The war against mildew rages on. I will not lose. We are almost to the finish line... Stay tuned!! The second PK plant - the green one - is not suffering the mildew infection, the buds are huge and fat! Its a real trade-off and the purple PK is not easy to grow.

Total Days: 63 Flower Nights: 20 Some consistent development across the canopy. The last Zoap (back-left corner) is the slowest of the bunch but not more than 3-5 days behind the most developed plant. This bodes well as far as not having too large of a harvest window from fastest to slowest development. Trichome development is visible on a few of the plants. This is usually a good sign when you can see them before end of 3rd week, but doesn't necessarily mean any of the others are lacking. Still plenty of time and I expect them all to have a nice dense coating by the end. Garlic Storm^2 is stretching like crazy, as expected. The first zoap pictured is also a lanky girl but a couple inches shorter than GS^2. The rest of theh canopy is roughly the same stature. Going to allow those 2 plants to remain closer unless I see some damage to pistils. The 2nd to last Zoap has some awesome node spacing and warranted a couple extra pictures. I pruned off lower, weak axilla on FD14 - 1 day after last update. Feeling good about my choices as well as timing. Should result in an easier trim and maintain grams per square foot production. I never tried to refine this in a systematic way, but I am putting in the effort the last two grow cycles to remedy that. Some plants retained a bit more lower growth just so I can compare the results and make better choices in future grows. Mostly done training the plants. Colas are well-spaced. Wih another week of strong growth coming and then tailing off, the remaining gaps in canopy should fill completely. Effectively reduced necessary pruning and wasted growth/resources/time with good timing flipping to flower phase. A couple plants could be spread out slightly more. I'll tug those branches outward from center with some garden wire this week. Nitrogen ppm reduced to 99 - a little under 25% drop in total from vege formula. There was an intermediary step down on last reservoir refill, too. While some concentration levels shifted a bit, most stayed consistent to what was provided in vegetative phase, unlike nitrogen levels. Rounded to nearest integer: N 99 P 67 K171 Ca 91 Mg 76 S 101 So far avoiding the extra lushness that often creeps in mid-to-late flower in my typical grow cycle. Will know more about these adjustment over the next 2-3 weeks. It's been a slow work in progress the last few cycles. Splitting hairs at this point in regard to formula adjustments, but slightly healthier plants can't hurt, right? Phosphorous levels are higher than I prefer, but it is a necessary evil to maintain Ca levels, that I prefer were more than 10% higher as is. The canopy is finally providing enough moisture on its own. Dehumidifier is now turned on and avoiding RH levels greater than 65%. The hygrometer on this dehum is off by 10% or more. As the data rolls in, i'll get it fine-tuned to a roughly 60% average based on expected temperatures. Really enjoying this run. Despite the hiccup with the humidifier wick, all the minor adjustments to improve future grows are working out well and will be incorporated going forward. I'm pretty confident it's not a PH issue at this point. Seems plants are rapidily soaking up the nutrients in the water. I also found 8 or 9 fan leaves with slight nutrient burn a few days ago. Nutrient burn seems to have tapered off and haven't noticed any spreading. Going to try adding an additional watering to the schedule to see what happens. I'm hesitant to mix stronger nutrients due to nutrient burn I started to see earlier this week. At the same time, need to figure out the cause of the nutrient deficiencies. I'm currently using the Light Feeding Schedule from Mills Nutrients (says "light", but is still 2.06 EC including 0.54 EC for water + CalMag) Need to switch to flower soon but need to figure out deficiency issues before the switch. 5.23 F60 5.27 F65 - Everything has been going well this week. The plants went through a feed cycle that should carry them through flower no problemo. Started with the AACT Tea, then a bokashi drench with Fish Shit from Fishheadfarms and plain water from here on out. They are drinking quite a bit. 1.5-2 gallons a plant every 3ish days. The terps in my tents smell out of this world. The ScrOG and 3x3 are like a candy store. Passion Berry has mango/guava citrus terps while Deadstar v2 has strawberry watermelon terps. The 4x5 is much more varied, but in general the sweet pink dominates with it's grape candy terps and the dread bread cuts through with it stanky gassy lemon while the prayer pupil smells like moth balls and a bit of GMO. Very lucky to get to experience this much variety. 5.29 F67

Day 17, and she’s starting to show sugars from the top down. I can’t wait for a smell to develop, but when I did smell something during the first opening of the tent it smells something fruity. She’s drinking at least 4 gallons a day at this point.

8/01/21: 😹Week 3!!!
