Week 16 / Last Week 5,6-6,3 ph O ppm / water

This grow was full of great smells, tastes, and beautiful looking buds with a harvest time of only 10 weeks. Yeah, I would have liked the buds to have came out more dense in some locations, however with such a short life cycle and exotic visuals this strain offers its a good compromise. I was surprised this strain did so well while in hydroponics given its sensitivity to nutrients, but I think the fast earlier growth DWC offers allowed it to sustain. I'm looking forward to doing this strain again with a better nitrogen scheduling and using Great White Mycorrhizae from the start to see how dense we can get these buds. These are the type of buds you can't find in a dispensary anywhere and if your lucky enough to you will be paying top dollar to walk out with them. Building the RDWC set up was quite the process. A couple minor leaks, but I was able to take care of them. I'm now 11/11 in rapid rooters so I won't suggest anything else. No pre germination. I prepared the rooters, put the seeds in, and 3 days later they came up. This is my 3rd run using the same batch of 50 rapid rooters. I freeze the extras and pull them out a day before use. Huge plant which I wasn’t planning on putting a net over, this was not a planned scrog as I only implemented the net at day 12 of flower as I moved the runtz in to a different tent and thought I would stretch this one out to fill the tent. Looks real promising with lots of bud sites, did a little defoliation just to help with light penetration to the middle and lower bud sites.

Vege lights - Mars Hydro FC-4800 Flower Lights - 650w 3400K 1900umol/s PAR, (3) 226w DIY 2900K 630umol/s PAR (678w and 1890umol/s), Substrate - 50/50 sphagnum peat moss and vermiculite in 5-gallon pots Climate Control - Luckily, the lights, winter and normal furnace use all equate to a decent temperature, though a bit on colder side in in vege phase, sadly. Humidifier is needed early and later a dehumidifier is needed when canopy develops. I only grow in the winter months. Irrigation - do not use the emitters in this diary. I was very controlling about this the first couple years but got away from it for far too long at this point. Drying / Curing - Into mesh racks for 9 days. I wet trim and cut down to similarly sized buds for even drying. Temps are controlled around 68F and RH is set to 60%. Then into some 5-gallon buckets with gamma seal lids and (3) 2-way 67g boveda humidipaks (58% or 62%) in each bucket - 1 at bottom, 2 at top. Temp/RH probe confirms that they hold the RH steady at 60-63%. Cost - 0.33 cents (USD) per gram produced. This includes an accelerated depreciation expense for all equipment used, fertilizer, water, electricity for all equipment used, new filters and other yearly purchases - bti, ph strips, sticky traps, etc. I'm a finance guy, so these numbers are comprehensively accurate and purposely err slightly on high side of cost. The only facet not included is the cost of my labor.

420Fastbuds FBT2309/Week5 What up grow fam. Sorry for the late weekly update but was having some technical difficulties. This week has been eventful to say the least. My heater went out letting my Temps drop to high 40'f for a night or two and wow did the plants tell me they're angry. Definitely starting to bounce back but just goes to show the reselants of Fastbuds genetics. I lollipoped and did one more defoliation this week so hopefully flower stage will be smooth sailing. Hello, readers! I've been in a different country this week, so I didn't keep an eye on Mirra. However, my friend came few times to take pictures and add new solution. Because of that I don't know precise temp and humidity. Also I decided not to train the plant, because my friend would've struggle to fix the wires, while the plant grows. I also switched to 35 liters, as I wanted before. Now I have 3 air-pump, each of it consumes 3watt and blows 2.5-3 liter per minute. So, in my calculations it should be enough air. Preflower started 😍 Feeding: I decided to experiment with food. I have some new fertilizers which are waaaay(~50 times) cheaper than the weed-fertilizers. Let's test it. It's recommended dosage of mixing is 10gr/liter to get this NPK proportions per liter. In fact 1 gr/liter of this nutrients rises PPM by 350. And one of them slightly lowering PH, which is good for me. NPK20, B 0.01, Cu 0.02, Fe 0.04, Mn 0.01, Mo 0.002, Zn 0.002 - 30 gr to 35 liters. Or 0.85 gr/liter. N 15.5 CaO 26 - 10 gr to 35 liters. or 0.28 gr/liter.

Gave water at 6.5ph will feed on week 3. I think I've had the light to close. On day 10 pictures you can see the leaves look like there burnt 🤔 or that's what I'm guessing it is. I've raised the light to 1meter it's only at around half power at the moment and showing 21000 lux.

So here we are end of week 9 and is almost the end for Betty . I think 4-5 days and she I'll be ready for the chop . Has been 10 days flush so far and just been feeding her pH water .
