Tomorrow I will add the 2 g GHSC Powder Feeding Bio Bloom because the first blossoms are coming :-). I checked all the leaves thoroughly for pests or diseases and everything is fine ☺️. Next week I'll look at your roots as soon as the coconut is completely rooted. As every week, the tent was cleaned and the entire technology checked. The humidifier was also refilled every day 👍. This week has seen a lot of bushing out. The Banana Kush has certainly found its legs and taken to flower like. Duck to water. Each day tucking leaves under the net but starting to see bud sites slowly forming.

Welcome to week 5 of flower for this lovely project! The ladies should start to put on some serious weight over the coming weeks as I've noticed most plants are done their stretch now (except macmelonz). We got lots of crazy smells coming from these plants some are harder to tell then others but some are extremely pleasing smelling already. Banana Smoothie is really putting off that banana cream smell accompanied by berries as an undertone. Creamy Cereal Crunch smells like Fruit loops and milk , its very unique and very pleasing if your into cereal anyways haha. Over all excited to see what this week will bring! Huge shout out to @MarsHydroLED for making such cool lights and tents that really make growing a breeze. Plants seem to be stretching a bit more but concentrating on bulking up flowers. Some really nice smells coming out. Day#31F Macmelonz is still stretching along but stacking hard and the rest are starting to put on noticeable weight. Day#32F Ladies are grooving along nicely, going to look to trim up some of the middle allow for more air flow to the plants. Day#33F Banana Smoothie #1 and #4 are really starting to put out Banana Cream aromas its quite intense now. Day#34F The canopy deff needs a light defoliation. New week! Tips and help from last week, I had around 1500 ppm and I did flush my roots in water and change everything. Now is around 1000 ppm and dropping 150 ppm a day. Did read about water level in DWC and how to increase the grow with water. I had the water almost up to the root or the level of there the basket is. Now I have 1-2 inch (2-5 cm) below where the roots come out. This create air roots. I'm not sure if it's the air roots or the ppm but my flower is boosting. Can se buds grow!! Trimming so I can keep the same hight. Have any tips or rekomandation? Only have one question for next week and this is: it's looking a bit thigth between the buds and all of the leaf is cristal on it. Should I cut some more leaf? And what leaf should I trim? Is so thigth in there. Or will it grow fine?

Last week went well. She is still stretching some but stacking up bud now. Wonder how it's going to turn out. Didn't do much last week besides removed some fan leaves blocking buds and tucked some others. I adjusted some lst ties to open her up some and she is coming along. It’s looking good not long now just a few more weeks

This was a fun week. She continued to stretch and started to show some flower at the end of the week. I popsicled her to clean her up under the canopy. I'm trying to avoid getting a lot of popcorn when she finishes. I don't want anything under the trellis. She is really showing good growth, and will need some defoliation soon.

📆 Week 15, 30 April - 6 May 2024 30 April - Turned light power to 75%. 1 May - Did a significant defoliation. 2-6 May - Observed and let the plant grow. 📑 I was debating on keeping the lights at 100%, or defoliating the plant. Defoliating won this time. There just wasnt enough light penetration getting to the lower buds (half the plant) to mature them for maximum growth and quality yield. So leaving the lights that bright did not achieve my expectations. It is a tricky situation when you start taking leaves away from a plant in flower, but when shadows are blocking bud developement you have to balance your grow and open it up. My method is to start with the lowest leaves and work your way up, use common sense, discard yellowing and damaged ones first, leaving the healthy green leaf on the plant. Then strategically remove the few that shadow the buds you want more focus on. Starting to see some of the burning I've seen in previous grows and, due to this, I've been paying special attention to the pH in the trays themselves. I've noticed pH in the trays has been about 6.5 and, when I've found this, I've been pulling nutes out of the trays and replacing with fresh nutrients (trying to keep the nutrient level the same when replacing as to not drown the plants). Upward growth has slowed to a halt at this point and the flowers on this /very/ compact plant are starting to mature. The flower size is looking fairly unimpressive but should prove as a good place to improve from. The Sour Diesel next to it is another story! ha.

Curing time. Doing it in jars. I feel like only half the product is full and thick and other half loose and stringy buds. I had many issues getting it right for my first time which I believe led to this. One is watering which I didn’t fully grasp until too late, other is over doing nutes, then I had temp issues. Learning a lot and really happy that I was able to harvest anything.

On may 6, the seedling broke through the earth. Seedling developed well in the first week. It was watered every day with a spray bottle (approx. 50ml a day) with collected rainwater in small circles around the seedling. After day 4, the first roots could be seen at the bottom of the pot. This weeks weather was pretty good for the start. The daytime temperatures fluctuated between 18 and 26 degrees in the first week, as you can see from the past weather data. (The weather report is added at the end of each week and is based on real weather events, i.e. it is not a forecast). As already mentioned the plant receives additional hours light from an LED bulb (17W, 4000K, 2500 Lumen) for the first days to make them more resistant to pests and severe weather conditions. She get around 3 hours additional light. In the early morning i move the plant outdoor.
