Grow Diary Update: Week 5 - Pre-Flowering and LST Evaluation Entering Pre-Flowering Stage At the end of last week, the first pistils appeared, marking the beginning of the pre-flowering stage for my plants 🙌 There's much to manage now. To support optimal stretching, I've adjusted the nutrients following 2/3 of the Terra Aquatica feeding schedule: CalMag: 2 ml/l (Starting EC before adding nutrients: 0.45 mS/cm) Grow: 1.33 ml/l Bloom: 1.0 ml/l Micro: 1.33 ml/l The nutrient solution now has an EC of 1.3 mS/cm (638 ppm PPM-500/TDS) with a pH of 6.1. These adjustments aim to promote vigorous growth and prepare the plants for flowering. Weather and Growth With significant weather improvements, my plants are thriving at full speed. Every centimeter gained now counts towards maximizing the final yield, turning around from the challenging weeks prior. Pest Management I'm fortunate not to have encountered pests like spider mites, aphids, or thrips. However, the persistent snail issue remains. Nightly patrols with a flashlight have been effective, and placing old lettuce leaves away from the plants has helped trap and remove snails, ensuring the plants remain undisturbed. LST Experiment Results The two plants I trained with LST have responded admirably, showing healthy adaptation to the bending and vigorous growth. Yet, I'm at a crossroads regarding the upcoming stretch phase: should I continue to tie down branches to maintain an even canopy or allow natural upward growth to potentially boost vertical yield? Day 63 What a turn around! Got my watering issues manageable. Last watering for Candace I added Mykos and Azos to my water. Switched from SimPro to Terp Tea. #GIRTH # FROST #AROMA Sheryl got that same recipe tonight. Candace didn't need water, but I splashed about 8oz in her dish for the bottom roots. Take Away? It's a weed so it's resilient. Have patience, don't panic, let the plants tell you what they need. Came back from out of town and the girls were looking famished. I put 1Tbl of Terp Tea Bloom in a gallon of rain water with Mykos, Azos, and Fish Sh!t. Fed both plants half gallon each.

The girls are fill out beautifully green and healthy. Maintaining a clean and controlled environment is key for a healthy grow so I clean my grow area once a week with peroxide. Also doing some extra preventative maintenance for pest twice a week. Stay tuned and thanks for following

Good afternoon everyone! One more week is gone of the flowering. the plant looks beautiful, the buds become heavier every day. I still only use Hesi sponsored nutrients with every watering. I don't overdose on nutrients and follow the weekchart I got from Hesi. genetics is good old school from Neville's seed bank. It is also a normal seed, not femenized. The light schedule is 12/12 , feeding every day( I try to handle the cocos always wet) next week is the last flowering, after that I will clean the plant and will harvest it. Good luck, everyone

Let's talk about our Jealousy girls from Zamnesia Seeds. We have one Jealousy (1) at 15 weeks and another Jealousy (2) at 14 weeks. Jealousy (1), nicknamed 'the first,' has been on a water-only regimen for two weeks now. For the past three days, instead of regular watering, we've been adding ice to her pot to give her a little stress. Meanwhile, Jealousy (2), or 'the second,' is still enjoying her nutrient diet with TDS at 1800 ppm and pH at 6.2. However, Jealousy (1) has started showing signs of yellowing leaves and around 30% of her trichomes have turned brown. We're planning to harvest Jealousy (1) by the end of the week on March 3, 2024. As for Jealousy (2), she's still growing strong!

I have put them through stress by constantly trimming, I have did some topping and low stress training. I tried leaf tucking but plants were so bushy that no light was able penetrate the canopy. I did everything that I was told not to just to expirement with the girls.

D21 - Start of week three of veg for the second girl, while it is only the start of week two for the first girl as I had to replant her. I will probably do the first topping on the second girl this week but I'll see in a few days where she's at. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 5.9. A bit on the low side as I used too much pH down but it'll be fine for one watering. D24 - Yesterday I switched my light from the seedlings program to the veg program, and I'm now reading around 500-600 PPFD across the canopy. On the high end for sure, so let's see how the girls handle it. However, the daytime temp in the tent jumped up to around 30 degrees C after I switched the lights. #tinytentproblems I also added some support to #1 as she has a relatively thin stem but large leaves, so the oscillating fan keeps knocking her around. The second girl also initially had a slender stem, so I guess it is their genetics. (#1 is 12 cm tall and 15 cm wide, while #2 is 20 cm tall and 35 cm wide.) I will need to top the second girl this week as she grows a lot each day. I'm considering mainlining her but haven't made up my mind yet. I gave both girls around one liter of water @ pH 6.5. D25 - A couple of days ago, switching the lights to the veg program made the cover crop explode and turn into a jungle. I decided to trim down the red clover to increase the airflow around the girls and reduce water use. I watered the girls only yesterday, but they were already thirsty again, so I think that the clover was drinking quite a bit as well. After cutting back the clover, I gave each girl around 1.2-liters of water @ pH 6.5. D27- Today was the last day in week three of veg for the second girl and the last day in week two for the first girl. I really should have topped the second girl already, so that will need to be done as soon as possible. She is 26 cm tall and 38 cm wide, while the first girl is 13 cm tall and 27 cm wide. Yesterday, I removed the support from the first girl as her stem had gotten more robust, so it was no longer necessary. Today, I started brewing compost tea (worm castings, neem meal, kelp meal, biochar, rock dust, algal limestone, bentonite, and molasses) which I will leave overnight and feed to the girls tomorrow.

She got a nice fade going. Been feeding just ph’d water this week. Idk if she’s slowed down drinking or if my soil is a little water logged but the pots definitely staying heavier throughout the week. Dropped my light closer to the canopy but lowered the I reality slightly cause temps were creeping into the 80’s. I think we’re cruisin. Can’t wait to see how she turns out.
