Que hay familia os traemos la 3 semana de nuestras green ak xL, y es que están bastante sanas, tuve que atar las puntas a las esquinas por que la altura se nos fue de las manos. Tienen muchos brazos laterales, que espero que en unas semanas sean largas colas de flores. Ph controlado y humedad dentro de los parámetros aconsejables, regamos cada 2 días, y todos los riegos llevan nutrientes. Esta variedad me tiene personalmente desconcertado, es bastante sensible a los cambios así que procuramos tenerla en una rutina alimentaria y lumínica sin nada de cambios, veremos cómo apremia en unos meses.

9/29/2024 The plant is looking extremely healthy! There are tons of flower sights and they are starting to bulk up with nice frost development as well. Daytime air temps and humidity are slightly higher than I would prefer, but working to control it the best I can. Lights are currently at 90%, planning to increase to 95% in the next few days. Stretching looks to have stopped or slowed to a crawl at this point. I am continuing to defoliate large fan leaves and any areas of overgrowth/overlapping of leaves to open up the canopy and promote airflow. 10/1/2024 Raised light directly over the plant about an inch. Starting to put some thought into support as the branches are already putting on some weight and swaying from the fans. Have some 4-foot wooden dowels on standby and plenty of bunchers twine. Small issue with roots in the drain line causing the water level in the bucket to rise. Removed the roots and the issue was resolved. Working to maintain 800-900 PPM in the reservoir. 10/5/2025 Overall pretty stress-free week. Continued to add pH-adjusted water only to maintain 800-900 PPM when needed. Still defoliating a few leaves per day to continue to open things up throughout the canopy. Flowers are developing nicely and the frost is everywhere. The smell in the tent is wonderful and quite pungent! Arm hair is getting sticky from reaching in to grab leaves!

Almost done, will wait few more days and harvest top and lower one a week later, because top is done and leafs yellow unlike bottom level leafs are looking still green and maybe swell those buds a bit more, Calyxes are taking their time to reach maturity, they seemed to have slow Down. She smells nothing when close to her but when rubbed she stinks skunk and gasy pungent. Smells sending a warning already: beware strong! Yet stealthy enough no one can smell her! Her trichomes are air tight! Lol

Ginger Nut Cookies & Aussie Music Videos Week 16 Harvest 17 th April 2020 This Entire feminised seed making and growing project was a very good learning experience for me. Right from the very start, when I successfully got a Cutting ,taken from a Barneys Farm Red diesel female plant to produce feminised pollen after treating it with a silver thiosulfate solution. I then used it to pollinate a Fastbuds Girl scout cookies auto plant and let it grow to maturity. This only produced 3 viable seeds one of which is the subject of this Diary. I made up the name "Ginger nut cookies" after a variety of cookies we have here in Australia that are made with ginger. They are the same colour as the distinct red hairs on the red diesel buds. And would you believe those same vivid red hairs were passed on to this plant so I wasn't too far off the mark with the strain name. Her flavour however is nothing like red diesel or girl scout cookies and infact as taken on a smell and aroma all of it's own. She has a lovely tropical fruit like taste and the smell is a bit like fruit yoghurt. It has an unreal after taste on the exhale and the lingering second hand smoke smells very sweet and enticing. She has a pretty well balanced high too not as potent as the GSC nor as energenic as the red diesel but just a pleasant mix of the two. It was a very easy to grow and undemanding plant that didn't seem to require a lot of extra feeding other than the 100% organic nutrients that were within the soil and a few things like compost teas etc. The other element of this diary was of course the weekly Aussie music videos That I provided the links for and put up a little video clip preview of each Artists song. Day 36 Stretching has slowed but not stopped. 28-29” today. Feeding 3L per plant now. The orange haze seems to be flawless, the other 2 needing a little extra calmag and N, but early flower can be expected. Humidity holding at around 50-55% little higher than I want but plenty of air blowing inside and strong extraction, so no problem. Would like to see the bud sites fill out over the next few weeks, before swelling. White pistils everywhere very exciting to see these blossom. Lovely mild fruity smell already from the tent. Day 38. Heavy feed on day 37 including big bud added to the nutrients, nute burn on one off the plants which I think I’m gonna flush soon, and maybe a slight N deficiency and calmag still on the other 2. Stretching looks to have stopped, Bud sites filling out nicely now Day 41 Left the pots 24 hours too long and the extra thirsty girls caught me out with the soil being drier than the desert and leafs soft and droopy as a result. With a slow heavy feed following this, they are back to their healthy self’s overnight. Lesson learnt - check daily. Drinking 3L every 1.5-2 days now.
