3/25/2023 Week 6- Day 1 of Veg (Day 52 overall) Added my first between changes SILICA Top offs. Was worried that when you add it to pre mixed Nutes that it can make the whole thing turn into a gummy looking substance. I was ready to drain the system and start it over for the week if needed, but no issues adding it to the tank. the Silica going into the Res didn't gummy the system up, it did drop my PH by quit a bit causing me to have to bring it back in balance. 36 Gallons in the Tank Silica Add .5mil/Gal = 18Mil I topped some that needed to be topped, I defoliated some that needs to be defoliated. Since I have moved into Week 6 I have increased the light intensity up to just over 500 maxing it out for Veg Cycle. Next increase will be Week 1 of Flower. 3/26/2023 Week 6- Day 2 of Veg (Day 53 overall) All conditions looked great. Other than me not putting one of the humidifiers back right which means it didn't work last night so Humidity was lower than I like. But got the Humidifier back on it's stand correctly and it is now pumping away. With that I decided to give the plants a day off from any stresses, no topping, no FIMing, no Defoliation for today. Just some good old soaking up the light rays and the ability to get all the Nutes they would like.. 3/27/2023 Week 6- Day 3 of Veg (Day 54 overall) Looking kind of Bushy today, so I defoliated some, and topped some. 3/28/2023 Week 6- Day 4 of Veg (Day 55 overall) PH was a little lower than I like 5.74 so I added a few Mil of PH UP and brought it back up to 5.94. Not much else at this stage, just I topped a little and I defoliated a little. 3/29/2023 Week 6- Day 5 of Veg (Day 56 overall) Topped a little, Defoliated a little Watched them grow!! 3/30/2023 Week 6- Day 6 of Veg (Day 57 Overall) Main action today was breaking down my old tent and setting up a new tent and getting my second RDWC system setup and ready for clones. I Topped a little, I Defoliated some and started taking a good look at what I would like to take for clones in the coming days. 10 days of darkness during the flush begins. Had great results with Wanda and her genetics. Blessed for a first grow. Cut Wanda down at the end of the week. She’s now drying. I will be giving a thorough review for my harvest diary. Excited to share what I’ve experienced and learned from this grow.

This was a really easy strain to grow!!! I had some personal problems while I was doing this diary!!! So didn’t update as much!! But so far this is my best one yet and best strain I have grown and the best harvest and yield I’ve had to this day!!!!

Going into flowering is always a special moment and we prepare to do it at our best to make the plant understand that it is time to become a woman and speed up the start of the formation of buds. We start with 24 hours of darkness this to give a strong break and sign of change to the plant that understands the change of time and prepares to go into flowering. Our Black Runtz was worked with a topping x16 buds but unfortunately I got stupid one day and after having vaporized something strong while doing a defoliation, I also cut a branch, our x16 buds became like this x14, story of a bullshit done. I hate doing bullshit and I expose them to public shame to remind myself not to do it again any normal human being would have hidden the fact. But we are not here to comb the dolls so we always tell the truth. It happens and the plant will be super beautiful anyway. Another thing that gives the plant the signal to start flowering are flowering stimulators, we friends at Plagron use Power Buds. The start of the flowering program includes the same additives as the vegetative phase Power Roots, Sugar Royal, Pure Zym and adds the flowering stimulant Power Buds. Now the basic fertilizer is Alga Bloom specific for flowering. Green Sensation will arrive as the hero of the end of flowering and at the same time it will be time to remove Power Roots and a week later the Pure Zym enzymes. Changing reservoirs whenever pH becomes unstable. Usually after around a week and a half. Seeing some nice buds developing. Found a ball that exploded when I touched it. Going to cut this plant down probably to keep it from pollinating others completely.

She's 4 feet tall!!! Wow! I'm a little concerned about light burn, but don't notice any signs of light burn yet. And she will be going outdoors soon. But I'm very impressed with this girl so far! 👍

Hey So I had to harvest a little earlier now because I'm going on vacation, so I'm done with everything 2 weeks before :) It was quite easy to grow it has a very strong smell and generally a strong effect it tastes sweet/sour/woody It is sticky and the buds are quite heavy I harvested 146.5g dry weight from a plant :))

Week 8 Flower Flush flush flush 💦🚽💦🚽💦 It's extremely important to flush for at least 14 days when using synthetic nutes, or any bottled nutes in my opinion. The aim is to make her cannibalize (fade) as much as possible before she's chopped. By doing this, she's using up her stored nutrients, causing the leaves to eventually die. The better the flush the cleaner the smoke 👌💨 even when in an organic set up, the plant needs to be nicely faded before being harvested. Otherwise she's still full of nutrients. I still feel I'll be able to get an even better flush when I eventually make the switch to RO water, as my tap water holds a ppm value of approx 150. It's not too much, but 0 is always better. She was taken down on Day 57 flower, after a 16 Day flush. I didn't want to take her any further as she was quite stressed being so close to the light. So to avoid getting seeds I waited until she had a beautiful fade before giving her the chop ✂️ I always take my girls down about 30mins before the light turns on so there is minimal chlorophyll production in the plant. This is to ensure the best smell, taste and overall burn after drying and curing. A subtle but very sweet-ish tropical fruit skin kind of smell to her. Her buds are super dense and covered in trichomes. I trimmed off all fan leaves and then each branch was hung in my drying box and placed in a cool area. She was dry after 6 days and ready to be dry trimmed and jarred for curing. I'll post those pics with the harvest update! Thanks for following and happy growing! 🐺
