 1 strawberry cough and 2 runtz. 66 days of flower. I will post picture of when done drying and going to cure. I defoliated my week 4 of flower girls. Adjusting week 7 girls under the net so they stay upright under the weight of bud there. And moving 3 more girls in to flower 1 runtz, one washington apple, and 1 . Also water night one gal of water per stage of flower. So the 3 in weeks 7 get 1 gal split between them and so do the week 4 girls 1 gal split between them
