Harvest Day 105

We entered the 7th week of flowering, we are no longer approaching the cut but it is still growing and producing giant buds, the smell remains strong, sweet, little by little we are approaching its end 🙌👏

She's starting to fatten up nicely! Terps still off the meter,and the roots are ridiculous. Definitely one of the best plants I've ever grown.

This plant has doubled in size since the last update but is still considerably small considering it wont stretch for much longer as it's about to flower

8 week We have 12 strong plants and one skinny one. They start drinking more then 1.5 l with one application of water. Smells really sweetly and fruity. I really love it!

This lovely girl is just getting more and more beautiful. She is packed with buds that are swelling very well. They are nice and sticky to touch.

Week 2: Light Struggles, First Adjustments & the Patience Test Update: 14.03.25 Good morning, grow fam! Week 2 of my photoperiod journey is running – a mix of challenges and small wins. Here’s a look at the early days of my Blueberry and Durban Poison seedlings. Current Observations: Light Deficiency & Stretching Stems The first days post-germination were intense: The seedlings developed extremely long, thin stems (check the photos!), a clear sign of insufficient light. Since I’m intentionally avoiding extra lighting to save resources, I had to improvise: - Tray Rotation: I rotate the seedling tray multiple times a day to ensure even exposure to the weak March sunlight. - DIY Support: For the most stretched seedlings, a bent wire acts as a crutch to prevent them from collapsing. Interestingly, the tomato and cucumber plants in the same tray show no issues – their stems stay compact. Seems like veggies are better adapted to low-light conditions than cannabis! Nutrients & Alfa Boost: An Experiment Even though my Biobizz Lightmix should provide enough nutrients for the first weeks, I tested a sample of Alfa Boost (freebie from the grow shop) during watering. The product claims to boost roots and stress resistance – perfect for my light-stressed babies. So far, no negative reactions, but no explosive growth either. Slow Growth – No Cause for Concern The plants are growing just millimeters per day, but that’s okay. My focus is on building sturdy, resilient plants, not speed. Once days get longer and sunnier, growth should pick up. They’ll stay indoors until mid-May anyway – plenty of time to bulk up. Next Steps & Tweaks - Transplanting in 1–2 Weeks: Once the first true leaf pairs emerge, they’ll move to small pots with my Biobizz All-Mix blend. - First Topping Soon: Once the plants hit 4–5 nodes, I’ll top them to encourage bushier growth. Week 2 Takeaway: Patience is key! Even in suboptimal conditions, I trust Dutch Passion’s resilient genetics. Fingers crossed for greener progress next week. Another week closer due a bit of a heatwave this week according to the forecast temps. Were at 30 today humidity 55 will needty keep. Ma eye on tht

Performed some HST this week. Pics and video were taken 2 days after the bending. I bent the main stalk a little lower than 1/2 way down. She was getting a little closer to the HPS light than I liked (but no signs of light burn). I expect her to stand straight up again in a few days but with a new knuckle at the bend point. Then I'll probably bend her over again 👍

Another week in the books. They are getting close to harvest and I switched them to plain pH adjusted water. Another 1-2 weeks.

Purple purple purple! I want to keep her going until the entire thing is purple but the trichomes are mostly amber and without side lighting the bottom buds are just not developing fast enough comparatively. So rather than make the experience just be me falling asleep every use, I'm going to opt to chop her tonight or tomorrow probably. It's been 4.5 months and I need to get the tent set up and make this bucket 100x better!

D29 Topped all her main node sites, going from 4 to 8 branches. Defoliated canopy to reduce overlap and promote airflow since I saw minor bites in my leafs. D31 ALL my new growth looked brown? This combined with the increasing biteholes in my leafs told me I had to act. I suspected the brown growth to be a root/overwatering issue so made sure to hold off on watering for now. For the bugs I used a 3% hydrogen peroxide dilluted 1:10 in a spray bottle with water. Sprayed leafs bottom and top till drenched, kept coming back every day to spray whenever i felt like it. D34 No increase in any signs of bugs, all new growth was completely green, new branches growing out. Seems like the treatment worked and decided to feed again since soil 10cm deep was dry. 4L with 0.5:1000 calmag 1.5:1000 grow and 1:1000 PR. Watering slowly to ensure even distribution of water throughout soil, want that rootmass to grow huge! D35 Weather forecast for upcoming weeks looks amazing, moved her outside again. Since the autos im currently running need light priority for early vigorous growth, my Frisian lady had to make do with very low PPFD levels (80-250). All things considered she performed really well this week recovering from bugs, root issues and very low light intensity.

The NEW fruto de la colaboración con el famoso Sherbinski, nos esperabamos una joya especial dado al alto precio y el hype que tuvo nada mas ser presentada en el Spannabis. Por desgracia nos salio un Pheno bastante vigoroso, muchas ramas pero pocos internodos, se estira mucho en flora y al no cambiar micho de color no fue nada especial para la vista. El producto final fueron cogollos esponjosos con bastante resina pero terpenos muy flojos. Terps a Cookies, cremoso dulce y un toque picante /especiado. High bastante regular. Precio/Calidad = Malo (no recomendable)

Fruity Pebbles #2 has sprouted and is getting acclimated. So far everything is looking good. She is growing in Athena nutrition while #1 plant is in Blue Planet. Everything is looking good at the moment. Curious to see how the results differ. Week 9 is still going, the next days i upload some pics of the Strawberry Cough too. And more close ups I Stopped with biobizz scheme now and give only water, maybe it was the last time watering dunno now. Strawberry Cough is strong really Sativa pheno and pretty foxtaily this week :D She was the last in germination and pretty slow early on

Just finished week 6 and I have to say she is looking so healthy and started to fill out lovely now 😀 gave her a couple of leaves trim as they was starting to overgrown the leaves below and wanted to give the plant much more light to help her grow to her potential. My earlier worry about being stunted with early progress issues has well and truly disappeared as you just continues to grow from strength to strength! Happy days happy growing !
