It started out with the usual feed and defoliation and training. With my upcoming vacation, I am going to be hardening off these ladies to relocate to their outside location. I checked the expected weather forecast for the week. Looks good to start hardening off. Partly cloudy with temps in the low to mid 80s just like in their tent. So that’s good. Night temperatures were in the 50-60s. This is much cooler than what they are used to as our house is at 73. They need to get used to what mother nature will provide. Our summers are hot and humid. I had planned to bring the plants back in the sunroom but since conditions were similar, I let them stay outside every night. And every night but 2 it rained. I did not water or feed nutrients this week. I am attempting the scrog technique on all plants. I am using a peony cage as the support structure. The cages are about 2 feet high. This may not be enough side or top support as she grows and may have to resort to tomato cages. Took pics May 6,9, & 11 Opium is a vigorous lady. She will be my glamor girl. She is taller and has the typical sativa structure and has space between the nodes. There is not much leaf growth, so I don’t defoliation much. Her nodes are close but starting to spread out a bit. The plant has been doing remarkably well and is beginning to flower despite being trained very little and the fact that is growing in a 3 by 3 foot space with four other plans she is showing remarkable capabilities of creating lots of branches that will become in flowers if light is capable to penetrate on them so is a great plant for Novus because allows you plenty of time for training and for experts I like to so they can get maximum yield out of this one can't wait to see this flower start to develop . 11/10 Week 7 Long week Maggie is responding well to treatment, will continue until I see something that says its gone far enough. I know she needs defoliation but I just hate to take health(ish) leaves when its already stressed. Maybe next week air flow is good. May add some sulfer to the mix but keeping it as is otherwise, 6.8 PH, 1-2% H2O2 and CalMag in a day or two as she drys. Brandy... not sure it did as much for her but see nothing that says stop so will continue as the pot drys. Layla ya got me on my knees... shes my girl. lovely not perfect but has handled things that left other plants stunted and yellowed. Were she a photo I would have cloned her. Continuing feeding as I have, may add Karo may not, defoliation continues as needed. May this continue God willing and the creek dont rise. Last note - Raised the lights up 4 inches to 22" for better dispersal across the canopy now that its getting used. Think this strain likes that. 11/11 Looking better. Did some defoliation on Maggie, nothing stressing and mostly damaged leaves though some were for blocking bud sites Same on Brandy though less so. Picking up some chemical bloom nuets so I can continue lightly feeding them through these treatments, the organics are getting blasted by the h2o2 Layla looking her usual lovely self, buds building, her and Maggie get fed today, Brandy still too wet. 11/12 Brandy still not dry enough, may adopt the feeding I set out for Maggie below when it is time. Changing the treatment on Maggie, for one feed only dropping the calmag and adding two TBS of Epson salts , fish sh!t and recharge to get the bug healthy, and continue the cocotek nuets for the time being, it the only mineral fert I have, to the water at 6.5 PH . Believe the H2O2 has done all its going to do repairing the roots and now I can address the sulfur (i hope) issue. Plant is huge BTW so if I get her producing, yield is going to be huge. IF Layla just continue as before, the Dr Earth is doing a marvelous job of covering all the bases. Will absolutely use this when I go back to organics. Had to reset the lights again... Maggie :) 11/13 New Pics of Maggie as she is the only one causing me concern, no feed today still too wet Defoliated bottom 1/3 of Maggie getting rid of all unwanted under growth. Will continue as it goes. Large leaves looking normal now. 11/14 Feeding time: Maggie and Brandy - 1 gal at 6.5 1.5 TBS Epsom Salt (decided to hit the middle), 5ml cocotek A&B , 6ml Fish Sh!t holding the recharge for next time. Layla - 1 gal at 6.5 5ml Cal Mag , 5ml Bio-Bloom, 5ml Fish Sh!t Getting a bit of height growth on Maggie. Expect more if we are right on this. Decided to hold off a mag/Sulfur foliar until tomorrow if needed. New Vid posted few minutes post feed. February 2, 2021 (Week 4, Day 29): The plants grew enough overnight to top at the third node. This is the second and last time I'll be topping these plants - this is the Nebula method of manifolding. I also took off the second node of each growth stem as well as the original fan leaves. I've pressed them in my plant press to save the memories of my experience with my first grow. I also redid the LST on every plant. The new growth sites I've pinned to the fan leaves. I really enjoy doing LST, it's quite therapeutic to figure out just how to support the plant without harming it. I think I am getting great lateral growth so far. The main growth stems are swelling a lot at the bases. Medium is still wet from yesterday - lightly tilled about a half inch of top soil. I've turned down the humidity another 5% this week. I'll keep it there most likely until I start the flowering cycle. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. Plants are happy, and I am happy. 😸 February 3, 2021 (Week 4, Day 30): Plants are looking good this morning. The nitrogen toxicity in Unknown 2 is beginning to subside. Now Unknown 1 seems to be having a nitrogen toxicity as well - slight leaf curling at the ends with a very lush and dark green color. I am assuming this soil is still very hot. As I've lowered the humidity I suspect more nutrients are being sucked in through the roots instead of transpiration through the leaves. I think the plants are going to take a little bit to get used to the hot soil, but I bet once they do they'll be as happy as ever. Medium is still slightly moist this morning, no watering. I tilled a half inch of top soil again to keep everything aerated. Most likely will water tomorrow or the next day. My LST seems to be holding nicely. I tied down Unknown 2's first growth tips as the fan leaves have finally straightened out after the topping yesterday. New growth tips are emerging nicely from the third node of each lateral stem. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else to report for today. February 4, 2021 (Week 4, Day 31) : Growth looks good overnight. I think this second topping is confusing the plants a bit. Lots of bulking of the stems, but not much lateral growth. I have a feeling they'll take off over the next few days. They're still growing really well. I posted a grow question last night having to do with little white bead-like structures growing on the surfaces of the leaves on every plant. I was concerned it may be a mold or fungus starting to grow. I did a bunch of research and it seems to be early trichome development called "sessile glands". I still have the question open and I am trying to get confirmation. Really hoping if they're trichomes that's a good sign that these plants are going to be frosty. I uploaded some pictures to show the development. Over night they started to grow everywhere on the leaves - hopefully they really are just trichomes and I am being over-vigilant. Better safe than sorry. I watered the plants today without nutrients; 3 liters per plant pH'd to 5.8. Runoff sitting at ~6.5 pH now which is much better. I'll continue to run 5.8 pH solution until I see the pH of the soil come down to at least 6.2-6.3. Tomorrow I'll most likely have to defoliate a bit and tie down the second sets of growth stems, as they're beginning to stretch and grow vertically. Averaging 60% rH and 76℉. Happy growing all! 😸 February 5, 2021 (Week 4, Day 32): The plants are exploding with growth now. I defoliated the fan leaves from the first node on every plant and tied down the growth stem for lateral growth. These plants are meaty as hell. The stems are thickening really quickly and I am getting tons of foliage and stem growth. The third nodes are starting to come around. I think I figured out the "mold" issue I thought was starting. They're definitely trichomes, not mold. I touched the leaves that were sparkling and my fingertips got sticky, oily, and reeked of weed - so that's great news. The smell in my grow room is getting stronger every day. While defoliating this morning I found my first pre-flowers on Gelato 1! It looks like all the plants are female, but Gelato 1 threw some pretty pistils at me to get my attention. Seems like the plants are reaching maturity. Depending on growth over the next few weeks it may be time to switch to flower soon! I am aiming for about 16" in veg before switching. Seeing these pre-flowers made me so anxious for flowering. Unknown 1 and Unknown 2 are doing great as well - all the signs of the nitrogen toxicity have subsided. Unknown 2 has more trichomes on the leaves than any of the other plants, and its foliage is a beautiful deep green. They are either different phenotypes or different strains entirely as the two of them are growing and looking quite different. Unknown 1 is much lankier so I suspect a different strain. Unknown 2 is especially squat and I suspect it's 100% indica or close to it. Medium is still wet. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. No other news today. February 6, 2021 (Week 4, Day 33): Last 24 hours I have seen at least an inch of lateral growth per growth stem on each plant. These girls are absolutely loving life from the looks of it, they're growing incredibly fast. I redid a bunch of LST today. Had to move every tie up one node. Medium is still moist. Lightly tilled half inch of top soil. Gelato 1 is shooting out more pre-flowers. Thanks to my wife we have new friends that have joined us in the smart pots. 😸 Averaging 60% rH and 75℉. Happy weekend everyone! February 7, 2021 (Week 4, Day 34): These girls are chugging right along. Tons of great lateral growth every 24 hours at this point. Having to adjust LST pretty much every morning to accommodate for the crazy growth. Gelato 1 is a freak of nature - the fan leaves are gigantic. Defoliated again today; took the fan leaves from the third node of each plant. Will be defoliating the first node of the secondary growth stems tomorrow most likely. Medium is slightly moist. Tilled the soil again. Will be watering tomorrow morning most likely. There's still a little dropping at the ends of the leaves so I will hold off on nutrients until all nitrogen toxicity has subsided. Averaging 60% rH and 77℉. Nothing else for today. February 8, 2021 (Week 4, Day 35): Watered today with 3 liters of 5.8 pH filtered water per plant (no nutrients) - runoff around ~6.7-6.8 pH. Will most likely resume nutrients upon next feeding depending on how the plants look. Defoliated entire first node from center four growth stems and tied down third nodes. Readjusted outside LST. The plants are almost to the outside of the pot which is when I'll switch to vertical growth. Unknown 1 is very close to being let loose, it's also pre-flowering now. Gelato 1 is now covered in pre-flowers - it's definitely a happy plant. Unknown 2 is still the runt of the group but also appears to be almost 100% indica by how stout it is. It's showing sex but no pistils yet. All three plants seem to responding well to mainlining and the stress isn't making them skip a beat. Stems are getting huge. I downloaded an app on my phone to check how well my lights are doing and, if the readings are accurate, I am very impressed with these lights. I've read cannabis can handle around ~65 DLI, so I am right where I need to be. Averaging 60% rH and 78℉. That ends week 4 of veg. Time is flying. Hoping to switch to flower in two weeks for a total of six weeks in veg. Getting super stoked to switch over! Happy growing everyone! 👽

Woche alles läuft ganz gut hab heute wieder gegossen für jede Lady 4,5 l wasser mit Zusätzen bis auf lady #2 die hat nur green sensation bekommen da sie den anderen voraus rennt mal schauen was diese Woche so bringt...... 11.05.21.................................................. 12.05.21 hab es gestern leider nicht geschafft den Bericht zu aktualisieren hab aber auch gestern nix an den Pflänzchen gemacht hab heute mal ein paar buds fotografiert und das erste mal geprüft wie fest die buds sind also gelato 41#2 ist wie ein Felsen die anderen 3 Ladys sind eher fleischig aber dennoch fest (fast wie ein Hüft steak Medium rare) sieht auf jeden fall viel Versprechend aus und der Duft an den fingern nach dem prüfen, ein hauch von zitrone trifft auf leichte Minze mit cremiger Dunst note schon ziemlich geil muss ich sagen freue mich schon drauf wie ein kleiner junge auf sein Eis...... 13.05.21.................................................. 14.05.21 hab mich dazu entschieden nur noch alle 2 Tage was zu posten ab jetzt passiert nicht mehr viel sie wird nach und nach fetter und die trichome sind zum größten Teil milchig werde Sonntag die Spülung beginnen das währe dann Tag 57 nach flip und somit tag 49 der blüte, demnach sollte ich an Tag 63 fertig sein plus 1 bis 2 Tage dann hat sie 9 Wochen blüte hinter sich und 10 Wochen 12/12 der breeder selbst gibt an 7 bis 9 Wochen flower sollte also hin hauen die Angabe bin gespannt wie sie am Ende aus sieht. Werde Sonntag mal versuchen die trichome zu fotografieren aber mein kleines Taschen mikroskop zu fotografieren während ich es an die Blüten halte is etwas kompliziert für mich hab einen ruhe tremor fehler sprich ich zitter sobald ich etwas mache was mit fein Arbeit zu tuen hat, nicht stark,aber ein Bild machen is da schon schwer, werde es Sonntag versuchen an meine Kamera vom Handy zu kleben mit Maler crepp und dann mal schauen ob es einiger maßen klappt..... 15.05.21................................................. 16.05.21 so liebe growmies und canna begeisterte heute war der Tag der Spülung hab jeder Pflanze 22,5 Liter Wasser verpasst so das eigendlich fast alles an Dünger und Zusätzen raus sein sollte die Suppe die am Ende unten raus kam war fast komplett klar wie wasser sein sollte. bitte schimpft jetzt nicht mit mir das ich so hart flushe, ich hab mir gefühlt 1000 blogs durch gelesen von Zamnesia bis royal queen über Humboldt usw. Zum Thema flush und da gibt es ja echt viele Möglichkeiten wie man das ganze angeht der eine giesst normal weiter halt nur mit Wasser der nächste spült mit doppelter Menge von gewohntem giessen und wiederum andere stellen die Pflanzen in die Dusche und spülen da eine ganze Badewannen durch die Erde. War mir da einfach nicht mehr sicher wie ich das am besten an gehe und bin halt am ende auf die idee gekommen wenn das wasser gut klar ist Dann Sollte doch gut gespült sein hoffe ich zumindest in ca 14 tagen hack ich die Ladys Dann ab ihr könnt euch gar nicht vorstellen wie ich mich auf den Tag freue wenn ich schneiden darf ist wie Geburtstag und Weihnachten auf einem Tag........

It was truly a dream to grow this strain. I took my time with it, and my patience was seriously rewarded. I trained my plants to the max, and they handled it like champs every time. What really sets this variety apart, in my opinion, isn’t the growth traits or the yield—it’s the absolutely phenomenal flavor. To me, it has a strong bubblegum vibe. That said, the growth and yield are still record-worthy. The buds are as hard and massive as I’ve ever seen—practically no fluffy popcorn buds at all. Naturally, that shows in the final yield. Based on my calculations, I got around 2 grams per watt, which translates to a whopping 900 grams per square meter. That result genuinely surprised me, since I wasn’t expecting nearly that much. My overall verdict on this grow: completely positive. I’m super curious to find out who the parents of this amazing strain are. Hats off to you, Supersativaseedclub.
