Week 10 Flower After 4 whole weeks of flush this girl has finally met the scissors ✂️ It took her quite some time to fade out, but after cutting down the most faded half of the plant that was closest to the light on Day 65, and then the rest on Day 70 it was long enough. I'm very impressed with how fat and chunky this girl has become. I wasn't expecting quite this size from first look at her thinner stems and branchy structure earlier in flower, but her buds have swelled up nonetheless and she's stacked well. I always cut my girls down around half an hour (or a bit more) before the lights are due to turn on. This prevents her from starting any chlorophyll production in order to maintain the best flavour and burn. Only a few fans were taken off before being left to hang dry as she's absolutely covered in trichomes! Don't throw away your sugar trim (leaves with trichomes) as this can later be used for dry sift, which can then be pressed for some dank rosin. Harvest update coming soon! Very nice this is my 4th run with triple and seems i have now mastered her! With extra supplements and additives i was able to acheive this beauty! I gave the Blue Cheese a trim on 5th december and gave her four days of darkness, the chop was performed on december 9th I took a lot of photographs and videos commemorating these events for you to enjoy :) I think she came out quite decent especially considering that she had some monster/deformed leaves till the 4th week of veg. also looking back I should have moved her to the bigger place in that time...she would be far more symmetrical ;) It was a joy to work with Mars Hydro and their equipment in this grow. The big day is here! 😎 Today, March 28th, 104 days (15 weeks) after germination, I have harvested my first indoor photoperiod plant. It has been an incredible challenge, especially managing it in the middle of a winter environment, but the results speak for themselves. 📏 Harvest Data (Wet Weight) -Total Wet Weight: 56.5 grams (15.7g + 40.8g). -Final Height: 40 cm of pure density. -Status: Rock-hard buds and an impressive resin layer. -Dry Estimate: I estimate that after water loss (60-70% less), the final dry weight will be between 14 and 17 grams, given how dense the buds are and the cold conditions we’ve faced. 🌡️ Process Summary -Managing a grow with lows of 12°C for my first indoor photoperiod experience has been difficult. I am aware that a climate control system would have been ideal, but the budget is what it is 😆. Despite the limitations, using lukewarm water for irrigation and controlling the lamp height were vital. This plant has been a great learning experience, and I am sure the next one will be much better, applying everything I’ve discovered during these 15 weeks. Now, on to a slow and controlled dry so the flavor is as spectacular as its look! I want to wrap up this diary by thanking everyone who has joined me during these 15 weeks. Your likes, and comments have been an extra motivation to pull this Critical through despite the cold challenges. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. La altura de las plantas ronda entre los 45 y 60cm. Durante esta semana se realizara una poda, todavia no realizada al momento de hacer este seguimiento. Se prosigue el riego 3 veces por semana, lunes, miercoles y sabados. Aparecen los primeros pistilos que dan comienzo a la flora.

Week 2 11-14 Day 8 Water, xplant tomorrow. Grows well. I still have too much water last time. Lol like 4 days to dry. Also RH is fixed, moved the big plant to a different location. Tent is all ready for these girls! 💪🤘 11-15 Transplant day to 3 gallon. 4 tbs craft blend, 1/2 cupish worm poo, hp connect in hole. watered in 8ozish ph6.2 yucca, humic light around 280 ppfd, will move up a bit in a day or 2 to be safe. 11-16 Seems well when I woke up. 11-17 Just did some growing today. Drank a little water. Thristy probably tomorrow. 11-18 Water with cal/mag, drops of balance, yucca and recharge.

Start of week 15. A little defoliation and LST training on a few branches. The grow medium has not dried out enough since last week's repotting, so no feeding at this time. Update 6/15, moved to flowering room and 12/12 light.

So I suspect the strain isn't all that stable but I'm having a fun time with the variation. They smell wonderful, very fruity, with cream and pepper, though Weirdo has stronger sweet spice scents over fruit. She might be around a lot longer than the other two to finish her run. My lil' Eldritch monstrosity :)

Woche 3 der Blüte kommt morgen zum Ende… 🌷🌺 Soweit haben sie sich extrem gut gestreckt und Bio Masse aufgebaut. Stamm kommt photoperiodischen am Ende der Blüte nah, deutet darauf hin, dass es der Pflanze super geht, sieegr als genügend Nährstoffe zur Verfügung hat und anstatt Stämme bauen zwei der Ladys einfach Rohrsysteme auf 😆 die angezeigten Äste sind teilweise so dick wie bei anderen die ganze Pflanze 🌱 Terps sind super Candy, eine Streckt sich komischerweise immer noch, war ein Spätzündung, dafür meiste Bio Masse von allen. 3 blühen bereits gut, eine davon lässt tatsächlich mit der Trichomproduktion auf sich warten, wieso keine Ahnung aber interessant zu beobachten 😄

Week 5, just took down the othwr side. Was experimenting with bleach for sterilization. Unfortunately it resulted in an extremely poor yield, from one of my big producers. Have switched over to a benificial bacteria mix, which includes some molasses, folic acid, Humic ac8s and sea kelp. Product is called Hydro Bio
