this week, the girl grew as expected, which makes me very happy :) she has already started to bloom, but I still have to use LST, because her two main crowns will escape:) everything is fine, she looks healthy and strong :)

Always dry trim. The leaves come off more easily when dry and it preserves more THC with the longer drying time. Will weigh up in 7-10 days. Smoke report. Tastes like strong grape juice when you hit it. Very smooth and easy on the throat. Pretty much gave me instant relaxation and relief from my depression. Seems like a good morning smoke which I love. Die zweite Reihe Photos hat richtig aufgeholt und ist fast so hoch wie die 2wochen älteren , aber noch nicht so verzweigt. Habe ja die beiden Haupttriebe nach außen gebogen, dadurch sprießen jetzt die Seitentriebe stark.die Special Queen Auto sind alle fleißig am blühen.es sind komische phenos geworden. Zwei sind sehr klein geblieben und werden nur wenig abwerfen. Da ich einen 4.run außerhalb der Doku habe, wo auch noch 6autos wachsen, ist es mir egal 🙂. Es läuft. Hi Growmies, My apologies for the delayed update, but work life balance got a bit out of wack recently. Anyways, water was changed on time and general maintenance took place. Continued with very light defoliation to really guarantee that all the shoots get equal light exposure. She is turning out to be a real beauty and literally no Scr.O.G was necessary due to her natural structure. Buds are already forming very compact and dense to touch, something that’s always a good sign ;) Since this is my first proper DWC grow I am actually quite impressed by the root growth and the resulting nutrient uptake, as well as vigor in plant growth. Is it btw just me or is this website getting slower, buggier and laggier by the day? Videos won’t upload, weeks don’t reflect, diaries won’t update….

Day 49 and moving along. Wanting to run these 21 more days max, the Jedi cookies I think I can take to that point but one of the CBD crack might be done sooner. Other than that things are chill, wanting to see some bud growth this week.

Week 2 of flower This plant is healthy and happy but she sure is taking her time adjusting to 12/12. I don’t see any pistils coming out yet. She could just be a late bloomer lol. Week 4 - It’s Friday again, and that means it's update day! Another week has passed, and as usual, there's plenty to report. A lot has happened, and once again, I’m bringing you along on my journey as a total beginner in the world of growing. Every week is a new learning experience, and I’m excited to share what’s been going on in the tent as my Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies continue to grow. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Key Growing Parameters -Humidity: 43-55% -VPD: Max 1.4 -Airflow: Always active at level 1, auto-adjusts when needed -Day Temperature: 25-26°C -Night Temperature: 22°C -Light Cycle: 20 hours light / 4 hours dark -Lamp: IONBOARD S24 from AC Infinity (240W) Watering Schedule: -Day 24: 1 liter -Day 26: 1 liter -Nutrients are applied with every watering Light Adjustments: -Light distance now at 50 cm -Intensity increased to level 10 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Growth Update The most noticeable change this week has been the incredible growth of the plants. I’ve uploaded some new photos for everyone to see, and it’s amazing how much they’ve shot up compared to last week. The differences in growth behavior between the Amnesia Zkittlez and Gorilla Cookies are becoming even more pronounced. The Amnesia Zkittlez has more than doubled in height since last week, shooting up and stretching outward. Meanwhile, the Gorilla Cookies hasn’t grown as much in height, but it has become noticeably rounder and bushier, almost like a pufferfish. It's fascinating to watch these plants develop in such different ways. While the Zkittlez focuses on vertical growth, the Gorilla Cookies is spreading out horizontally, forming a dense, compact structure. All around the plant, small flower sites are emerging, extending from within the plant and beginning to take shape. This difference in growth styles really highlights the unique characteristics of each strain, and I’m excited to see how they continue to evolve. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Training: LST and Defoliation This week, I’ve also focused heavily on training the plants using Low-Stress Training (LST) and some selective defoliation to optimize light exposure and encourage better growth. I applied LST more aggressively over the past few days, using clips to gently bend the stems of individual branches outward, almost to a 90-degree angle. This technique has helped the plants spread out horizontally, allowing more light to reach the inner and lower branches. I’ve been adjusting the clips nearly every day to refine the structure and ensure that the light penetrates deeper into the canopy. The goal is to encourage outward growth and create more space for the lower branches to thrive. In addition to LST, I began selectively removing leaves. I started with the first set of fan leaves, followed by leaves growing inward toward the plant’s center. These were either shading promising bud sites or simply not contributing to the plant’s energy needs. I’ve also removed the lower bud sites, which likely wouldn’t have developed into anything substantial. This way, the plants can focus their energy on the more promising, higher-up buds that are receiving better light. Throughout the defoliation process, I’ve been careful not to remove too many leaves at once. I’ve only taken off leaves that were either blocking key bud sites or were small and shaded, ensuring that the plant still has enough foliage to continue its healthy growth. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Nutrients and Watering Routine There haven't been any changes in my nutrient schedule or the way I water the plants this week. I’m still using the same BioBizz nutrients at the recommended dosages with each watering, and the watering process itself remains unchanged. Each plant receives a consistent 1 liter of water every couple of days, and so far, the plants are responding well. However, based on some recommendations I’ve received, I’m planning to introduce CalMag from BioBizz into my watering routine over the course of the next week. This will help ensure that the plants have enough calcium and magnesium, which are essential for strong cell structure and nutrient uptake, especially as we move further into the flowering phase. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Personal Reflections and Lessons Learned As I progress through this grow, I’m realizing how much more there is to learn, especially when it comes to managing light exposure and training techniques. It’s been rewarding to see how the plants respond to LST and defoliation, but I’m still figuring out the perfect balance. Every small change seems to make a big difference, and I’m constantly amazed by how quickly these plants adapt. Being a beginner, this process has been both challenging and exciting, and I can’t wait to see how the flowering stage develops. This journey has been a humbling experience, reminding me that growing plants isn’t just about following steps, but also about observing and learning from the plants themselves. Every day brings new insights and challenges, and it’s incredibly rewarding to see these changes reflected in the health and growth of the plants. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Looking Ahead In the next week, I’ll continue to monitor the pre-flowering phase closely. I expect the water and nutrient demands to increase even more as the plants transition into full flowering, so I’m preparing to increase the watering amount to 1.2 liters per plant soon. I’ll also be keeping an eye on the structure of the plants, especially the differences between the Gorilla Cookies and Amnesia Zkittlez. I may begin defoliating some of the lower leaves to give the plants more room to breathe and allow light to penetrate deeper into the canopy. There’s a lot of excitement ahead as the flowering phase approaches, and I’m eager to see how the plants respond to these new stages of growth. not much happened this week. there was a lot of sunshine. a few stormy days and some rain. she is still doing well and is growing steadily and the flowers are getting thicker. she is now also getting biobizz top-max

Seems some nice growth this week from having her tied all down. Preflower has started but idk if that's what I should list her as "flowering" yet Gave Chem its first feeding on 9/28/22 watered with 6.5ph. Runoff was 6.76ph, 320ppm, .6ec. Mixed 5ml cal-mag, 1/2tsp flora nova grow, 1/2tsp flora nova bloom, 2ml amino acids, 6ml fish shit, 1/2 tsp great white. Mixture was 5.47ph, 750ppm, 1.5ec. Runoff was 6.53ph, 490ppm, .97ec I will update the nutrient list next update seeing as this was the first feeding

The wicked genetics plants are by far the most potent ones i grew and the most dank smelling like the gary payton x boston kreme pie (gary payton x wedding cake x thin mint cookies) is so dang potent this shit is an indica monster, I can't take more than 3 hits or I'm catatonic 🤣🤣🤣🤣 the gary payton x sour headband is still drying but I tried a little bit and that one is a sativa monster super nice heady high perfect for daytime smoke but both will rock your world if you take more than 2 or 3 hits I've never grown outdoor like this ever before I always grew local strains or clones but after harvesting these 2 plants I have decided that ill be growing nothing but wicked genetics for a long freakin time..the next line up im germinating are all special and will be my biggest challenge yet growing 8 different strains I have never grown and most of them being chem,sour or og kush crosses along with some more gary payton crosses (gp x king Louie og,gp x unicorn poop) highway og,evil og and kings og and triple threat and triple crown and lemon smoothie(lemon skunk x chemsicle) very excited I love growing fire strains I have never tried before these gp crosses impressed me beyond belief and I'm telling you guys go check out wicked genetics on his discord server or on IG or his website www.wickedgenetics.net, he gives tons of freebies if you buy from his discord and has regular and fem seeds if there's one person who's work needs to be admired it's Joshua's man hes doing some special work with og kush's,chemdawg,skunks,and sour strains it's insane how many fire strains I have from him and only really spent a couple hundered dollars where I was spending 0 with rqs and getting 10 northern lights autos seeds that I won't grow and the strains were never anything special not compared to wicked genetics the best bud I grew from royal queen seeds indoor isn't nearly as good tasting or as potent as the gary payton x boston kreem or gp x shb pie I grew outdoors I've never seen that

Was a lovely plant from start to finish. Very manageable and very much an Indica through and through. I'd probably defoliate and lollipop a little more if i was to grow this strain again.

Hey hey growmies! another longer week, as I wanted to show these girls bouncing back from some problems I ran into with my Kratky experiment. about halfway through the week my plants started drooping and showing signs of overwatering, my guess is either the plant outgrew her air roots or the reservoir was too hot, inhibiting the plants ability to take up oxygen. either way, a quick peek at the roots showed some very healthy looking noodles, so I decided to not take any chances and come up with a solution that would solve both those problems. I took a 3 litre container, put a coat of primer and black paint on it to keep light out, then a layer of plumbers tape to bounce some of the grow lights off of the container, theoretically keeping the heat out, some other things I could have done was paint it white, or put some wall insulation around it. I could have also kept my jars and tried some troubleshooting, fill them less and more often. but I am happy with the roots created by Kratky, that's the nice thing about that system, it forces the roots to grow more horizontally, the roots have now created a sturdy foundation for low stress training and are perfect for placing into DWC. so that's what I did, I added a tiny pump and air stone, and for now both plants will sit in this tiny container, The Runtz will be moved to the tent as soon as possible, hopefully before these girl's roots get entangled, If that does happen, I will have to trim back some of the Runtz roots, I don't want to hurt the autoflower. now you've likely wondered what is up with the host of deficiencies the plants are showing, honestly that's just neglect on my part. I can tell there's damage from overwatering, pH fluctuations and even some lockouts. I am more on top of it now, the pH is more stable, the plants are getting oxygen and will recover plenty before flower. Plus I get to show off how hardy ruderalis is, look at the auto-flower compared to the photo period, she barely cares about the high temps, pH fluctuations all she appears to want is more food, so I have increased the ec to 1 ms, but most importantly, ill keep the pH in a range where they can actually take up the nutrients now That's it for now Growmies, Thanks for checking out my diary.
