On to week 2. This is interesting to say The least. VS-1 has a strange mutation. These will be sex tested this week. I was delayed because the USPS lost my farmer freeman kits. They came in 10 days late😭😭

First off, that mf holds it's name very well. The smell on that strain is phenomenal. Much of fruity citrus and earthy notes and that's without the curing. I smoked a bit to get a taste. Smoke and taste quite harsh but that should go away with the curing. I harvested 634g wet, including a lot of stems, and ended up with 121g dried. they lost 80% of their mass and I might have over-dried them since I expected to get more tbh. However that's more than enough to get me through next harvest. The 3 plants turned out to be pretty different phenotype. All over pretty great but one could have used denser buds. They don't have the same maturity which means I got buds for all occasions. Kept the trimmings in the freezer for an hour and also harvested 0.67g of kief with a 220 micron bag. A lot of impurities but that was to be expected. I don't think the calcium problem has had a significant impact. Overall very happy with the product and the experience.

Begining of the week, one of them is still struggling. I am going to keep her for now. 1ml/4l bio grow start with small dose, water about 3l every 2 days and spray the top soil when dry

Hello Growmies, The first week of flowering has wrapped up, and I'm pleased to report that she's stretched evenly through the ScrOG. I've been doing some light defoliation where leaves were overshadowing other shoots. She's showing a clear preference for a pH below 6. Anytime it creeps above that, the plant begins to experience nutrient lockout. I'm keeping a close eye on this and will adjust the pH as necessary. Her root system is expanding robustly, gearing up for increased growth above ground. To support this, I've upped the dosage of Orca along with the boost accelerator. These XtraKush are also finally starting to grow. It took them a while but they doubled in a week. Still a little bit pale compared to the other two strains. With a new top layer of first worm castings and then neutral organic cocopeat to combat the gnat problem and we seem to have fixed most problems. Temps are going down at night, I'm trying to fix this by keeping it warmer in the attic where the grow is. In the coming week, I'm going to train/manifold them, they are getting a bit big. The High intensity was to strong (clearly my fault) in the beginning which stunted her overall stretch, she however still delivered super dense, terpene and trichome loaded buds.

I forgot to do the update weeks ago and have now lost the old pictures 😭, so unfortunately there will be harvest pictures of the leftovers on the whole grow 😥. I can report positives about the strain as far as growing is concerned, but unfortunately not my type of strain that I like. I will definitely try the variety again one day from another supplier :-).

Day 43 - First day of week 7 today and she looks really good just not sure if she’s really starting to flower yet. I’m hoping this is just typical of the GC strain. Day 44 - No major changes, she’s growing and I’m loving the looks of her. Will continue uploading daily pictures. Day 45 - She’s looking really good and budding more and more each day. Gave her straight pH’d water today and tomorrow and will give her another feeding on Saturday. She’s drinking almost a gallon of water a day. Day 46 - Things are looking good with this girl. Bud sites are growing daily and this thing is a beauty. Gave her another feeding of just pH’d water and will “feed” her tomorrow. Day 47 - ALL is looking good and she’s looking purdy. Gave her a feeding with the foxfarm nutes today. Did a true measurement to the biggest branch and she’s at 25.5”. Will continue to measure each day to see how much she’s growing in a 24 hour period. Day 48 - Looking gorgeous and still stretching. Grew another two inches and is sitting at 27.5” right now. She’s really starting to fill in now and looking forward to the next few weeks. Day 49 - The way thing thing is growing, she’s gonna be a beast. Gave her straight pH’d water tonight and will give her a feeding tomorrow. Looks like she finally stopped stretching, sitting at 27.5” still so hopefully she’ll start putting on the weight.

Testing 9 seeds I expeckt 2 winners 2 losers and 5 ok let’s see how she rolls! The plant the seeds and pollen cam from a seedling I grew from a seed found in a Bag of SFV that J was given 3 of I back crosses the best with itself !! 3 up already!! 6 playing peekaboo 7 of 9 up 2-3 look hands down better plants !! 8 out of 9 up! 9 up 3 losers and 6 to chose a few winners from!! 9 seams to be good number to ensure I find one exception copy usually 2-3 First cut down to the too3 all 9 did germinate!! The three look strong

BM coming along nicely, a few more weeks and she will be ready to come out , looking to fatten her up on the home stretch now . I can’t wait to smoke this it’s already so sticky and gassy .
