Plant started growing faster and I did prune the 2 biggest leafs and started LST training.

Hey everyone! 👋 It's week 9 and the girls have really impressed me! 😵 The plant that's on the back of the tent (or the one closer to the timelapse video) was the most troubled one of the two (long leave stems, tons of branches, their leaves weren't very strong) but this week something happened and she stretched a lot, it was shocking! Perhaps she was stunned or something was affecting her? No idea but she even responded really well to the defoliation I did! (and to be clear, I did a lot of defoliation 😝). Her sister on the other hand was just developing well and it's clear she's a little more ahead. One important thing that I realized this week (and I completely forgot) is that these plants are autos and their flowering phase is shorter compared to the ones from a normal feminized plant. So regardless of which plant might be ahead of the other I decided to start feeding both of them (not full dose!) with my NP nutrients. Hopefully both will receive them well! And that's all for now. Plucked a few leaves that were looking at me funny ;) Not much to do! Smells of sweet berries, after a fresh rainfall.. Smells amazing! Watered with 2.5 gallons of the above listed nutrients, every 5-6 days. (when the soil becomes 95% dry) 10% of the solution watered runs out the bottom of the pot, and is removed with a wet-vacuum.

This week, I had to cut three leaves—two smaller ones that looked like some kind of insect had laid eggs on them, and one of the big sun leaves. Finally, I can see some brown trichomes on the B-grade buds. I thought about harvesting soon, but it will probably take another two weeks or so... Or I may have to harvest her week by week. I haven't decided yet. What I can say is that increasing the amount of fertilizer has helped improve the health of the leaves. I should have increased it sooner; it seems that autos need more nutrients earlier than photoperiod plants.

wow, they are really bulking up. the strawberry/gorilla is a big baby! If you the slightest bit late for water, it goes into full wilt mode. looks completely dead. i did a flush this week with only 4ml per gal of signal.

Week 10 - not long now.. She looks good, just a little concerned with the fan leaves but from what I've read this is normal and nothing to worry about at this stage. Hope that is true. 🤔 I've kept the nutrients lower this week as I am worried about over feeding. The soil I mixed with alot of Manure from goats, ducks and chicken so I dont think I need to add anything else. First time growing... better to be safe than sorry. I got to the bottom of last weeks droopy leaves - Underwatering! I had been keeping her out of the rain and had forgot to feed water. Lesson learnt. I noticed the roots get compact on top in a fabric pot if you dont slowly water in, the water runs off the pot and not through it. Fixed this by bottom feeding until the soil was fully wet - I guess bottom feeding is the way to go when this happens. 10-20% of Pistils are brownish now and most of the trichomes are cloudy with a few still clear and the odd one amber. Still trying to get to grips with the x45 loupe. I dont have steady hands 😆 The lower branches that were LST'd are getting really big now so for sure I will be pulling all the branches back next time. Removed potential bud rot and will closely monitor. Hopefully she will be ok for 10 more days 🙏🤞

What to say...this girls are awesome, 2 super different phenos. Awesome smell Still not figured out whats that pattern on sativa one but i think 15 days i’ll make the cut. Getting closeer

I do not use the child lock so I was confused. I opened the app and the box is offline. I do not know when this happened during the night. That is the reason the door would not open. I had to use the key that I used to open the box initially after shipment. So keep your key. Response time regarding the offline issue was over 5 hours as they are in California.  Resolution was to delete the app and reload. However, it took 3+ days for the resolution. They kept sending me the startup, how to connect by Wi-Fi, Customer support is lacking. The box had been working for 10 days. Fortunately, the app reset with the same data regarding the grow cycle and nothing was lost. Also good thing I checked the settings, I found that switching from germination to autoflower, the light cycle changed from 16/8 to 12/12. I usually run autos on 18/6. I decided to run at 16/8 for now.  The calendar within the app has scheduled daily tasks that indicate what to do when, which includes watering, LST, trimming, adding amendments etc. I created a grow plan based on the scheduled tasks in the calendar. It is downloadable in Excel if you want to create a grow plan for yourself. Note, i easnt able to ioload excel. When you complete them, you check off the calendar. All the highlights in orange are the calendar prompts for tasks.  The blogs indicate the Abby Button should show the environmental stats. Mine does not so I asked if I should get a new button or is my model the basic one without that feature. Mine is the basic version and the button does not show stats. Gorilla Zkittlez was a nice easy plant to grow. Coated in trichromes! Love the smell and taste. Probably one of the best tasting bud ive had. I give it a 8.5 all together. Once I get some more grows under my belt I’ll give it another shot and see if I can improve it.

Today marks a significant turning point in the life cycle of my cannabis plants. I've officially switched the light schedule to a 12/12 cycle, signaling the initiation of the bloom phase. This transition is always an exciting moment, as it kickstarts the period where the plants begin to produce the beautiful, fragrant flowers that we all anticipate. Simultaneously, I have made a crucial change to the plants' nutrient regimen. I've shifted from the vegetative nutrients to pH Perfect Sensi Bloom Part A and B. This nutrient solution is specifically designed for the flowering stage, and it will provide the plants with the optimal balance of essential elements they need during this critical phase. As we move into this new phase, I look forward to observing the transformation of the plants as they respond to these changes and start producing buds. The journey thus far has been rewarding, and I can't wait to see what the bloom phase has in store.

Week 15 - August 09, 2020 -Day 99 08/09: We’re almost at the end. I gave Aaliyah her first watering with plain water. I’m planning on chopping the top colas off of her in a week. Hopefully I can get something out of the lower growth that isn’t getting any light right now. Alexis is coming down in two and Annie in three. Annie has some damage due to the light, but she is hanging in there. Alexis looks the healthiest overall. She stayed pretty compact, so light is still able to reach her lower parts. I think I could’ve had a better grow overall if I would have stuck with using only 3-gallon pots. [General notes: The nutrients on the diary are based off what I’m giving Aaliyah. Alexis is on the previous weeks schedule and Annie in the schedule from two weeks ago.]
