Week four was definitely the week when the plants started to really grow bigger, I started some LST at my way cause even if I check thousands of videos I end it up doing what I thought was better for my plants, I perhaps was a bit late so it wasn’t stretching as I thought it would have, maybe I shouldn’t have wait this long, but again first time learning a lots.. I let the plant grow with LST only in week 4 in week 5 I introduced a scrog I made myself cause I thought that I couldn’t keep doing lst because I started too late

Another great week of growth, I've noticed she has pretty much stopped growing any larger fan leaves so I havent needed to defoliate. The smell in the space is strong now and she is producing lovely sweet buds that are dense and sticky. Reduced her nute intake and have introduced DRAGON FORCE.

Week 10 Update – Sticky Broccoli Auto Late Flower / Staggered Harvest Begins This week marked the start of harvest. One plant had to come down early due to size and structural issues, but overall quality is still looking strong. Hello. This is the end of week 4 and the beginning of week5 of flowering. Things are going good here in the greenhouse. Giving a little heavier P and K from now to flush. 3 of the 4 plants have a sweet citrus/hash smell to them. Delicious. I've made up some paper bags to catch some of the Kosher Haze pollen from the preflowers.to put on a couple of the Lemnesia branches for seeds. I've read that the bags they use at the grocery store for the french bread that has that cellophane strip so you can see in, works very well. I also chose some clones that I'll put in the smaller greenhouse for seed making. I chose a Pink Kush and a Nova OG to receive some male Kosher Haze pollen. I'll make some room in the smaller greenhouse where I've got the cactus now. I'll try to have the male higher than the females so the pollen drops and I don't have to have the fan up too high because I don't want any pollen to escape to pollenate other people's plants. But a little will escape out the roof vents with a big wind gust.😏 Speaking of the little greenhouse, I was putting up shade cloth and the paper wasps, that I allow to live in there because they are so helpful in the garden, were very courious about it and landing on it and then circling around. I was on the 3rd rung of the step ladder and 1 landed on my left temple and I swatted at the area while stepping back off the ladder. The aluminum door frame was just under my arm and it raked it as I stepped back and away. I looked at my arm and was very surprised to see a big piece of skin not there and blood coming out. About 1 1/2 inches long and about 1/2inch wide. I felt the top of the door and it was sharp enough to do that. I went and put a big bandage on and finished up with the shade cloth and then went to the hospital and got 6 stiches. I was in and out in 2 1/2 hours which I think was really good for 10 pm on a Saturday night. Ouch!!! We are still on book 4 of the Fat Freddie's Cat series of books and I'll go on to show the FFFB books after that. (Fabulously Furry Freak Brothers.) Harvest in the middle of Aug. just so you know. I topped and trained them two more times. I also lolipopped them, that is cut the bottom 2 sets of leaves and branches.

This plant was left in the corner and never had too much attention the toot system was not so good But! It’s very nice and dense with a potent smell of lime can’t wait to try. For sure Dutch passion is one of the best breeders I’ve used .. happy growing

As week 8 started, buds are gaining size. Plant is drinking lots of water. About. 3/4 a gallon a day to day 1/2. Added a second light to setup now. Hoping to help the flowering buds with extra light. Relocated my fan to help circulate air flow around more of the taper colas. Should have a around 3 week a left til harvest. Can’t wait to see how this first grow turns out and what to learn from it overall at the end.

After defoliating both Barbarian (=AK-47 x Barbara Bud) plants after week 11 they now develop more and amore flower clusters, since the light can penetrate deeper int the canopy now. The plants are producing trichomes like crazy, even the bigger sugar leaves are covered in them! VERY FROSTY PLANTS! The flower clusters clearly form colas now along all side branches and both plants fill up nicely. The smell is now strong and sweet with a clear peach aroma to it, it makes me smile every time I look into the tent. The plants love the Advanced Nutrients feeding schedule and are getting the recommended dose every watering.

Stopped with Ripen (should’ve switched to it earlier). Beginning flush with pH tested water for till harvest.

Sa couleur vert foncé et sa vigueur prouvent que le substrat est parfaitement équilibré pour cette phase de transition. ​Résumé : On arrive à un moment charnière. Avec 68 cm de hauteur, elle occupe l'espace de manière idéale. Les fleurs commencent à se dessiner nettement sur chaque sommet dégagé lors du dernier LST. Week 1 of the latest cycle and starting out with some new hardware and an expanded grow print👍. We’re running 4 autos via a recirculating Dutch bucket system. First time on a dutchy so it’s gonna be interesting to see how it stacks up against DWC. I’ll give a full rundown on the system I’ve cobbled together on the next update. So far - all seedlings have germ’d without issue using the standard p-towel method. Why more people don’t use this method on GD is beyond me. It’s so reliable that some breeders even warranty your seeds if you use this method and more than 1 seed fails to crack. We’ve got little sprouts coming up now and it’s all just waiting for those first couple fan leaves to come out and those roots to run to the bottom of each bucket. They’ve been placed in root riot cubes (essentially a version of rapid rooters) like most of our runs and I’d recommend their use with all autos. Time and stress on young autos is key so they need the absolute best start you can give them👌. End of week update - looks like we got 4 quality little seedlings here👍. Alls good other than battling a ph issue for most of the week. Keeps spiking overnight for no real reason - hopefully it’ll even out and isn’t the early sign of a major problem🤞. Background The strain line up on this grow is look’n quite saucy 😈. We’ve got 2 FB strains this time around - Gorilla Cookies (seems we always have some GSC cross in the works). Mainly because the colours look stellar and remind me of a sugar breathe we did last year that was 🔥. The other FB is their original Cheese strain... because we already smoked all our cheese... and we really like our cheese...😉. Emerald triangle was kind enough to include a freebie of Lemon Haze. Wasn’t really big on the list but we haven’t done a haze strain to write home about yet so worth a go👍. The last is a Cherry auto from Bomb seeds that we’ve been trying to get to for months. Let’s just hope that she’s not a dud like the last bean. The new digs for this run are courtesy MarsHydro👊. Their 2x4 single grow tent, paired with a shiny new 240w QB courtesy ViparSpectra. These folks were kind enough to discuss a collaboration and as a result, here we are to test out the gear with an inaugural run of autos. Each week, we’ll try to expand on some of the benefits of each, as well as any limiting factors or considerations that need attention when pondering purchase. Already I can say that both are high quality products in terms of overall craftsmanship. MarsHydro 2x4 Grow Tent: Excellent construction in terms of durability. Reinforced stitching on the zippers and corners ensures zero tearing. Conveniently placed screen vents and intake/exhaust ports. The ceiling exhaust port only exists on the right side. Perfect for me but not great if you’re running exhaust from the top on the left side (left side wall port makes up for this however). The aluminum frame is rigid enough to support the weight of the lights and accessories. Once you have some weight in the tent, she’s go’n nowhere and you can assemble and break it down in record time if moving or stashing the grow op. Only limiting factors I’ve noticed is that temp. Control will be an issue for a tent. It just doesn’t have the same insulating ability as a wood cabinet or other permanent enclosed space. No worries, this is offset by a small desktop heater and keeps the environment exactly where desired. The other issue was a production problem - the ceiling vent was accidentally stitched into the corner seams on the assembly line. Again, no real issue - just pulled it out with no damage or fraying to the tent or port👍. Closest comparable to it that I’ve seen would be spiderfarmers line of qbs. They feature the same top-o-the-line components and roughly similar spectrums. Where VS takes the advantage is in the convenience of the dimmer nob which is easily accessible and works great at 50% with no strobing👍. The heat sink is also larger which contributes to lower temps. That’s not a good thing in my case but beneficial for most folks. I can already say that this will be a great fixture through all stages of growth. Where I know this light will excel will be in the veg. Stage for sure. Dimming function gives seedlings a much better chance of success with the ability to use lower lighting levels early on and the coverage area on a 240w is great. The average grower will find this panel suitable and fitting to their needs in a 2x4 grow space although I’d suggest 2 units if going any larger than that. The total output in this space equates to about 30w/sq.ft. Which is a decent amount of coverage based on power vs. Growprint. Ideal for veg. Certainly but, in flower - I tend to run closer to 50-60w/sq.ft to achieve higher yields. Again, similar fixtures have performed admirably in the past and while this wouldn’t be considered an “entry-level” fixture, I’d recommend that any grower new to the game not skimp on lighting and start with one of these. The price points are a great value for quality LED tech. These days, so there’s little reason to even consider a lesser fixture👍. I have no detail on limiting factors for this light as yet but have heard that stock branded fixtures don’t necessarily incorporate enough red diodes. I’ve seen no issue myself but confess - I’m no lighting guru.
