Hey! Welcome to week 8! Karen is mid way through her flowering stretch. Please check back to last week as I update daily so the week is now complete. I count about 20 colas now. Day 51: Have reconfigured the tent, see video. Karen is now 36cm and still stretching. Karen has more light now. Smell is still there hits you when you open the tent. Fertigated 2l. Day 52: Height: 39cm. Karen's scent is heavenly. I have reconfigured again and installed some upgrades. Better reflector. Much bigger carbon filter. Increased airflow. Better config. More efficient pot layout. Karen is lovely. I am grateful to her and for her, so I wrote her a little poem, I hope she liked it. "Karen! Oh Karen! The phoenix of flowers, Three lowly weeks she struggled in vain, Shadowed and starved for five hundred hours, He slowly wept to witness her pain. Karen! Oh Karen! I P-H'd your showers, and in the fourth week you started to gain, Hallowed and hard you survived as you cowered, I thought you meek, I was wrong once again. Karen! Oh Karen! Forgave me my howlers. She set a pace, a pace she maintained, Now shes a girl at the peak of her powers, And so I'm a geek, with buds on the brain." Day 53: Approx 48h into a simulated dry spell. Alright I think it is time for Karen to get her first MAJOR defoliation. I will update shortly with photos and info. I will also be doing some gentle LST to separate the colas a bit. Day 53.5: Defoliation and LST. Finally got chance to photograph that bunda. Enjoy! Day 53.75: Bit of a fail. Messed up the timer and the lights ended up being off for about 3 or 4 hours. Because I was cooling the room (open window) to keep temperature in the tent down, without any light the temperatures absolutely plummeted as it is sub-zero outside. By the time I realised and turned the lights on, the temp in the main tent had dropped to 14 degrees celsius. Whoops! How is that for mistreating your girl? Defoliated about 80% of her leaves, 4 nodes, significant LST, then stuck her in the cold and dark for 1/6 of a day. Not to mention she is now almost 3 days into a "dry spell". There do not seem to be ill effects, and Karen has already begun to respond to the LST; all the colas that had been changed in angle are now upright again. The dry spell I keep mentioning, there is a method behind my madness, I have spotted one or two small flies and I think they may be fungus gnats. I am starting to suspect that the 2nd seedling in the Purple OG Punch Auto grow was actually beheaded by fungus gnat larvae. So I am drying out the mediums as much as I dare. I am closely monitoring the plants, so far the only one I have had to break the drought for is Enigma; all the girls in big pots haven't even noticed it's dry yet. How far am I going to push it? Well I will judge it on a plant by plant basis, but quite honestly I am hoping to see physical signs of thirst before I breakdrought. Of all the plants the two I think will respond most strongly to this will be Karen and Bertha, because of where they are. Karen here is actually probably 4 weeks into flowering rather than two, so about now is a good time to give her a little hydration stress. I do not think I will push it past 5 days, as RH is 34%. By now all the plants will be compensating for the lack of moisture and the high temperatures and low humidity. They will be taking more and more moisture out of the coco, and as the coco dries further and further down, those plants that have space will start desperately growing roots to find moisture. Mark my words, 24 hours after I end this drought, every plant in the tent will throw out crazy growth. Day 54: Ended drought and fertigated 6l, no run off, I will re-fertigate tomorrow. Karen is still stretching her height post LST is now 37cm. The two tallest colas seem to have stopped but the other colas are still stretching. Day 55: Alright so it has been 5 hours since lights on, and Karen is looking in good shape, all her drooping leaves have perked back up and she has added quite a bit of foliar growth. The colas are all still rising, except perhaps the two tallest. This girl is absolutely loaded with pistils, I'm starting to see trichomes on the sugar leaves, but trich production hasn't started in earnest yet. She has a least 20 colas, and 6 of them are thicker/taller than the primary cola at her tip. Every one of her nodes has reinforced itself with a bulbous growth and these cola branches are swelling rapidly. I am increasingly of the opinion that, all being well, this girl is going to surprise us all with her yield. My first grow, which was just mucking about really, I got 60-70g of the two main plants, and they were just bare sticks with 2 colas. Although her height is less than theirs was, 2/3 of their height was bare stick... whereas every mm of her is befoliaged and living. So in terms of the height of the actual cola I think they were about comparable in usable space on a per cola basis. The main difference being that Karen has 20+ colas whereas they had 2 primary and 2 lower. I know that it is probably unrealistic to expect more than 70g from a single auto grown indoors. Nevertheless my gut tells me this baby could achieve at least 100g, perhaps as much as 150g. The next few weeks will determine that, but given where we were in week 3 I will be grateful for any yield of quality bud. I have dropped the lights down to 18/6 from 'tonight' onwards. I really have no idea how long we have left for Karen. According the the "brochure" she flowers for 7-8 weeks, with a total crop time of 9 weeks. The problem is I don't know what a total crop time is? Does that mean from seed to finish? If so Karen is clearly not going to be anywhere near that timescale.I am going to go ahead an assume that, for my plant anyway, the first 4 weeks were veg weeks. I think it is fair to count week 5 and 6 as flowering because pistils were popping out very early in week 5 if not before. So that makes this week four of flowering. I am going to assume 8 weeks rather than 7, so I think we have another 4 full weeks give or take a week. On that basis I am expect harvest week to be around week 12 or so. I am not fixed on this though, I am determined not to harvest this girl early. Day 55: Photos taken 00:00 9/3/23 Strong 24h of veg growth as predicted. Day 56: Existing leaves continue to swell. Stretch appears to be slowing. I've taken so many media this week that I cannot scroll down far enough to select a recent thumbnail. Probably Karen's biggest week in terms of changes. She is looking like she is going to impress. Height 39cm.

The plants are telling us, very clearly: Less touch, more trust. • Untouched plants → massive, explosive structure • Trained plant → slower development In a 12/12 from seed run, this is a key lesson: 👉 Plants behave as if they are already on a clock 👉 Every stress = time they don’t have And they showed it. ⸻ ❄️ Frost Report — “Queens on Frost” What we’re seeing now is not just resin… it’s intention. • Trichome production is fully activated • Sugar leaves are coated • Bud sites are stacking with visible resin heads early This is that stage where: You stop “hoping” for quality… and start confirming it ⸻ 🌡️ Environment & Uptake We kept everything consistent this week: • Temps: ~28°C • RH: ~65% • Strategy: Leaf VPD-driven approach • Water intake: ~1.8L per plant/day Even slightly above “textbook” temps, the balance works because: 👉 Humidity supports transpiration 👉 Plants are actively drinking and processing Result: • No stress signals • Strong metabolism • Consistent nutrient uptake ⸻ 💡 Light Intensity — Reading the Canopy Light intensity across the canopy is currently ranging between 800 and 1500 PPFD, depending on plant size and proximity to the light. This variation is intentional — taller plants naturally sit closer to the source, receiving higher photon density, while smaller ones remain in a slightly softer zone. Rather than forcing an even canopy, we’re allowing each plant to find its own optimal exposure. The key observation this week is simple: they are loving it. No signs of light stress, no bleaching — just strong uptake, active drinking, and increased resin production. It’s a good reminder that in this stage, light is not just about intensity, but about how each plant interacts with it individually. ⸻ 🍃 Defoliation — Controlled Chaos This week we introduced defoliation. Let’s be honest: It went a bit deeper than planned. But still within reason. Rainy week, low temperatures, but a couple of days of hot sun rays :) Should be warmer since now, im expecting random rainy days as we are in April ... ULH1: Watering every day, with nutes every 2/3 days. Grren Explosion 1ml/l and Top Veg 3ml/l. 1 litre aprox ... Its branching like crazy, whats nice. ULH2: Keeps growing, filled the pot this week, amended the soil with 2 grams od Bactrex , 20gr of Startrex and 5gr of Mycrotex. This is higher than the expected dose, but the soil i can get now that all the stores are closed for weeks, is whats is remaining from last year, so maybe its a little dead.... And watering without nutes, you know, its all in the soil with BioTabs.

420Fastbuds FBT2308/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. She is much prettier than she was a week ago :) I remembered that I have my first grow light, which is more compact and it will give me more space, so I changed my light, now the girl's side branches get light too:) I add a lot of video memes, because I really want to win Iphone16 pro ;) and those who don't take risks don't drink champagne:) good luck to everyone.

Day 80, 2nd of December 2020: Hi there! Ladies are cool everything is alright. In one week buds strated doubeling and the developement is dope haha. The 2 Zamnesia ladies are pretty Gelato is so nice bushy and the smell is great as well. Kalini Asia will be a green pheno I think and she my be hermied a bit on me.... I am still waiting to see I see some strange develepement lets say. Sweet Seeds girls are dope unfortunately Red Mandarine and Tropicanns poison don't show any sign of colouting yet but it is okay even if they green phenos.... It may happen in the end of the flowering cycle let's see. Basically that's all I wanted to share. Oh yes... this one: All good the lamp is now on 11 hours and off 13 hours. Every week 15 minutes was taken off and after 4 weeks here we go. Strated 12/12 and now 13/11 wanted try to imitate the nature as the light days are getting shorter. Fertilization has changed no more epsom salt from this week and I will stop giving nitrogen as well from next week. Great job Sweet Seeds and Zamnesia! Nice genetics :) Lovely plants!

On day 1 I adjusted the PH from 6.6 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 13.75" away from light. On day 2 I adjusted the PH from 6.4 to 6.2. The tallest cola is 12.5" away from light. On day 3 the PH is 6.2. The tallest cola is 11.5" from the light. On day 4 I didn't take data points long day... On day 5 the rez PH is 6.2. the tallest cola is 10" from the light. On day 6 the rez PH is 6.0. The tallest cola is 9.5" from the light. I defoliated heavily to bring in more light and airflow. On day 7 The tallest cola is 9" from the light. I mixed up a new rez.

Ola 🙂... the two sisters grow up very well ... first time I try them.. the seeds were given to me by the boy from the grow shop, after buy some Barney's seeds .. With them, under the 205 BD LED light, there is also the sister, who can actually find in the diary SUPER SOIL LED (if you want to see the differences) 😉... 5th week started by giving him a nice lunch based on banana macerate (10 days to macerate), about 0.5 in 1.5l h2o .. pH I never check it when I am using a ready-made soil .. the water I use is quite good and does not contain chlorine (fundamental in organic) .. it has a pH always around 6.5 / 7.5 and is ok ... afterwards I only gave h2o to drink for once, again without letting it come out of the bottom of the vase .. two days after treacle-based sweet like the past week .. this time I gave 1 teaspoon apiece (they will be about 5ml, I think, but that's okay) in 1.5l h2o ... time after still water .. and today, Friday 27th, I finely chopped a bit of barley malt and I made a top dressing, wetting with water in mix with 3ml topmax for 3l h2o, to increase the malt action .. I see just one or two thrips every now and then, but I'm under control .. I have not used anything to drive them out .. only the fan always on and the humidity left slightly higher ... They start to smell good and very sticky too .. I don't know how to describe the aroma at the moment .. sweet .. but complex .. we'll see .. hi, thanks for the time 🙏 and tell me if you like it ... Plants have been growing pretty well. Been going full strength Bloom Khaos foliar with no problems. Defoliated and will be flipping soon. Waiting for them to bush out a bit more and for the stalks to get nice and thicc....

Not bad not bad, by the looks of it she'll be a fatty but i just hope that she'll be ready at the same time as the others. What i want to know is how the bbc can predict when i want my harvest but can't predict when my fucking landlady will break in and faff about it my grow room, long story short 46 makes me 👺 anyways, boucing back from a scare nevermind mind her 46 is my focus lol oh my the things we do... enjoy ! 🚀 Induced resin production by dropping the lightschedule to 10/14 almost immediate effects were smelt, loud and clear : candy shop goodness ! this one is gonna be a sweet one ! 👊

Endlich ist es soweit, die letzten Pflanzen wurden zum trocknen aufgehangen und die ersten Pflanzen bereits probiert. Ich habe 3 Pflanzen an Tag 65 geerntet, 3 Pflanzen an Tag 67 und 3 Nachzügler heute an Tag 73. Pro Pflanze gabs getrocknet und getrimmt 30-40g. Die größte Pflanze hängt noch zum trocknen aber rechne mit ca. 50g getrcoknet.

Very terpy smell, strong and very citric like a pure lemon, very lemony smell basically, nothing crazy but it's very nice, she's producing a lot of resin, you can see she's a good autoflower, not the bets I've grown but it's nice to have something to Harvey's fast. 100% organic grown

I want to thank my buddy @FatnastyzBudz for keeping me company on the phone during my 13 hours trimming, without him i would be lost as it started feel like a punishment task. I also want to thank you my followers for your kind words and encouragement to make her a monster. Without your messages a grow is just a grow, but through growdiaries and each other's diaries we want to challenge ourselves every grow Lots of love to you my new friends. Who am i ? until last november i have always grown hydro for a little over 11 years. But growing started to look more and more like work because i was more busy with programming my controllers for the ph / humidity / lights / soil moisture / temperature. Also the realization that i have 2 children and my own house made me nervous for the authorities because where i live growing is not allowed. So i decided to grow smaller where i previously had 200x180x200 space i opted for 70x70x160 with the result that i can only grow 1 strain at a time. The intention is to remain self-sufficient in this way and still be able to exchange or give away something here and there at a party. Although I am sponsored I will not be able to grow every strain because not every strain can deliver the result I need to remain self-sufficient. If you know of an auto strain or photo strain that takes at least 11 to 15 weeks I would like to know so that I can grow it in the future and of course I will try to set a record for that grown strain. Because during the 4 grows that I can do per year I can only try to achieve a record since I cannot show you multiple strains at once. I am happy that after 11 years I have found growdiaries and that I have met you my friends.Greetings MonyetDiablero.

Week 8 – Day 59 (BT35) RedPure#4 has stopped stretching and remains steady at 40 cm 📏 She’s now clearly maturing – buds are dense and swelling nicely 🌸🍇 According to the breeder info, she should be done by the end of this week 🕔 Overall, it wasn’t a perfect run, but she’s getting there! 💧 I’m currently using diluted osmotic water, but the drain pH remains stubbornly low – between 5.6 and 5.8. Canna pH+ didn’t work well with Advanced Nutrients, so I’ll be switching back to BioBizz pH+, which helped in a previous grow to raise the pH more reliably 🔧

The plant was harvested on day 67 of flower and is now hanging up to dry. I've got the drying environment set at around 58-60% humidity with a temperature range of 15-19°C. Hoping for a nice slow dry to preserve those terps! 👃💨 Will update once it's ready for the next step. Stay tuned! 🚀
