Added some soluble seaweed to the water mostly for the K. Don’t take flash pics of photoperiods unless you’re immediately using a 730 nm light to put them into dark mode. Using the far red light like this is known as phyto-forcing and it’s like getting an extra two hours of darkness making a 26 h day. This far north I think it moves flowering up by 3-4 weeks so obviously a huge trick. Easy and cheap if you have daily access at dusk. Aug 26: it’s been a couple of weeks but I figured it was time for a lazy compost tea. I watered with it slightly diluted and the plants look almost immediately greener and more vigorous…amazing actually. 👍👍 Aug 27: this is definitely the fastest flowering of the four. Hopefully it stays sunny for a few more weeks. Thinned out the understory a bit as there were some small branches and bud sites that were not going to do anything. Check out the birds sounds on the first video. The magpies thought I was too close to their nest in the tree or something…they’re usually not quite that annoying. Aug 29: this is a great strain, and the manifold is working its magic.

week 10 of budding complete....#1 is in jars after 5 days drying on the stems so dry to touch and squeeze too and now in mason jars being burped like babies for last few days...smoked a little after just cutting a gram bud and let air dry in little pieces...So Pleased.....rocket fuel...green gold...where was I ...hmm delicious...being flushing for over a week as just giving water...feel the GAIA is still feeding these beasts and am going to keep the ride going....most trichomes are now milky white ..like #1 was as it was ripe earlier...will take one in a few days and let the other one go...as a test of sorts as what I will find out is when was best time to cut down and use that info for the next grow...will be in no hurry to take those clones as will have over pound from these fine ladies combined easily...got to get more mason quart jars...

I grew three plants under a 331 watt cob , this was the biggest , it liked defoliation, and would probably enjoy LST0 i really tried to give some buds a good trim, but i cant see very well so thats the best i could do...0 Big thank you to Fast Buds for the prize 😀😀😀😀😀

Casey's Rollex OG has been making progress. I believe the pest problem has been resolved. I did a good defoliation on her today to open her up more. I plan to switch to flowering in a week. Everything is looking fairly good at the moment. Day 30 I have not updated nutes since I have stopped adding em lol all of em got to much nitrogen so flushing em out don't really get it but first time in this soil bugs are gone and stretch for flower has started

One more week of veg then flipping the lights to 12/12. I've been so busy with work and the outside garden that I haven't had much time to maintain these plants but they are doing very well considering. I've topped all plants and pulled branches down to spread canopy. A lot of defoliation has been needed along the way and I've done some lst and hst also. Once I flip the lights they should fill the tent up nicely. Being conservative with the nutrients. I will bump up a little bit once they are in flower.

2nd time doing Brix levels...some ladies went from a Brix of 4 to a Brix of 10 while 2 only went from a Brix of 4 to 6. I am pleased with their progress upwards. Dam just learned you should take leaves for testing 2 hours after lights on....I took leaves from dark period 😣. Will update with new Brix numbers taken with lights on. Chopping is coming very soon. I will tag the Brix of each plant when I hang to dry so I'm able to keep track of how the higher Brix relates to taste, smell and potency😎 😁The ladies noticeably got fatter over night!(Nov 11th). Man they really enjoyed that last watering, hope this continues into next week. Just read to take your Brix leaves in a "Z" or "W" pattern as older leaves will contain higher carbs. The refracted light tells us the amount of carbs in the "juice or sap" and minerals too like calcium, proteins and fats (lipids). High Brix enables weed to produce secondary metabolites = greater medicinal value. Sucrose/sugar (Carbs) & mineral levels in the fruit or flower translates or relates to taste. A tasteless 3 Brix tomato from the grocery store or a 14 Brix tomato from OMG you grow delicious tomatoes. Death to covalent bonding! (My goal a 20 Brix😀 Won't be happening with this grow but will be the next😁). Read that most people can detect a half point difference in Brix in the flavour. Lots of smell coming from these Gorilla Girls😵 I can only go so far with plant chemistry and then I get a headache and get lost😔

Mixed nutrients today. Last night I added 2 ml of oxy science h202 to 18L of Kamloops City water filtered through our homes water filter, no idea what it does exactly lol. I put an air stone over night and let the water bubble off any chlorine and the rest of the h202, I use microbial mass so I just wanted to sanitize the water but not kill my soil. Mixed in bases first into 21.7 C ph 8.1 Water in the morning. Important not to mix concentrated solutions, I used syringes that I rinsed well between products. I find that with this product you just follow the instructions and it’s pretty awesome results.
