Welcome to the beginning of week 7 for Karen. Thank you for stopping by! I'm counting this as the first week of flowering but she's been sending out pistils for two weeks, so I guess that weeks four and five should have been flowering weeks. Sorry about that. Surprised to be here but excited to see the next few weeks. Day 44: This girl is amazing. She took the horrendous start I gave her for the first three weeks, and just exploded. Look at her now! If you are really interested, now look at Misty and Nesia - imagine what they could do! I am really pleased with Karen here, I think she has more surprises in store. I am very glad I decided to LST or she would be towering above everything else in the tent. I have noted early Mg deficiency, as more advanced on Nesia. Correcting with foliar and re-addition of CalMag to feed. Day 44.5: Fertigated approx 1.5l. Defoliated approx 10 leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Day 46: Fertigated 2l. Karen is very thirsty. Her roots have breached the side walls at the bottom of the pot in 360 degrees... this is the biggest root system I've had on any potted plant to date. She is stretching fast now, I think by the end of next week she will be done stretching. I must get a photo of her stem. The base is ridiculously thick. Overall Karen is shockingly good compared to expectations from the poor start. I can only imagine how big she would be. She is currently 27cm tall and at least 50cm in diameter. I count at least a dozen colas. Day 47. She is now 29cm tall and pistils are bursting forth at a phrenetic pace. I have added a comparison shot of my grow space for size reference. Day 47.5: Defoliated approx 30 fan leaves. Slightly adjusted LST. Rearranged tent and cleaned floor. I have ordered some risers to raise the pots off the floor, this will make it easier to deal with run off. While I was inspecting Karen I had a good look at her roots. The fabric pot she is in has viewing flaps (they were designed for potatoes) and I had a look... every bit of the pot is full of roots, and they're all properly pruned. I see no circulation or binding. If Karen produces at anywhere near the rate she is supposed to then she might yield as much as 150g. Day 48.5: Rapid changes. Pistils everywhere, more stretching. Karen is very thirsty. Fertigated. Added pot risers and adjusted pot. Did a little LST to separate some bunched colas a bit. Had a really good inspect of the root system. Wow this plant is a beast. Day 48.75: Fertigated 3l Day 49: Height 34cm Diameter: 60cm. End of week summary. Really big week, she is stretching quicker and quicker. Today she has developed a striking scent. I will now have to keep the tent closed so temps will rise. Day 49.5: Removed about 10 fan leaves. On reflection back over this week I think I needed to be taking a top and side photo, so I shall do that from next week.

This plant is great! There is tons of trichome development and she smells super sweet. There is some yellowing going on but she’s a big plant for a 20 gallon pot so it’s hard to find the right balance of top dressing to keep her happy. But all in all she is looking good and stacking up nicely. 😎🍿🍻🌱

2/10: I watered today with about 3/4 gallon each, plus cal-mag, signal, bembe, armor si, a little open sesame, and their final dose of endoboost. I took photos today, but forgot to snap a shot of the Soooperrunt. She's as tall as the short one now, just not as bushy. I think she'll make a fair amount of bud despite her sloooow start, smaller stature, and smaller pot. The tall one is keeping pace with the biggest plants in the garden. 2/11: Wife home sick today....postponing construction project to raise the lights....kinda scary....about 10"-12" from the tops now.. 2/12: I woke up to find the tallest of these bitches stretched another few inches and within 9 inches of the lights!!! I quickly drug everybody out of the closet and undertook the project. In addition to that project, I installed and hooked up my new AC Infinity 6" intake fan. It's pulling in fresh air from the soffit vent on the eave of the attic, and currently feeding the garden with 46f fresh air. I'm able to easily maintain daytime temps in the lower 70f's now. I am able to drive the nighttime temps as low as I want. The only issue is that the outdoor RH varies quite a bit, so I ordered a 30-pint dehumidifier to put in the top of the closet. It will battle with the evaporative cooler while the lights are on to keep it at 45% RH, but after the lights go off, it will lower the RH to 35% unti morning. After another couple of weeks, I'll kill the evap cooler altogether and try to maintain 35% RH 24/7. I'm optimistic that it will be the difference-maker in maintaining lower RH while I'm flushing all the plants during the last couple of weeks. That's usually such a challenge...especially with a bunch of 5 gallon pots. I also sprayed everybody with boomboom spray to try and mitigate the light burn damage that is likely to ensue. 2/13: Still stretching... about 12" from the lights again. I will wait to raise the lights until tomorrow when I feed them. I'm seeing calcium deficiency on a few plants, including a #9. Will up the dose tomorrow when I feed. 2/14: I fed them today with about 3/4 gallon each including grow big, big bloom, tiger bloom, cal-mag, signal, bembe, humic acid, and I switched over from Open Sesame to Beastie Bloomz. Raised the lights another couple of inches. I did some training on them and defo'd a little bit. 2/15: Installed the new dehumidifier and rigged the continuous drain on it...works great. 2/16: I rotated the edge plants and removed some old leaves. I added another 22w 3000k 4' bar light under the canopy. 2/17: I rearranged the garden and defoliated a little bit. That's it for week 8-

Still perplexed with the tip burn but I don't think its a disaster, 2 more weeks until harvest or 3? no rush.

Hello growers and tokers! 👋 👩‍🌾 🧑‍🌾.🔥💨 There has been much change this week!! First there was a big defoliation done, I cleaned the bottom of the plants. All the growth that wouldn't amount to anything because the light doesn't penetrate that low. Also took off the biggest fan leaves to give more light penetration. Then finally switched to 12/12.. After just 36 hours after the defoliation there wasn't much change Some new growth..the colas are stacking nicely which is good. Hope they stretch some more still.. I'm still watering every other day, After the defoliation I watered with only Enzymes 2ml/L to clean the roots a bit then started with the nutrientes again. I dropped the amount of grow nutrients from 3ml/L to 1ml/L and started adding bloom nutrientes 2ml/L for now. I'll slowly be upping the bloom nutrientes and after week 2 I'll no longer add grow nutrients. That's it for this week. Stay tuned to see how they flower. Stay safe!

FBA2502 Week 3 April 13-19 Veg 2 This week I introduced nutrients to the watering schedule. My planned feed schedule will be to feed, feed, water each week until the time to flush. , adjusting nutrients per the growth cycle. Hopefully this will keep from overfeeding and reduce salt build up in the soil. Nutrients: I will be using General Hydroponics Flora line at ½ feed rate and Cal mag throughout this grow. My tap water measures 8.3-8.5 so even after adding nutrients, I have to PH down my feed solution. Regarding nutrients, I’ve tried Fox Farm, TPS1, Plagron and now General Hydroponics. What I am looking for is organic, ease of use, minimal individual bottles that will yield large, dense sticky buds that hit hard in effect. Plants range in height from 5-7” except #1 which has been pinned to the soil. I will try wrapping her around the perimeter of the pot. Since she leaned over, I pinned her down and have been anchoring along the rim, twisting the stem so the node is on the side or top rather than underneath. I don’t think she likes training since the stems are a bit floppy. They are all still in veg, bushy with large indica leaves. I’ve been tucking the large leaves under the bud sites to give more light under the canopy. I’m tempted to top one of the bigger plants to have a comparison on resistance and final yield. This week I made a short video for each 2502 tester and a pic or 2. GH Flora Micro ½ tsp /gal Gro ½ tsp /gal Bloom ½ tsp /gal Fox CalMag ½ tsp /gal PPM 573 & 715 when I added Plagrons Royal Rush 4ml. Week 5 for our Fast Version A from super sativa seeds club. She has a very nice pine tree shape! Looking amazing at the moment, cant wait to flower the lady and compare with version B. This week we gave some orgatrex and applied some more top dressing with worm Castings

Flowering coming on really well now and things seem to be going ok, one plant stretching a lot faster than the other so hopefully it slows down want these to be a little smaller in size than my previous grow
