Welcome back all, following a week that has been a fairly straight forward seven days or so in Fat Yappa's Garden, as the older Bruce Banners reach day 51, day 44 for the runt of the sisters, planted on the same day but that took a week longer to germinate, and day 42 for the two Wedding Cheesecake's, one growing in Coco Coir, the other in the same living soil as her Bruce Banner Fastbuds cousins. The week began with last weeks humidity issues brought well and truly into hand with the addition of the new 20L dehumidifier from Meaco, specifically designed for the UK weather. However a shift in the aforementioned from the falls dawn of an early spring, to a return to more usual climate conditions for this time of year through things off kilter once again. Despite pulling around 6L of water out the air a day, she was struggling to keep the RH down to around 50% with my central heating returned to its usual position of 18c, but an increase to 20c has taken things back in line, and the humidity has returned to the mid 40's I was aiming for. Humidity concerns during this off period however, and a subsequent inspection below the top layer of the canopy, which resulted in the discovery of quite a lot of whitish, moist growth, prompted a mass defoliation, mostly of the Bruce Banners. I had been performing very light defoliation up until this point, only removing dead/almost dead leaves, and very select leaves from the top of the canopy that were blocking what looked like bud sites, but the lack of light and air getting through past the top layer, together with the fact that now bud sites are far clearer to a novice such as I, lead me to the conclusion that the time was right. Besides the runt, all these plants have not even skipped a beat. The runt has been a bit droopier in her leaves than the others all in all, but I have looked in on them and seen her with leaves pointing up and praying a few times since so I trust all is well. Following the defoliaton on day 47, the plants stuck to their two day watering schedule, but di threatened to need an increase to daily, as day 50 saw waterings a mere 24hrs after the previous day, but feeling the weight of the pots yesterday I elected to wait til 48 hours to water again. The water amounts per plant has also become more erratic than previously, so I have been watering more carefully. Other than that the week has been pretty much plain sailing, and what look like to be some big looking flowers coming up all over the canopy, as all bar the Wedding Cheesecake in living soil are now fully in flower, but she will be there by next week. The Bruce banner I accidentally snapped the top off from the second node down doing LST a few weeks ago seems to be about half a week ahead of the other two of the same age, and trichomes have began to appear on the leaves around the buds. The biggest plant in the tent is still the wedding Cheesecake in Coco coir, as she now stand a metre tall and her top is the same level as the light now. Her size is a concern because it has caused me to neglect her in favour of the other plants, certainly in terms of light, but she doesn't seem to have any more bud sites than the other plants, and for the time being at least, her older cousins are leaving her to shame in this department, but she still has a week to catch up. Lastly, day 39 saw another compost tea feeding, the same recipe as last time. Happy growing everyone, and I will catch you all again next week.

📆 Semana 3: Con la EC ya controlada y estable, se termina de ajustar el pH en el coco, afinando la disponibilidad de nutrientes. Las raíces se mantienen blancas y activas, con buena colonización del sustrato y absorción uniforme. Las plantas consolidan el estiramiento, mostrando ya preflores claras y una estructura más definida. El verde lima se va equilibrando hacia un tono más sano, manteniendo buena turgencia y orientación hacia la luz. Se intensifican los primeros aromas y la entrada en floración es ya evidente, con una transición limpia tras la fase de ajuste. Seguimos creciendo fuerte 💪

Excellent quality and quantity with this harvest! Will look to to control the stretching phase of flowering next grow.

I have to say, overall out of all 5 purple Lemonade seeds I’m not very happy with the results so far considering they was a little more pricey & the fact that I know how good these plants can turn out! Not sure if I just got some bad genetics or what’s up but pretty bummed about this run so far😅😅 hopefully things will start to look up! Watered the other ladies today. Day 25 - Ladies are still stretching like crazy!

Er gået over alle forventninger igen fik toppet hende! Troede jeg havde fået dræbt hende grundt ph plus chok men jeg skiftede alt van ny gødning og ph 5,9 også skyllede jeg rødderne rigtigt godt tog de største blade væk:) og nu kan jeg ikke se hun har været ved at dø!/) Hydro er bare det bedre og man kan hurtigt rede sine fejl:)

Tag 45: Leider hat eine Pflanzen braune Flecken bekommen. Vielleicht weil ich den Ph wert einmal bei 6,2 hatte? Der anderen Pflanze hat es nicht geschadet. Die schlimmsten Blätter hab ich heute mal entfernt, jedoch scheint sich das ganze noch weiter auszubreiten. Zum Glück ist es nicht mehr lange bis zur Ernte. Diese sollte spätestens in 4 Wochen sein laut RQ.

Drying

🌸 Week 3 Flower — Bud stacking begins! 🌸 This week was a turning point — stretch finally slowed down and the plants are now fully focusing on bud formation. The tent started getting really humid due to the extra leaf mass and transpiration 🌿💦. That’s when I realized: a dehumidifier is a must. Without it, RH would climb over 70%, which is dangerous at this stage. Temperatures are still steady (27°C day / 20°C night), but now I’m working on dropping humidity to ~55–60% for safer flowering. Nutrient-wise, I reduced nitrogen even more, focusing on PK boosters and bloom nutrients. Bud sites are stacking nicely, pistils are shooting everywhere 🧡, and the first serious trichome production has started ✨. Mistakes from earlier (too much IR, uneven light distribution) are still visible on some plants, but overall the crop is healthy and vigorous. Next week should be the start of real frost explosion ❄️.

Time for drying. Btw drying them like this was a bad idea buds are pressed from one side may be conceded to move them, well I still prefer hanging drying 🤪

Day 32 flower update Emerald Harvest nutes everything looks great...they're fattening up this week...they're all 60-70 day flower times as recommended by the breeders

🌱 Week 24 Update (Early Flower / Flip Week) Everything is looking real good this week 🙌🔥. The flip is officially underway, and both ladies are responding exactly how you want during early flower.Red Hot Violet is stretching just right — not too crazy, but enough to tell she’s gearing up for some thick bud sites 💜🌱. Her structure from veg is paying off now.Amaretto Sour is holding strong, still pushing that lemon-blueberry aroma 🍋

12/15: Some plants are taking too long to transition and stretching beyond my space constraints, so I dialed the photoperiod back to 12/12. 12/16: Fed today and rotated edge plants. Added another 150w of 3000k below the canopy. 12/17: Worked on ventilation...no A/C necessary now, as I'm using another AC Infinity 6" fan to intake outdoor air into the closet whenever temps reach 75f..and it's been cold as hell outside.👍 The final trick will be to replace the 6" exhaust fan with an 8" so as to be able to fully exchange the closet air faster ...but that's gonna have to wait til next season.

Day 92 from seed the plant has responded very well to lifting her up to have more exposure to the light the buds start to fatten them right away unfortunately it's too late to get huge buds as I was hoping in the beginning but nevertheless for sure it will give me a very good quality flower despise the lack of light in the most important weeks for Bud development and unfortunately that time cannot be claimed back despise that she looks beautiful and I'm sure she will be delightful to smoke . ENGLISH BELOW ESP: Estas dos mangos fueron preciosas de cultivar. Cogieron un tono azulado y algunos pétalos se volvieron de un color rosa muy fuerte. No fue difícil de cultivar aunque la empezara en octubre, tuvo la visita de algunas orugas pero no causaron casi ningún daño. -Empecé el cultivo en octubre, esto y la falta de luz hizo que mis plantas no llegaran a la altura deseada, no tuvieron todo el sol que necesitaban y se espigaron. Les hice un corte FIM a una planta y apical a la otra, lo cual hizo que las puntas desarrollaran una forma curiosa. - El producto final son 23,3 gramos de cogollos no demasiado prietos pero muy resinosos y con unos colores preciosos. - El sabor es algo difícil de definir. En el sabor no he encontrado el coco, pero sí las frutas tropicales, mango y cítrico. Y me parece haber saboreado algo de hierbas. Es un sabor agradable aunque solo lo haya curado durante tres semanas. -El colocón es indico, pero empieza como algo cerebral y se va extendiendo por el cuerpo pero sin dejarte k.o. A mí me ha convencido, he disfrutado cultivándola, la recomiendo a quien esté pensando en probarla These mangos are amazingly gorgeous. They took a bluish tone and some petals turned a very strong pink color. It was not difficult to grow considering that I planted it a little late, I only had the visit of some caterpillars. There are some pics of one of them. -I started cultivation in October, this and the lack of light caused my plants not to reach the desired height, they did not have all the sun they needed and they sprouted. I made a FIM cut to one plant and apical to the other, which caused the tips to develop a curious shape. - The final product is 23.3 grams of buds not too tight but very resinous and with beautiful colors. - The taste is something difficult to define. In the flavor I have not found the coconut, but the tropical fruits, mango and citrus. And i think i tasted something herbal. It's a nice taste even if I only cured it for three weeks. -The high is indicated, but starts as something cerebral and is extending through the body but without leaving k.o. It has convinced me, I have enjoyed cultivating it, I recommend it to anyone who is thinking of trying it00

This week things are swelling quick great ! The purple is showing up more but still only trace amounts. The black has no signs of changing colour however I already know my pheno ain’t the one ☝️ . But the purple shows promise!! Slow at cloning and a higher mortality rate then the black amnesia haze. This one almost every single clone I made all root amazingly ! Highly recommend for its yields and ease in the grow room. You can really feed it high . Still unknown why the purp has curling leaves but from others grows I see it’s fairly common . I’m guessing it prefers a slightly more alkaline PH . I’ve been using citric acid to ph correct and every time I sway a little low like 6.4-6.2-5.9 the plants leaves curl slightly more. Most mixes are in the 6.8-6.5 range however.
