This is my first ever experience with autoflowers, scrog, lst, led and such tiny grow space. Choice of strain - Big Bang Auto from Green House Seeds. I have run so many strains from this seed bank in the past and I was always happy with the final outcome. Was looking for indica dominant strain, fast flowering cycle and very important heavy yields on small spaces. Again thank you GHSC in very happy of choosing this strain. Little bit about my cabinet. She had some problems to switch to flowering and was even considering removing her but very happy that I was patient enough and turned great. Luna, right corner lady - have to say she is the queen. She has the most heavy buds from all, the most. colorful. Her wet weight was 420g, can't say how much of dry but guessing approx. 100g Sweet Mary Jane, front seat lady. I think she was the most pleasant to grow of her location but due to no other spare space for drying I belive that I have harvested her at least a week to early. Permanent Marker I have to say this might be my favorite strain scent and appearance I have ever grown. This thing is F*ckin INSANE it reeks of diesel, skunk, chemicals, sharpies and acetone it’s seriously something I wouldn’t expect a plant to produce. I’m hoping that scent carries through after drying and curing. She has bulked up nicely the buds were falling over I had to tie them up to keep them upright. Removed some big fan leaves and a few that were covering lower bud sites. Pistils are completely receding dark orange, been flushing for a week now as I’m expecting trichomes to ripen more before harvesting! WISH I WOULD HAVE TOOK A CLONE FROM HER UGH 😩..perfect for breeding with another perfect strain’s pheno!

Day 85: First Grow We’re entering a new week, and it’s exciting to see the progress in our first grow. The plants are thriving, and the buds continue to get thicker and frostier. The formation of orange hairs is becoming more pronounced, indicating that we're on the right track. This week, we’ve decided to order a microscope to monitor trichome development more closely. Additionally, we're considering adding CANNAZYM to our feeding regimen to support bud growth and overall plant health. Let’s keep pushing forward and make this a successful grow!

Day 14 she’s loving life. I learned our ph was coming out at ph 8.5 or over so we got that handled and since she’s exploded. I’ve very excited to have her in the arsenal again.

Man! I am definitely hooked on my new hobby. Harvested 96 grams of smokable bud and 93 grams of bud/leaves that I will be using to make dry ice hash. Took a third of that second weight (31 grams) to account for pure bud (which is more on the low end) and added to my 96 grams of good flower to get the 127 grams total. Made plenty of mistakes that I’m sure dropped my yield, the biggest being the lighting situation. Plants grew right into my light and even got bleached. The height of the plants made the outer colas grow past the high light areas, which made the buds very airy. But overall it was an amazing experience. I learned a lot of things, some that I have already incorporated on my second grow. And even with my drop in yield, I still ended up with more than enough flower to last me to my next harvest, so this was a great grow for me. Thanks to everyone who followed, liked, and commented. Everything is going well, due to running out of time, I didn’t post the last week, the girls are getting fat and with a lot of resin. I think another 2 to 3 weeks would be ready or some plans will be ready.

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 21 since germination, added a little bit of fish mix to watering schedule, a little bit of yellowing on foliage, ph testing RO filtered water and bringing it down very slightly to 6.5, I think possibly the soil as all mix quite nutrient rich to start with so going really easy on the nutes at mo and not too concerned, if it continues or notice more will water till run off check ec of the soil just to be on safe side. Pleased with the amount of growth after 21 days :)
