2020-08-17 Beginning of Week 9 of flowering! Wow! The buds in the middle are getting super frosty now and I noticed that I had some colas that had dipped below the light canopy. They're now back up on top! I am still giving nutrients as I don't see many amber trichomes yet but I am going into the tent without the LEDs on to take some more updated pics. Don't wanna miss my window as I prefer to be stimulated instead of sedated by cannabis. Hoping this strain delivers. IF anyone wants to comment on the 'readiness' of my buds for flushing (or not flushing) please leave a comment or message me! 2020-08-23 Updated with this week's entire set of pics! Trying to take more with the lights off and just the flash to capture the trichomes. Looks like the sugar leaves have more amber trichomes. I've been advised by at least one person that it's time to harvest. Still looking for more opinions! Cheers.

Marking start of flower, same time as last year which is great. Should wrap up last week of Sept. Stretch is real, nearly a foot in the last week, well over 6ft already, probably another foot next week before she slows. Spacing is great, airflow is good, will get in there this week for some more cleanup. Top dress this week 30tbps 50/50 mix of GG AP/PB mixed with 6 cups home made compost. She tore through that top dress fast last time. Bud clips are all removed, other then a bit of cleanup she's in her final form. Will give another week or 2 before I toss and secure a trelis net to her and the frame, should lock her in tight till the end. Diablo Maxx, Silica and weekly spray of LCPT and that's a wrap for this week.

I am missed over time 1 week, now blowing with nutritions. We are in last 2 week run i am very excited she is gorgeous.

On week 7 she is still putting out a lot of new pistils. Colas are fattening up but still have a few more weeks to go. The smell is sweet and fruity so far but its still early as trichs are still developing. Her top colas got a little too close to the lights and may be fox tailing or shes just more sativa of a pheno either way shes making some long colas and Im happy about that :)

I thought I just had two of this strain, but it turns out that the 134g plant was actually a C4 hybrid! It isn't as pungent smelling as the others, but seems to have it's own unique flavor going on. Hey all sorry for the late update. Got really busy with work and just wasnt uploading. I had to cull phat Gary cause she was a genetic herm, I’m talking pollen sacks all the way up the main stem. I’ve seen a few stress sacks here and there on the lowers but nothing like this. I added a video of it so you might know what to look out for. It’s my first experience with exotic genetix and while I have heard of them having herm issues before, I have never had anything quite like phat Gary. But, on the other hand, this Gary Poppins #2 is the best smelling plant I’ve ever had. She smells like a straight strawberry soda, just this very fizzy strawberry scent. It’s unreal. Gary Poppins #1 has a similar terp profile, but not as loud and she’s frosty as ever. Both the perm marker s1’s are identical. Both look exactly like the perm marker flower I’ve bought from seed junky in the past. Very lime green buds with light oranges hairs. Smells just like a permanent marker. Couldn’t be happier with how this run is going, well except Phat Gary. Still haven’t decided on Exotic Genetix yet. I guess we will wait and see how Blueberry Gary comes out, she’s currently in week 6 veg. Shout out to the mad scientist Jbeezy though, this perm marker is unreal. When I saw he was releasing s1’s I couldn’t believe it. Gonna wash this entire run for some fresh frozen. I would absolutely love to get this Gary Poppins #2 smell to transfer to some live rosin. Will update this when we finish and I’ll make a diary for blueberry Gary and Gastro pop from compound genetics when I get a chance. 01/04/2022- Hello and welcome all been away on some family matter. So today was the last day this girl got watered and will also be the last day she got light as well, she will be cut down Friday morning. The smell has gotten a lot more stronger since flush was started last week Wednesday. Will update before I chop her down.

Day 48 - 12/9 - Light Water. No adjustment. Day 1 into Flowering. Day 49 - 12/10 - 1.5 Bloom + 1 CalMag. Day 2 into flowering. Red streaks on stems. Bright yellowish green new grown leaves seen. Question. Overall looks good. Concerned about bright yellow new growth and red streaks on stems. END WEEK 7.

During week 13 the BANANA KRUMBLE (=Banana Punch x OG-Kush) from GREENHOUSE SEEDS is developing FANTASTICALLY! The buds have a nice PURPLE coloration and are COVERED IN TRICHOMES! They shine like little stars when I go in at night and make a foto with the flash on...ITS AMAZING to see. All main- and sidebranches have developed into HUGE COLAS, which are full with DANK buds. The bud structure is very compact...I LOVE IT! 😍The topbuds are now so heavy that the plants lean into the two layers of nets I put in to support them. I am glad I installed the trellies already during veg., because now the plants need them. The nice dark green color of the leaves and the fat buds show that the plants are VERY healthy and therefore the BIOTABs nutrients and the spectrum and intensity of the SANlight LEDs work perfectly for growing cannabis. After all they were both especially designed to do exactly that...lol The two Q4W-Gen.2 fixtures on the sides are running at 100% (=3 green lights on dimmer ON) and the Q3WL-Gen.2 in the center is running at 80% (=two green light on the dimmer ON). All three lamps are hung at 40 cm distance to the top of the plants. I water the plants with PURE TAB-WATER, since the BIOTABS nutrients are self-regulating. There is no need for measuring the ph- and EC-value of the water, since you do not need to adjust it. Its VERY CONVENIENT and saves me a lot of time! The smell of the 8 plants is VERY STRONG now and the aroma is WONDERFUL! It is sweet and fruity with a 'gassy' undertone from the OG-Kush parent. Until now this round goes VERY WELL and I am very satisfied with quality of the genetics from Greenhouse Seeds. The plants grow exactly as the description in their catalogue states, and that is rare thing nowadays! 👍😎

Just finishing up week 3 of flower. Did another defoliation on day 21 but you can’t tell now...lol everything’s been rolling along nicely so far. Been feeding them around 8 gal of water every 2-3 days. Well that’s it for now, easy growing so far! Cheers 💨

There all swelling up and frosting up nicely. Definitely taking them 10 weeks maybe even 11 2-3 more weeks then the chop. Still a lot of white straight pistols between my two heavy yeilders

Hello growers, This week marks an important step in the development of the Pineapple Upside Down from Humboldt. The plant has now been moved into the flowering tent. The main reason for this change is simply to give the plant more space and to benefit from better environmental control. The larger tent allows improved airflow and more stable climate management, which should help the plant maintain a healthier rhythm moving forward. Even though the light fixture changed, the spectrum remains the same. The plant is still running under a 3500K spectrum, so there should be no real shock from a lighting perspective. Light intensity has been kept around 600 PPFD, which means the plant continues growing under conditions that are very similar to what it was used to previously. Some environmental adjustments were also made this week. The VPD has been increased slightly to around 0.8–0.9 in order to encourage stronger transpiration and improve nutrient uptake. Last week the plant showed a small slowdown in growth and overall vigor. The leaves were slightly droopy and the plant looked a bit less energetic than usual. After reviewing the parameters, the most likely explanation was a pH drift upward toward 6.2–6.3. While this range is not catastrophic, it can reduce the plant’s ability to absorb certain nutrients, especially nitrogen, which could explain the temporary slowdown that was observed. The pH has now been corrected and brought back down to around 5.8, allowing it to naturally fluctuate between 5.5 and 5.9. Since this adjustment is very recent, the plant will need a few days to fully respond to the correction. Earlier in the week, the EC had been increased to 2.0 to test the possibility of a nutrient deficiency. Toward the end of the nutrient solution cycle, the mixture was slightly diluted with osmosis water in order to rebalance the EC and avoid pushing the plant too hard. This week was also used to work heavily on the plant’s structure. A topping combined with a strong defoliation was performed. The canopy was opened up significantly, removing a large amount of leaf mass to improve airflow, light penetration, and overall structure. It was not a light cleanup — the plant was trimmed quite aggressively in order to reset the canopy properly. The plant originally had four main apexes, and each of those was topped again. This now creates approximately sixteen main growth points. With sixteen apexes, the plant structure is now approaching the intended final architecture. From this point forward, the main objective is simply to allow the plant to recover from this fairly heavy pruning session, regain strength, and stabilize before any further training. Over the coming days and weeks, the focus will be on observing how the plant responds to the pH correction, the environmental adjustments, and the recent structural work. For now, everything appears to be back under control. We’ll see how she responds over the next week. Alright growers, take care and see you next week.

Looking good but I'm hoping the smaller colas beef up a bit more, makes me worry about the yield. Surprised to see ambers but I'll take it as a good sign. Good news is my tent and light arrive tomorrow! Just a 2x2x4 and a mars ts1000 but I'm really looking forward to growing in it. I plan to grow two 3-gallon pots at a time, autoflowers of course! Looking forward to having more room to work with instead of just the bucket and about 12" diameter that I've had my first 2 grows in. Happy growing y'all! 😎
