Hi growers, Another week has passed, and both phenotypes continue to develop in their own way. One plant is now entering the final stage, and harvest is getting closer. The aroma has developed beautifully, with lovely nutty notes and a subtle sweetness. Under normal circumstances, I would already be harvesting it, but I'm waiting for the seeds from the Ridgelion father to fully mature. The Haze phenotype, on the other hand, is really starting to bulk up, and it is becoming more noticeable every day. The buds are swelling nicely, and it is clear this plant still has plenty left to give. Jedna rostlina už jde do finále a sklizeň se nezadržitelně blíží. Vůně se krásně rozvinula a připomíná oříšky s jemnou sladkostí. Za normálních okolností bych ji už sklízel, ale čekám, až semínka po otci Ridgelion plně dozrají. Haze fenotyp naopak začíná pořádně nabírat na objemu a každým dnem je to znát víc a víc. Palice krásně tloustnou a je vidět, že tahle rostlina má před sebou ještě kus práce. Jsem opravdu zvědavý, jak bude vypadat za další týden. Peace and happy growing ✌️

Another good week for these plants. They all seem very happy and they have started to focus more on bulking up the flowers. They are starting to smell amazing and I'm getting anxious to see these flowers develop over the next few weeks.

Everything is moving forward nicely

So, with the harvest complete and the dry finished, the rest is now going into jars for the final cure and storage. Overall I enjoyed this grow, it needed minimal interventions and had a smaller work load compared to the other grows. The amount of dried flowers is 752g (1.11gpw) so a decent haul, I threw a lot of B grade buds in the hash bag due to the large number of low level flowering sites (I need to rethink my canopy management) and also with the lack of stretch after flipping made the internodal spacing a bit too tight. Managed to extract 215g of grade a hash from her as well which I have pressed into a slab (pictures). I learned many things along the way, namely root health and the importance of keeping organic additions as low as possible. I also decided to try out clones for my next run, just to get a little more canopy and growth consistency - those of which are in an aeroponics tub at the moment waiting to root (picture). Week 1 of veg. In the books and we have a stable of very healthy and incredibly vigorous plants on the grow here. Even the runty one (there’s always one) has shown some signs of strong growth and we may not end up culling her from the mix at all. Over the last couple days, growth has exploded with no signs of slowing down - even after their transplant to the bigger pots👍. They’re doing everything they’re supposed to and showing that F1 vigour at every step. So far, so good and we really couldn’t ask for a better start to this run. We incorporated a very mild solution of our primary nute this week - Druid Berkana. This stuff is a one part system designed for the whole cycle and its proven to be one of the best all-around nute brands we’ve tried to date. Some light foliar spraying with liquid karma continues to mid week and then they’re all on their own👌. Expecting big things from this run and if we get lucky with continued robust growth - might be able to take clones after the third week of veg and flip🤞🤞🤞. Background This project has been a year in strain selection (and another year in the actual making) to get to this point with a viable potential cross. It’ll be a true polyhybrid with a mix of sativa and indica leaning properties for each. We’ve combined an especially powerful hybrid sativa strain of Strawberry with an equally manageable and hard hitting strain of indica dominant Skywalker OG. The hope has always been to combine them and boil out the best characteristics of each. The strawberry is phenomenal in terms of terp profile and a mix of strong head and body effects while the Skywalker is a mind bending, body butter kind of indica with that earthy Kush profile and flowery undertones. The strawberry is prone to botrytis and fasciation but features excellent terps and yields if grown correctly. She’s Also stretchy and somewhat unruly when she gets going. The Skywalker is a contrast in growth characteristics with a squat structure, medium sized buds and excellent resilience and resistance. The plan is to seed out the available females and take cuts of what we can post-stretch to get a closer look at any differing phenos. Still very much early stages for a stabilized new strain but we’ve got the right foundation of solid genetics. Now we just gotta get it off the ground to the next generation👍. We’re predominantly focused on the plants that demonstrate that hybrid vigour and wasting no time with any problem plants or runts. Ok week 5 veg. I usually just let the plants grow through the trellis net. This time I tried a little bit of everything. I did a fairly big trim on leaves. I tied down branches with twist ties and then lowered the trellis net overtop. I may have gone a little overboard. But looking at other peoples diary’s I am seeing a lot of techniques being used so I will giver a shot. Trial and error. **Update** Plants growing up through trellis nicely. After tie down and trim.

Some deficiencies due to PH levels too high. Replaced with new PH pen.. Waiting on recovery, should notice difference by the end of the week.. Going to week 12.😓🎋

Trichromes are starting to be produced and buds are starting to form and get sticky, each plant is developing a nice smell but the strawberry is out performing the rest by a mile definitely a vigorous strain that just wants to go go go! Inter node spacing is crazy and looks like the girls are setting up to make some fat buds hopefully

She is growing bigger and bigger buds are everywhere, did not expect that size and my room size is on his limits with this plant, she would be perfect for heavy LST. Once she will be ready for harvest she will be a beast covered in fat juicy bud shining like diamonds.

I need to take the flowering plant into the 12-12 light period. However, since I do not have enough space, I use 18-6 light time.

I love this plant. Thrives, grows fast and smells amazing!!! Day 63 from seed. I watered with cannazym 2,5ml/l + NRG flavor 1ml/l. I will continue with cannazym only for 1 week+ 1 week with pHed water. Mimosa x Orange punch will be ready for harvest in just 77 days from sprouting!!! One of my best grows ever... It is time to open our eyes and start recognizing truly high-quality cultivation LEDs. I always try to protect myself from becoming a victim of marketing hype. The flower-to-leaf ratio should matter to all of us who grow for personal use and want the best possible final product in the jar, as well as an excellent smoking experience. A high number of trimmed sugar leaves mixed in with the flowers can negatively affect quality, flavor, and cannabinoid concentration, while also increasing the amount of unnecessary burnt plant material. This extra biomass may make the smoke harsher on the throat and lungs over time, and overall it can reduce the quality of the experience!
