Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Officially week 7 Dec 31: Came back a week later to very heavy pots, needed 36 hour drying period, not happy, smaller plant has tips of leaves curling down, some like taco, dryed out the pots and went back to normal conservative feeding, need to fine tune the auto irrigation setup before I use it again for sure. All in all, nothing crazy happened. Really cool to see a plant be small, but way bigger after a week of vacation. First grow seems to be going pretty good! PS: I think my hygrometer is broken, saying 85-100% RA even when I significantly improve airflow and it doesn't seem anywhere near that. Gonna do the salt paste test on the hygrometer . Jan 1: I recalibrated my hygrometer and it’s working great, weird leaf curling of smaller plant still happening but seems to be improving, big plant is frosty and fat for week 7, seems to be at same stage in development as smaller plant but the pheno is beautiful.

Day 85: still flushing her and it starting to show on the leaves. I don’t want them to disappear because I’m going to make hash but I’m still waiting for a plant in the same tent. Have no space for drying so need to cut them all at the same time :/ Day 86: Will cut on Friday! Day 87: switched the lights off until tomorrow. This it the light I’m using for this grow! Mars hydro SP3000 High PPFD at 2.8 umol/j, average yield at 2.5g/w, increasing your yield 50% or more compared with old blurple and HPS lights, 300 watts output. Dimmer knob added, more convenient to adjust the brightness. 06/15/2020 Harvesting a good amount of pollen, not sure if you can see but it is cloudy in here. Female will be fed Happy Frog fruit and flower 9-4-3. And that will be all she gets till harvest time (seeds popping out.) Next week male should be spent, putting out clouds of pollen every day very copious amounts! And diary will continue till I harvest her seed. Just topping off reservoir with plain water for the male I have got 1.3 grams of beautiful pollen to selectively pollinate only the finest of female specimens for at least 6 months. Cookie Cake will get dusted with this bad boy. As well as Red Sky #1

😫PRIMO OVERFERT SENZA AVER DATO NULLA ASSURDO...solo acqua e sono cariche scure ora sono palesemente in over... procederò ancora per altri 10 giorni di acqua il topping a funzionato bene da come si vede nel video ora faro riposare per 15 giorni e poi lancio in flow 14/05/2021 la jungla sembra crescere ora dovrò fare un pò di pulizia defogliare dalle foglie piu grandi e lollipoppare per bene.... sono solo un pauroso di togliere le foglie grandi (foglie primarie) al momento zero fertilizzanti ancora troppo scure 18/05/2021 la sera del 18 a un giorno da un mese di vegetazione in growbox ho lollipoppato e potato i rami i inutili.... ho dovuto anche fare una rotazione di piante in quanto non sono uniformi nel crescere.... ho riempito il bidone da 30 litri e mi sono accorto che le baby ora bevono molto pur troppo sono ancora in forte stress e overfert non capisco da cosa provenga in quanto non ho usato nei fertillizzzante.... vedremo oggi 21 come staranno ora posto le foto del 19 maggio giorno in cui fanno un mese e sono ancora 40cm aime qualcosa sta rallentando la crescita e arrivato il filtro a carboni e pesessantissimo speriamo che la mia box lo regge
