Like the setup. I'm using a similar method with gelato just starting week 7. Have considered using a top feed?

@2Byte, Cost is definitely an important factor to consider. I don't have extra money to throw into this, so trying to be cost efficient as possible. The pump I'm using comes from Harbor Freight and cost $11. Can with some ingenuity attack a 3/16 air line to it to use az your feed line. Definitely gives the girls a head start in life and you will not need to readjust bucket solution height during the grow. I just start off with about a 1" gap below the basket.

@Captainonthego, I've definitely thought about it, but I don't really have another $100 to spend on another pump for the top feed without attracting wife agro. I'm also running this whole setup off of one bathroom GFCI and don't want to put too much more on the one circuit

@medaddypig, bruh you saved my life. Piece of shit yellow PH pen was telling me 6.1, tried to calibrate and it fucked up, ended up buying a new pen and it was at 3!
