Flower development definitely set back right from the beginning with extreme light intensity reaching 1650 ppfd before corrected. Never fully took off I donโ€™t think. Midway through week 7 started to slowly dial back the intensity from 900 at tops to 650 ppfd. This is a 9.5-10 week strain. Using fish shit to keep things ramped up, also Bokashi Bran and worm casting. Also mixing in Gaia seaweed extract 0-0-17 with the fish shit. Not a whole lot more needed that the soil and top dressings doesnโ€™t already have, if anything at all. I just like to give it that extra kick. I had completely wiped out those pesky fungus gnats and future offspring before flower, but they came back after top dressing and adding more soil. They come in the bag soil, and while I was on holidays for 10 days they came back and I wasnโ€™t on top of the new wave of those dirty bastards. Just about got them cleared out again with the use of nematodes and sticky traps.

Welcome to the Sweet Seeds Cup ๐Ÿ† Hey everyone ๐Ÿค—. Today was harvest day ๐Ÿ˜. Real flowering days: 71 Flowering days after changing the time to 12/12 h: 79 Days The last hour has struck this week and the harvest has finally begun ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ˜. It's time to harvest the seedless plants. The pigeons were very disapointed that there were no fem seeds to be had in theses first plants. The seed mothers need another week to reach the 35 day from pollination mark. You can see seeds in a couple of the photos. They're already turning brown. The plants are very hard, full and frosty! They smell like sherbert, and they all look alike. I'm very pleased:) Time to get these cleaned up, chopped down, and hung up to dry!

Welcome Back!

7/14 4AM MONDAY MUST DEFOLIATE!!!!! I HAVE 4 INSTEAD OF 2...BECAUSE OF MY LITTLE ACCIDENT EARLY ON.. I WILL TAKE ONE OUT OF FLOWER AND RE-VEG TODAY!!! 7/15 420am They are great cutting I took last month or week is great. Amino and mb today!! 230pm spectacular results today heavy defoliation I removed branches. I prefer a four cola grow in small spaces. Itโ€™s just better for airflow better for the plants and they responded so great. Itโ€™s like theyโ€™re jumping straight up now. Iโ€™ve never seen this. Theyโ€™re just so vibrant that means all the aminoโ€™s. Everything is working perfectly. ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ๐Ÿšจ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ 7/16 320am ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŒฟ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ’ฅ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘ 7/18 3am NOTICING Elongated Sepals!!!! from Search Ai "Elongated sepals in plants refer to sepals that are longer than average, often appearing narrow and pointed. This characteristic can be a defining feature of certain plant species, such as the long-sepal beardtongue (Penstemon calycosus). The length and shape of sepals can vary significantly between species and even within the same plant, influencing the overall appearance and potentially the function of the flower. Elongated Sepals: More Details Definition: Sepals are leaf-like structures that form the outermost whorl of a flower, typically green and protecting the bud. Elongated sepals are simply those that are noticeably longer than the typical sepal length for a given plant or group of plants. Examples: Long-sepal beardtongue (Penstemon calycosus): This plant is named for its elongated sepals, which are a key characteristic. Berberis (Barberry): Some Berberis species exhibit elongated sepals, with variations in shape and length among different sepal types within the same flower. Significance: Identification: Sepal shape and length are important features used in plant identification and classification. Pollination: In some cases, elongated sepals might play a role in attracting pollinators or influencing how they interact with the flower. Protection: Sepals, even elongated ones, still function to protect the developing flower bud. Morphogenesis: Studies on Arabidopsis have shown that the shape of sepals, including the presence of elongated tips, can be influenced by mechanical feedback within the plant and the arrangement of microtubules."""๐Ÿšจ. THIS IS ON 2 OF THEM, SO I MAY HAVE 2 STRONGER THAN AVG. PLANTS. I WONDER IF THE MB, AMINOS ARE HELPING WITH THIS TOO??? 7/19 I GOT A MAGNETIC STIR THING. 150pm they didnโ€™t need a lot of attention today. They do need to be trimmed back down to four colas. Iโ€™m running out of space they are very perfect and if I had more space the leafs would be bigger, but thatโ€™s limited by mine condition so thereโ€™s nothing I can do but they are absolutely incredible๐ŸŽŠ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

I noticed that this plant starts to smell sweet, flowery, and fruity especially at lower temperatures. When temps rise, the aroma shifts to spicy and gassy. Iโ€™ve never seen this happen with any other strain. Iโ€™ll definitely try to keep the temps lower from now on โ€” hopefully, that awesome sweet smell carries over into the smoke. Everything else looks healthy and happy. The buds are getting heavy and starting to fall over a bit. The way I BDSMโ€™d this poor girl, the branches are a bit too flimsy to hold them up.

Ok week 5 veg. I usually just let the plants grow through the trellis net. This time I tried a little bit of everything. I did a fairly big trim on leaves. I tied down branches with twist ties and then lowered the trellis net overtop. I may have gone a little overboard. But looking at other peoples diaryโ€™s I am seeing a lot of techniques being used so I will giver a shot. Trial and error. **Update** Plants growing up through trellis nicely. After tie down and trim.

Never got around to supporting these girls and the storm hit. Letting the neighbours take what they want of the fallen branches. Ones still standing can live on. The big girl in the back has many broken branches from the weight of all the rain that came down a few days back. Put the water level up near 10 inches. Sept 30th Big girls down...

~ FastBuds PAPAYA SHERBET Photoperiod~ Well here we go on another journey together through 'Canna-land' and this one's kinda special... forget that, it's VERY special because this is FastBuds newest surprise for the community, a FEMINIZED PHOTOPERIOD STRAIN!๐Ÿคฏ I was fortunate enough to score these seeds, of which only 1000 were available and can't wait to see what this strain can do! This Papaya Sherbet, according to FastBuds, is a hybrid with a 9-10 weeks flowering period. For a more detailed and accurate description of this strain the following from FastBuds says it best: "Combining the massive stature of Papaya (Oni Selection) with the strength and resilience of one of our best keeper cuts (Sunset Sherbet), this strain develops into a big, expansive bush adorned with numerous bud sites that later transform into a generous harvest of medium-sized buds. Papaya Sherbet flowers deliver a signature flavor of premium cannabis with subtle citrus undertones that emerge upon inhaling. During growth, her aroma makes for a sweet yet pleasantly bitter fragrance, giving you an idea of what the smoke will taste like. Notably stress-resistant, Papaya Sherbet is a great choice for growers working in challenging environments. She is very forgiving and rebounds quickly from any adversity, allowing growers the freedom to experiment with confidence that she will take everything like a champion she is. This strain embodies resilience, flavor, and abundant yields in every grow cycle." Sounds like an epic strain and I personally cannot wait for this lady to strut her stuff!๐Ÿ˜ ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ The Setup: This is going to be an outdoor grow, but I have started the Papaya Sherbet photoperiod indoors as our weather is still a bit too chilly to put a newly sprouted seedling outside (nighttime temp's dipping regularly into the 40'sโ„‰). The plan is simple... let her grow inside under a 19/5 light schedule until the nighttime temperatures are in the mid 50'sโ„‰, which shouldn't be long. After which, she'll be moved outside and transplanted into the soil which I have already setup and inoculated with beneficial microbes from BioTabs and slow release dry amendments from Gaia Green. Once she's established herself outside she'll be given periodic top dressings of Gaia Green 4-4-4 and 2-8-4 along with worm castings and Compost Tea's. Her grow area is approx. 5'x5' and I have posts and a trellis net set up already for when she gets bigger to aid in training her. Let the fun begin!๐Ÿคช๐Ÿ’š ________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Weekly Updates: 8/11- Here we go into the FIRST WEEK of flower for the FastBuds Papaya Sherbet photoperiod! She finally finished her preflower stretch, ending up at a nosebleed height of 90" tall! It was such a great sight to look at her yesterday and see little flowers beginning to form. She's going to be a beautiful plant! 8/13- Our weather has cooled off after last weeks tropical system passed and it's nice to have a much needed break from the heat and humidity! I am continuing to water daily with 5-8 gallons of well water from the garden hose. I also went ahead and removed two small branches that were at the very bottom of the Papaya Sherbet that would only take away nutrients from more beneficial areas of the plant. 8/15- Today, I top dressed the Papaya Sherbet with 3 cups of Gaia Green 2-8-4 Power Bloom which I watered in with well water from the hose. I then applied 1/2 gallon of a nutrient mix I made up in 2 1/2g of well water consisting of: 1/4 cup Neptune's Harvest Seaweed(kelp) plant food and 2 1/2 tsp. of Plantonics Amino Bliss. 8/17- There goes the first full week of flower for this incredibly stunning Papaya Sherbet photoperiod from FastBuds and I can not wait to see her transformation as this lady progresses through flowering! Thank you for checking out my diary, your positive comments and support make it all worthwhile! ๐Ÿ’šGrowers Love!๐Ÿ’š๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ™
