Harvest time

Hello everyone! How are you? Here's an update on my Papaya Zoap. This week I'll only be able to share some photos, as I'm having technical issues, but I promise that next week I'll bring you the best photos I can. As I mentioned in the Black Muffin and Strawberry Cola diary, I started noticing that my plants had slowed down their development a bit and were showing signs of deficiencies. I discovered that my pH regulator wasn't working properly, but I've already fixed that problem. Most likely there was a root blockage. I've already flushed the plant once with distilled water, and I'll probably do the same on the next watering. I'll fertilize again next week. You'll have news soon, haha! Hugs machines.💀😍

4/7 245am MONDAY totally unnecessary lighting!!!!! Experimenting with supplemental lighting ideas!! it does not have a dimmer no blue lights. It uses 16 W so I lowered the main lighting from 99 to 97 and I will probably bring it down to 94 and that will keep it as cool as the room, but the same amount of heat is a person is all the tent should give off👍👍 FROM GROK... Today is day 74 since the plants sprouted, and day 35 of the 12/12 light schedule. I got lazy with the diary after I switched to flower, but I switched to the flower schedule the day of the my last veg update. Everything has been very hands off since flower, to be honest. I've still been following the General Hydroponics nutrient schedule for my dosing, and the plants have seemed happy with that. Both plants look great in there, especially plant #2, which has tons of roots reaching out of the pot and onto the grow tray. From what I had read online, triploid plants are supposed to be seedless, at least when it comes to fruit. I was hoping that would mean the plants would be incapable of producing pollen sacks/seeds. As usual for my grows, I found pollen sacks at about 5 weeks of flower on plant #2, and promptly picked it off. That's the only one I've found so far, but I'll have to keep a sharp eye out for the next few weeks. From experience, these bastards pop up on the lower nodes from weeks 5-8 of flower. If any of them open during weeks 5-7, the whole crop gets tons of seeds.

Week 10 pics and vids.

So I started in a rockwool cube. This week I put her in SOIL. Unfortunately it seems I'm unable to change the grow medium. So there's that. Anyway... Her leaves are really light shade of green however this is by no means a nitrogen deficiency. It's either just the genetics of the strain or a pheno. Ive heard people saying this strain flowers really fast so I was expecting her to flower this week.That did not happen. Kind of a good thing to be honest. Maybe this week however I am in no rush Anyways... I how to put her in soil at the beginning of the week because her one inch rockwool starter was completely riddled with roots and could not take another day. Put her in a 4 liter pot with about 20% perlite and 80% potting soil. Unfortunately I had no microryza for the transplant. All is going well and just cruising along I will have to start training her with some LST.

Gran turismo from lit farms is a super winner. I’m sad I didn’t take a clone. The plant has a craziest smell also it has super huge tricomb heads and its tricomb density is next level. When you touch the buds they are so so so very sticky and the smell is so strong probably the strongest smelling plant I have grown. Also the bud structure is super pretty and uniform. It’s almost unreal. I wish I had more seeds to this plant. I guess it will just be a memory after it’s all smoked and gone.

We’ve officially entered week 7 with our FBA 2506 from 42Fast Buds, and the transformation is impressive—our girl is now in full bloom! After a smooth and steady vegetative phase, the flowering stage is progressing beautifully. The decision to experiment with a 12/12 light cycle for this autoflowering strain has proven to be an interesting choice, and so far, the results are encouraging. The plant stands tall and strong in its 10-liter pot, with a well-structured shape thanks to early LST. The climate remains stable with daytime temperatures reaching up to 30°C and an average range of 27–28°C. Humidity levels are consistently between 60% and 65%, which has supported healthy growth throughout the cycle. We continue to feed her with Xpert Nutrients, and the impact is clearly visible—dense flowering sites, vibrant foliage, and a healthy overall appearance. The aroma is starting to build, and the buds are forming with great structure and frost. So far, this grow has been a pleasure, and week 7 marks a crucial point where everything starts coming together. We’re excited to see what the final weeks will bring!

So the Northern Lights free seed from RQS ended up out living all 3 of the Dosidos’ “USA Premium” seeds that all died within the first week of sprouting, hopefully an explanation will be found for this as I have not been able to come to any conclusion as to what happened. So here we are roughly at end of Week 14. Some photos are from after that point as we are getting close to harvest. What can I say about these plants other than what they already are showing. I royally gave them some bad treatment with pH lockout, and still managed to come back together and finish strong. Noticing, these are all the same strain, with some clearly different phenotypes showing through. To that matter, they all are amazing and showing some real quality signs. The trichomes are almost all cloudy and I have a few amber coming in. The terpenes are coming out and the plants are finishing out the remainder of nutrients in the soil with some good flushing as well. Right now the ladies are in the dark for the next 48-72 hours. After that time period, I will check the trichomes one last time before I chop them to hang. The size of these nugs is not only impressive in terms of length, but the density is also there to back it up. These are some dense, resinous, long ass nugs! Corona virus has the best smell and smells almost like it's got a blueberry undertone going on. It is also packed with resin, which is a bonus, however the nugs are smaller than the other two plants. Big Red has the longest and most nugs out of the three. It's smell is not really much to speak of, and the resin is decent comparing to the others. Stubby has the thickest, densest and most crystal coverage out of all three of them. Unfortunately it is shorter and the overall yield is not as impressive as the other two. So they all have their pro's and con's, but I am thinking I am looking towards a decent harvest with some well grown bud. This might be a grow I am not as ashamed of in my history! 😆 Happy Growing, cheers! 👊😁

The colours are popping! I’ve started to taper off the nutrients, I don’t typically “flush” the plants, but rather taper nutrients down until I have been able to give straight phd water for the last 3-4 feeds, making sure to water until I get about 5-10% runoff. I’ve tried both methods , the other being that I pour like 10 gallons of water through the plant, and I can’t tell the difference with my smoke, still clean and very tasty. I did a small defoliation at the end of the week, and added a support pole for the 1 lady in the far back, she was already starting to lean… just a couple of weeks to go !
