transferred to flowering

Gave them their 3rd and final heavy defoliation this week. Had lots of useless side branching that will just shadow out the good stuff and cause them to not ripen properly, a lot of this growth was due to the unintended extra 10 days they had in VEG before I noticed the timer wasn't doing what I asked it to do, just one of those things. Always a surprise in the grow room no matter how much you try to prepare and problem solve. I also had an air line manifold blow out this week which was very strange to see. Caught it early so girls didn't go without air for to long and I have 2 air pumps running so 1 going down is only a minor issue but still a great example of the random mishaps that occur when growing. If its one thing that experience has taught me its that less is more when it comes to how many colas you try to fit into a space. Do to many and you'll just end up with a load of mids, battling humidity problems and stress of keeping tons of half ripe colas falling all over onto each other come week 6 or 7. Everything is going great so far, no issues, although I have noticed some of the white hairs on the budlets have slight ginger tops (only a very small few) I have read in the past that this can be a sign of stress and potentially they might flip the hermie but I've done nothing to stress them so I am hoping this is just a abnormality from growing under LED. Boosted the nutrients up to 1000PPM now to let them feed heavy and pump those buds up. I'm happy with that.* My second Purple haze auto from sensible seeds and again very happy with the plant. I have so many more strains to try, so I may never grow one again, but if I could only grow one strain again, from my short experience this girl would be the one for me. I could have harvested this girl a few weeks ago but I thought I would risk a few more weeks to see how her buds developed. I certainly made the right choice in doing so as these buds just got fatter and fatter. I trained her with a mixture of lst and the now traditional for me super cropping. I have had a shape her due to limited space in the grow cupboard to a more rectangular shape maximise the canopy size for the light. I have shown this in a video on my Bruce Banner #3 diary as Mrs B is being shaped. My biggest buds to date without a doubt. Hitting 200g wet with stems my fingers were aching holding the stems while trimming so they were very bud heavy. probably 50cm tall max from soil to top bud and a canopy space of around 60cm x 40cm available to her. Grown under 3 x £1 / €1 / $1 Standard shop bought LED bulbs (cool white and warm) around 10w each converted..... ...Sorry light companies... I think this a good yield and a proud growing moment personally. I do often say that I will update when I have a dry weight but I don't honestly think I have yet. We lost about 40 girls... we are not sure why... humidity, temperature and lamp distance are OK... only what we see, maybe tabs were too close to plant ?!??! 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

Es war eine sehr gute Woche langsam kommen die zwei ersten Blätter ich habe das Gefühl sie streckt sich ein wenig vielleicht ist das weil die Lampe 76 cm von der Pflanze entfernt ist ich hoffe das ist nicht schlimm ich werde es einfach ausprobieren ich habe diese Woche gedüngt und zwar mit 0,5 g Bio Grow als Oberflächendünnung & mit in die Erde einmassiert Außerdem habe ich bio enhancer benutzt 0,5 Gramm auf 1 Liter Wasser zum Gießen

58 Days have passed in flower. Cheese left, Gorilla Girl right. The "Just water no pH" experiment has failed me around week 5 of flower. I have not done anything to keep the soil biology alive so thats probably the issue. Its all good though, it was fun while it lasted and definitely worth a try. I have let the soil dry as much as possible and then i watered in a tablespoon molasses per gallon water. pH'd to 6.6. I just need atleast 3-7 more days of flower and hopefuly the buds will mature a little more. I took a snip of the bottom leafs to check for trichomes maturity, those are the weakest of trichomes on the plants. ---1st time growing with FLO - Florian Living Organics.--- They claim that there is no need to pH when watering and that their living fertilizer is the only thing that i will need throughout the whole grow so i only need to mix with soil and just water with plain water. If this stuff works then it can simplify my future grows ALOT! Happy growing. 😎

Week 8 Here came fall. End of last week plant seemed hungry, the fade wasn't progressing as supposed so I gave her two nutes round with only water round in between them. I used bottled feeding: biobizz biobloom + top max (2ml each per liter), ghe ripen (2ml per liter), solved micronutrients and calmag (not mixed, one time one the next the other, 1-0,5 ml per lt). Solution EC was about 1,4, starting with 0,3 tap water. She reacted well to the feeding in my opinion. now the fade is progressing more naturally. I did observe that the plant under the less powerful COBS in the same tent are doing better then the ones under the sp250 wich has a higher par output, so I raised the light to 45-50cm from canopy. This had a positive effect on the plants imho. I'll stay a little bit further from the beginning in my next grow. I took a sample under the microscope to take some tricho pictures, they look beautifully clouded but the buds still has to ripen some 50% more. Based on that I think we are arriving to an end in 10-15 days max. Happy bottanic guys

Week 5 Think I’ll do second topping next week

Week 14 - July 30 Last vegetation weeks. On 4 plants: 2 healthy / 2 injured. Royal Moby and GMOxZombieK were seriously contaminated with aphids. To stop the propagation I did many washes with black soap and neem oil but may be I treated at the wrong time: morning, even soon; is too late by a hot sunny summer day. I think the 2 plants are suffering from sunburn… and they still have aphids… I stopped soap treatments and try another recipe which seems working very good against aphids and revitalizing all plants: spraying Garlic + Laurel -I cooked separately during 1h garlic (5 cloves) and Lauren leaves (12) in approximately 1L of water -filtered the preparations and wait 4 days -for 1L of water to spray: 15cl garlic mixture + 5 cl laurel BEWARE: checking Ph… last year I burned plants with garlic + chili mixture: it was catastrophic. Brake Pad Breath and Flash Back are beautiful and healthy. Aphids aren’t interested by this 2 plants. I did preventive treatments Neem oil and soap but not so much. Good reaction to the Garlic+Laurel. Plants are bushy, densely ramified. Deep green color, the female sexual signs are visible. Ready for flowering. Watering with a little bit of nutrients 1.5L/plants each 2 or 3 days Defoliation Now I quit the “garden” for 7 days…traveling to Amsterdam (NL) and Prague (CZ) for holidays. I installed automatic watering systems (Blumat) and sticky traps, locked the veranda, programmed the Ventilation and crossed fingers. I’m not afraid about heat or dry…. More about pests and diseases….and rubbery too cause I have 6 auto flowering quasi ready. I’m writing this in Prague, returning in my country to the west side in 2 days. After smoking lot of joints in Amsterdam (3 days) Amnesia haze Tangerine dream Kush Mints Super Lemon Haze Dynamite cookie Intergalactic toad Super Silver Haze In Prague Weed (THC) is prohibited. But I discovered that you can buy pre roll joints (100% pure hemp-Thc-sativa, hybrid etc…) in strange gifts shops for 6€. It’s really not the best weed but it’s Strong and easygoing.

August 14, day 104 (37f), the Red Mandarine is getting chunkier bit by bit. The canopy is pretty dense, but I have plenty of airflow so it should be alright. It just needs to ripen a bit more in the coming weeks and gain a little density and it should be good to harvest. August 17, day 107 (day 40f), the buds are really putting on weight at the end! The smell is also increasing, along with the lovely red tones. Switched to dry koolbloom for the last week or so, then a short flush and harvest. The Mars Hydro SP-3000 is powering through the flowering stage. Plant seems to like the support i was off for a week ot two but dozed them with 1 ml nutes and 1 ml greens of (city greens) concentrated in 1 lt water plant seems ready to flower now as the growth is tending towards the stems and they have started to turn more purple 🔥 please comment

Weekly update for these lovely ladies. They've grown and grown since the last update so much I had to raise the greenhouse. Cinder blocks under the frame gave me an extra 16in. They're growing probably a foot of week and still reaching for the stars. I did switch to Athena's Bloom A & B and P&K booster this week giving 5-10ml per gallon. I really couldn't be happier with how they've grown up to this point. All in all Happy Growing
