very positive feedback on this strain, requires little attention, the production is incredible as well as the final quality. the buds get fat and very frosty. The taste is very pleasant and besides being a cross with blueberry, the flavor of the strain does not become nauseating, on the contrary, the taste is very sweet, berries and flowers.Dinafem is to be congratulated for this strain from another world. Constructive interference is the phenomenon where two waves combine to form a new wave with a larger amplitude. This occurs when the peaks of one wave align with the peaks of another, and troughs align with troughs, causing their amplitudes to add together. For example, if two identical waves meet, their amplitudes will combine to produce a resultant wave with double the original amplitude. Constructive interference is a fundamental phenomenon based on the universal laws of nature, specifically the principle of superposition. 👋Top is a clean cut, no confusion for the plant, road ahead is clear, by completely removing the main growth tip, the auxin source is eliminated. The plant permanently halts vertical growth from that main stem and immediately sends its energy and hormones to the two new, evenly spaced branches just below the cut. Fimming slightly different because a small tuft of the top growth is left behind, the auxin disruption is temporary and less severe. The plant recovers more quickly and sends its energy to multiple surrounding growth points, often creating four or more new shoots from the same spot. It will eventually regain some vertical dominance after a few weeks if left to its own devices, but with a little more LST, bending the apex to the same height as the rest of the internodes, this shatters dominance, hopefully creating around 8-9 main shoots growing at equal height once recovered and grown out. Reduced environmental intensity for now and let her focus on dealing with this new stress for a week or two. When H+ ions are added to soil, the first nutrient displaced from exchange sites is typically aluminum (Al3+), if it's present, followed by calcium (Ca2+), magnesium (Mg2+), and potassium (K+), because aluminum and these base cations have different binding strengths. The displaced nutrients can be lost from the root zone through leaching, becoming unavailable to plants. As H+ ions increase, the proportion of acid cations (H+ and Al3+) on the exchange sites increases, while base cations (Ca2+, Mg2+, K+) decrease, resulting in a lower soil pH. The amount of photosynthesis (water splitting) directly determines the availability of H+ ions (protons) in a plant. 90% of water is for cooling of photosynthetic apparatus the other 10% is split for its H+ among others things. Carbon sugars, like glucose, do oxidize in soil through a process primarily driven by microorganisms, which break down these sugars for energy. This oxidation converts the sugars into carbon dioxide (CO2) through cellular respiration, a key part of the soil carbon cycle, though some carbon may also be incorporated into soil organic matter. The rate and extent of sugar oxidation depend on factors like oxygen availability, the presence of Fe oxides, and soil redox conditions, which can all influence the process. My understanding of why we flush. Just plain water, what does it do? Strips the medium of salts and nutrients making it empty. What does that do? Triggers nutrient recycling within the plant. What's nutrient recycling? It is a natural part of plant senescence, which can be triggered once you know the switches. A 24:1 carbon-to-nitrogen ratio will also trigger. Why won't it trigger autophagy for me? Nitrogen needs to be gone, gone, gone almost. Ammoniacal (organic) nitrogen takes 4-5 times more water to separate it from soil particles than nitrates so what happens is most people jist flush the nitrates, leave all the ammoniacal in there and this prevents autophagy initiating. Nitrogen decays differently depending on its form during the dry. Ammoniacal nitrogen will oxidize in the air, leaving no trace. But nitrates do no decay and turn volatile and smelly and remain trapped until smoked, no matter how long you cure it does not oxidize. This is why you need to trigger it and begin the denitrification process prior to harvest to get rid of all the nitrates. Otherwise, you will smoke it. Flush till autophagy begins, just make sure you add no nitrogen afterwards. Micronutrients for trichomes. Don't leave the medium empty for 2 weeks, that does nothing but reduce yield 10%ish. Trichomes are another thing. Trichomes themselves are not directly affected by flushing; rather, flushing affects the plant's nutrient uptake, which influences the development and final state of the trichomes. Trichomes are filled with antioxidants in the last weeks, which is what makes them cloudy. A lot of the processing of antioxidants requires energy and nutrients (mostly micronutrients ), so you don't want that soil empty for 2 weeks, you just want the carbon nitrogen ratio 24:1and no higher. She still wants what she needs to ripen. Processing antioxidants is energy-intensive; heat and light accelerate the rate at which THC converts to CBN. This is why you lower DLI, lower temps. By doing so, you reduce the oxidative workload caused by photosynthesis, which opens up the oxidative capacity for the production of antioxidants. THC is mostly processed at night when the plant's oxidative capacity is generally moreso "free and available" for work. Oxygen is the alchemist's "fire"

5/23/2023 Week 7- Day 1 of Flower (Day 110 overall) (Day 49 of Flower) There was a couple of small super small sucker buds on the lower stocks that needed to be cleaned off but that was it. Just watching them Flower!! 5/24/2023 Week 7- Day 2 of Flower (Day 111 overall) Tucked a few fan leaves below lower buds but didn't see any blatant offenders that needed to be removed. I typically do start my checks in Week 8 but since this is a new strain I decided to go ahead and do a Trichome check just to see what was what.. Just as I thought nothing but clear glassy Trichomes. I will check again in one week.... 5/25/2023 Week 7- Day 3 of Flower (Day 112 overall) Just letting them grow today!! Smell is getting stronger I would say it is a hint of Pine and a heavier fruity smell. 5/26/2023 Week 7- Day 4 of Flower (Day 113 overall) I did Nothing but took some pics and I enjoyed it!!!! Other than that I am enjoying watching her mature. I also started my Reverse of the Clone I took 6 weeks ago in Apr from #3. Sept 10th She was ankered to the fence with rope. Notthing to report really. Looking great no sign of mould. Heads are yellow looking. Pretty bizarre. From a distance its is really striking...does'nt show in pictures sadly She is next up for defoliation, together with Killer Kush. Few more days rain till sunny period..fingers crossed. I came back after vacation, the girl is ready for cutting, the rainy weather has started, so there is a threat of rot, you can say I managed to find just a few small pits in time and removed them and threw them away, the big and stiff flowers look fantastic:) but after a long trip I was tired, so I didn't take quality photos :( no everything else, I am very satisfied with the result I got:) its smell already lets me know that it will be good:) a lot of sugar leaves from which I will make bubble hash:) I will update the weight when it dries.

I was still seing signs of of Nitrogen Deficiency [https://www.growweedeasy.com/wp-content/uploads/2010/10/nitrogen-deficiency-yellow-leaf-sm.jpg]. So I increased the amount of Big Plant Science: Part A. I have read that red / purple stems could be a sign of Potassium Deficiency, and since I was going a bit light on Big Plant Science: Bud Explosion, I have now increased the amount in this weeks watering. The lower leaves now appear to lose color between vains instead of the leaves yellowing entirely from the start. This could be a sign of Magnessium Deficiency, and I have just been out to buy Big Plant Science: Aroma Boost, which contains Magnessium. Going to start adding it to the water from next week. Example 1-2: Light green / yellow growth, on top colas on branches hidden from direct light. I am mostly just going to ignore this, and use popcorn buds to try my hands on making Ice bubble Hash.

This will be the last week for this girl , she has stopped feeding now and is in her second week of flush , She is looking too be finnished this week and looking and smelling amazing , Update , 80% pistels are lovely and golden , the tricombs are not quite ready so I would say just a few more days too go then chop chop

I wasn't sure if it was going to make it. It fell over once. It will be an outdoor plant. But for now until it's a bit bigger and I top it, it's an indoor plant. Its a regular photo period plant so not autoflower. Until next week every one happy growing!!

UPDATE: Day 1 of week 14- Thursday 19th Nov!!!! Woop woop! We’re getting close, my magnifying lense arrived and I’ve got my first real good look at the trichomes.. All looking fairly cloudy with about 10-15% ambers coming through. So as we’re super close now I’ve now started flushing. Not doing a run off as have been using Biobizz soil & Nutes. First flush is done and girls are looking happy. One lady seems to have really heavy colas as she’s struggling to stand up straight. So I’ve staked her to keep her more upright. Think she may bring the best yield of all four girls as it stands so far. Final couple of weeks now, I can’t believe I’ve made it this far and really can’t wait to try my first home grown bud🍃 UPDATE: Day 2 of week 14 - Friday 20th Nov: Had to water them early as the girls were very dry after their first flush.. I on average water them every 48 hrs, but they were ready after 36. Already noticing some slight discolouration on the leaves 🍁... Glad I didn’t jump the gun and chop them this week after seeing some amber trichomes.. A bit more LST as they had stretched a little. I’m short on lamp to plant distance but noticed what looked like a little leaf burn on one of the tallest nugs. So did what I could to bring the height of them down just a little 👌 UPDATE: Day 4 of week 14 - Sun 22nd Nov: As soon as the lights went on today, more water seemed required at around 36hrs since the last flush. The girls seem to be loving it! Buds do seem to be fattening up a little more each day and I think one girl is slight more ahead than the others as she has mostly orange pistils compared to the other three.. Still need to see more amber trichomes on all four ladies before they’re ready! UPDATE: Day 5 of week 14 - Monday 23rd Nov: Small amount of LST to keep the girls as even as poss.. Defo seeing some discolouration in the fan leaves now.. All but one of the four girls have nearly completely orange pistils now which are folding back in to the buds. But Trichomes need to be a little more amber before they’re ready.. The fourth lady however is slightly behind with less orange pistils, some white ones still to turn orange and trichomes are still a mix of milky and clear on the lower buds. When I topped this one it didn’t work as well as the others so she has one really massive cola and all the others are much smaller in comparison to the other three plants.. I think we’ve got a week to 10 days left roughly till harvest. UPDATE: Day 6 of week 14 - Tuesday 24th Nov: Another water flush again today.. All seems well, lower small buds still need a few more amber trichomes I think.. But gonna post a question on here to make sure.. Don’t wanna get this wrong. Hello! Semaine 5 de croissance. Je suis très content de l’évolution pour cette semaine. Les plantes ont très bien réagis à la légère défoliation de la semaine dernière. Elles ont bien grandis et se sont bien densifier. Je vais pouvoir espacer un peu les pots pour leurs laisser de la place pour se développer encore. J’ai aussi fabriqué et installé un filet pour le scrog. Je vais rester sur un ec de 1.5/1.6, elles semblent apprécier. Et je leur fait un flushing aujourd’hui, pour limiter l’accumulation de sels dans la coco, je fais ça tout les 15 jours environ. Voilà pour cette semaine... Happy grow...😎

well everything is going alright. nothing to complain about. destroyers are getting a lighter shade in the new growth but still pretty much healthy, just a more natural sativa color. maybe around this time i could have thought about topdressing but i’m more inclined to let them go on with straight water just to see how this mix runs till finish with just water and no extra inputs. though who knows i may just decide to topdress tomorrow haha others seem happy and healthy as well. watered the dinachem pot yesterday with about 4l of distilled water and destroyers got 4l each 2 days before that. caribe and cannalope pot is still pretty heavy. see y’all next week edit; yesterday we had a blackout so timers were set back an hour so i guess when i opened the tent today light had just turned on because they were holding a less intense praying pose so just checked back 3 hrs later now and looks fine now. added those photos as well.

The harvest of my dear Stella was supposed to happen on August 4th, but didn’t begin actually until August 9th. I decided to allow her to dry out a bit before beginning the harvest, but I had some other difficulties which made her dry out a whole lot before I ever even got started. You can tell how dry by looking at the pics and video. Luckily, the dryness was limited to her larger leaves. She was already quite dry on the 9th when I started, and was more so by the 12th when I finished. Even after the advanced drying, her wet trimmed weight was still quite a bit. I’ll list the weights all together in a bit. It took 4 days to get the whole plant trimmed, weighed, and hung up for final drying. She was hung up from August 12th till Friday, August 19th. I got busy harvesting another plant while she was hanging up, and just let her be. On August 19th I took all of her branches down and removed the buds to get the true harvest weight of her buds alone. Let’s get to the weight of the whole thing. The overall wet-trimmed weight of the plant was 18.329 ounces with the buds and branches combined. I was a forgetful idiot and forgot to get the weight of the dry buds on the branches before removing the buds. So all we’re left with is the actual harvest weight of the dry buds alone. The overall dry bud weight, or actual “true” harvest weight of the smokable bud is: 7.317 ounces. That’s a wonderful amount of freshly harvested bud to cure. All of the buds were put into 8 quart sized jars filled roughly 3/4 full, and 1 pint sized jar, also 3/4 full. Each jar has a hygrometer as well as 58% bóveda packs to help aid the curing process. This is the 2nd DarkStar plant I’ve harvested, and both were very large plants. I used a scrog method the first time with a net that spread the whole plant out taking up the entire 4x4 area of the tent. This time I wanted to let her grow more naturally. She got so large that I had to bend almost all of her taller branches over using HST methods. I had to bend 3-5 branches over more than once. By doing that, once her buds began to fatten up she got too heavy and needed to be supported just to stand upright. Toward the end she had to literally be tied up to the side of the tent. Stella (DarkStar) was a wonder to grow, and she gave me a good amount of clones that will soon be harvested themselves. It has been a journey with Stella, and I’m happy that the journey is now complete. Happy growing everyone!

Just used the standard paper towel method, tap root sprouted within 24 hours, I then placed it into the soil then on the 26th she popped out of the ground looking nice and healthy. I breed this strain a few years back with a male OG Kush plant, the seeds were from a mate who had them vac sealed since the early 2000's I crossed it with a female Black domina plant I had and wanted to see how it turned out, I grew it outdoors earlier this year and it turned out beautiful, had an extremely gassy fuel smell with hints of pine and citrus. Keen to see how she's goes indoors. (First times growing indoors btw) wish me luck
