We are starting flowering this week, the transition period was 24h of darkness from May 11th to 12th. A few days after changing the light time we noticed the first pistils appearing (May 18th), then we took two clones from the bottom and removed a few leaves from them.

Destiny has given me a wonderful climate so far but from the 18th the weather will change completely, precisely in the last 10 days of flowering which fortunately is very accelerated by the anomalous heat, especially at night. Typical late summer weather here, kinda for weed. First storm is expected on Saturday, I'm ready to protect them. I've made the last rearrangement of the tent, trying to give more room to the vigorous and overflowing Pineapple Kush so I've rised the roof to 110". The plants are all carefully sprayed with thyme extract to control mites infection, it seems to work, infection is stable from 1 week. I kill manually 20/30 bedbugs a day. During nighttime, maybe a monster grasshopper, is munching some leaves, at this point I don't care, I have to defoliate anyway and these bastards don't chew buds, for now. Perfect filling, very frosty, enormous main bus is forming and a dozen of big & fat lateral colas are ripening. Pine resin/wet earth scent. Expected harvest time September 4th week but she's ripening fastly so maybe she can gnaw her sister Gorilla a few days. My Blackberry Moon Rocks plant is looking fantastic! I chopped down the first one a few days ago, and it's almost dry. Can't wait to try it out. The other plant still has about a week to go. It's got these huge buds, and they're starting to get this awesome purple color. I'm really excited to see how it smokes. The past week has been awesome for drying my plants. The weather's been perfect – nice and dry, with just enough breeze to keep things moving. I finally got around to chopping down those two big plants I've been meaning to trim. They're almost ready, just need a little more time to dry out completely. I can't wait to see how they turned out.

Hello everyone and thanks for stopping by. The start of this journal is a little overdue, but real life gets in the way sometimes and I kept having to delay. I initially had planned to run the Samsquanch OG strain from Mephisto and had even started a journal, but I had some issues starting off and the seeds just didnt take well for whatever reason. I tried to germinate my last 4 of those seeds after the originals failed, but only 1 came up. Still cant figure out what went wrong, but instead of waiting and ordering new seeds I decided to pop these freebies that they game me and the girls had absolutely zero issues and are off to a great start! I transplanted into the net pots on 10/20 (Day 4) after some nice long roots came out. I top fed for a few days until my roots were reaching down through the net pots. Everything is running pretty optimal thus far! Light is set about 40inches away 40% power right now. Daytime Temp is 78f and night is around 72-73f. RH is 62-65% EC 0.5

Plants are growing good. I accidentally broke the tip off of the Norther light plant. Ahh 😱

High GD community Week 16, Zuchinis all around, tomatoes getting ready on a daily. Cucumbers are getting almost mature proportions. Everything going well. Terra preta Location: center perma garden Surface: 125cm x 105cm Depth: 115cm The hole was dug out over 3 days, it were very sunny days. 😅 Theres mostly loamsand with a small sandloam bottom that was very hard. The sand was also very compressed and hard. The top layer is this grey dusty soil of about 40cm deep. At the bottom theres pure sand thats soft, easy drainable. First step is to fill up the entire bottom with fine chopped wood, progressively using bigger pieces of wood. I try to use some hardwood like oak to for its extra K (potassium = pot ash). A bit of charcoal to. This will take the entire first day, bcs it needs to have a minimal ticknes of pure ashes of around 5cm. Otherwise, after compressing it with the upcoming layers, the ash-line would almost disappear. Not all the wood needs to be burned entirely. Its a first layer with lots of N and K. Bones can be used to in the fire making the NPK complete. But it can be added also as a separated layer. I dont have that much bone material because my 2 dogs, or eating, or burry them somewere. Little warning at the end, be aware of your local laws applied to open fires. 😅😉 After a good burn ive got between 8 and 12cm of ashes in total over the entire surface. A small layer of soil (5cm) is put on top of that. Theres no need to harden out that layer, pressure will to the work and the layers will compress over time into ideal circumstances. On to the next layer!! Next is a layer of the compost, but the part that isnt allready decomposed. Its green/brown/yellow of color. And a bit of everything, grass, weeds, leafs and some thin branches. Another layer soil to cover that up. Now i formed a thin layer of chopped(10mm) wood(beech), just enough to make a thin,almost 1 piece high, layer. On to this i added a complete wheelbarrel of compost(black) with small pieces of still not completly decomposed materials. Lots of worms here. On that, you guessed it, an other layer of soil. I try to have both types of soil in that mix, the almost pure sand and the more grey type. Next, back to the beech. This time the rest of the bag follows. Theres a good layer of around 3cm deep. On this ive layed down some new small woodsticks to make a small fire again. Starting at the center and adding some last branches i found. It turned out really smoky!! Half way the burn ive opend the core of the fire, trying to spread the small pieces of char over the complete surface. After that, i added for the first time some water here. And an other layer of soil again, this is just covering up each time. Max 5cm!! Now we are at the upper half of the pit. Still 50cm to go. Now ive added some compost again, the green/brown/yellow one, with on top of that, a 15 liter bucket with compressed bokashi fermentated kitchen leftovers. Making a layer out of that and some fresh bokashi juice with 10 liters of water to drain those benificial bacteria into to compost layer just underneath it. This layer is almost 20cm tick. Again, yeah, soil, 5cm. Ive bought some blond peat to at to to toplayers. Last 25 to 30cm of soil, is a mix of the peat(20%) and the two other types of soil. First ill do tiny layers of each, last 10cm i try to mix it. And to finish the job, ive took some 100% reused and composed soil with some perlite in it from past use. I havent watered a lot, but the meteo predicts a good amount of water in the upcoming days. The soil that stayed and didnt get back to its original place, ive used to make a new top layer on the rest of the mini field. I havent used clay because it was hard to find or just to expensive. Beside the peat(250l), i didnt buy anything. So its labor intensive, but real cheap. Zum Angießen gab je 2l Wasser mit ph 6.3 und 1g/l Enhancer und ein paar größere Blätter noch rausgenommen, aber nicht viele. Nur genug um den kleineren Nachzüglern der Triebe noch eine Chance gibt hoch zu wachsen. Tag 45:weil es gestern spät wurde heute nochmal 1l ph 6.2 Wasser mit 1ml Calmag gegossen und die Ladys saufen wie blöde 😊 Tag 46: die basen funzen nicht weil der Boden der Töpfe komplett trocken war, dummer Anfängerfehler, ist aber auch das erste Mal dass ich sie nutze, also Töpfe in 2l von unten in ne Wanne angewässert und dann wieder auf die basen zurück 😊 Tag 47: 1l Ph 6.2 Wasser mit 1ml/l Calmag von oben um den Dünger weiter ins Substrat zu spülen. Tag 48: sämtliche Erdhaken entfernt, you are free now Girls Tag 49: Lichtstärke nochmal um gut 100 ppfd erhöht Ende Vegetationswoche 5

I took the tiny plant out of the tent due to state laws. She is happily sitting in a window... we'll see what happens with her! Massive growth for both plants this week! They both doubled in size! I don't know whether to call my plants vegging, pre-flowering or flowering. I figured this was the last week of veg and next week is full on flowering!! They both stink! Gassy for sure! I'll need to turn start using my carbon filter soon... I caught a few cool time lapse videos this week. Especially after feeding them last night!! I fed them twice this week. The first time was at a third recommended dose and I jumped it to half yesterday. The leaves are clawing at the top of the plants... I think it is a lack of phosphorus due to me only watering them the last 2 weeks. Any thoughts out there? I'd love advice about defoliating... I have a couple massive fan leaves I could remove to open the canopy for flowers... I just don't want to stunt the plant or rob the main cola of a major energy source... Thoughts are definitely welcome! I tried my hand at LST... I think a few are working and a few aren't doing the job... Definitely need to figure this out! Again advice is welcome! Week 8 Flower This was the last week in The Fox's Den for this stunning Pineapple Kush girl by Royal Queen Seeds. She smells dank asf and still super gassy (which is something I absolutely love ⛽) she was flushed all week with 6pH water for each flushing (I use tap water between 150-190ppm). She was taken down on Day 56 to finish off a great 8 weeks. Her fan leaves were taken off and she was hung in a box, where she'll dry as slowly as possible for between 6-10 days. The slower the dry the better the buds will taste/smell. Once she's dry enough she'll be trimmed and jarred for curing. Realized when I setup the soil that I forgot to give it a good soak and allow to sit for 24 hours. It's just straight out of the bag and I feel like I'm not watering them enough.

I don't think I could have got 6 of these in my grow space they need a lot of room and airflow. nice strain looking forward to testing the strength.in my TCHECK METER. 18.2% THCa. lesson learned on pruning airflow and RH all very important I caught the bud rot right away I will keep a close eye on the dry and cure for mold. fingers crossed I will not have it. going to do a sulfur burn in tent and garage to reset for next grow. 000
